I made one post in the old egbeomooduduwa.com messageboard. That post was deleted because it was said to be too long. I was also immediately banned for making that post. Imagine my surprise when I saw that posts five times longer than mine were accepted from the special members of that forum who were FOOs (friends of the owner). I do not wish to dwell on that old board, but I wish to make it clear that any attacks against members of this forum made at the old place should receive a proper response here. The goal of this forum should not be to spoil for a fight, but we are not going to run from any fights either. The members of this forum are largely people who are determined to say NO to censorship of the childish type that goes unchallenged at the old place. We are not here to appease anyone.
Mr. B, welcome to the board. You are an eloquent voice for Biafra. I remember your posts from the old days. I am sure that you too were a victim of the inscrutable and unintelligible censorship formula of that wretched man and his wretched place.

The amazing thing is the beneficiaries of that senseless nigeria world dictatorship are the loudest critics of Abacha.Can you imagine going to Atlanta to discuss Nigeria when half your membership has been censored? Yet nobody has the balls to speak out, what a shame.

When I decided to quit nigeriaworld, I gave the owner of that censorship claptrap a piece of my mind. Of course, he did that which was typical of him i.e. ban me from participating in discussions. I have not missed that forum. I do not support the idea of Biafra, but I support free unfettered discussion where no one can hide behind strange rules to remove his political opponents from debates. That is why I joined this forum and why I will participate actively. What is really amazing is that many of the impostors and others with questionable academic credentials (you know who you are) have become the dim-stars of that old board. It is clear that some of those people could only thrive after the competition was eliminated on their behalf by their "friend," their "boardmaster." What a shame?

It feels good to join a forum where you are not just deleted at the whim of the owner and his friends. I don't even know who owns BiafraNigeriaWorld. That's how it should be. We should not have to worship the owner in order to participate in discussions. Good riddance to the Nigeriaworld bad rubbish.

I did not want to join this una new board, because I don't believe in Biafra. But because yesterday me I mentioned the name of this Board at the Nigeria world message Board they automaticlly banned me. na him be the thing way de wrong with una Nigerians you no like to hear the truth.
As much as I mi don't like Biafra thing, but I will like to thank the people way started this board for giving me this avenue to air my view. Also to ask people of Nigeria message board what crime did I commit way make them ban me. I know say they go visit this board that is why I am using this board to ask them whether I did something wrong, why did they ban me. Is it because I said we in the North will not accept resource control or is because I say a new Board named BiafraNigeria message board was lunched.
I hope the people way started this Biafra/nigeria message board will allow opposing opinion. me I go seat here and wait for answer from Nigeriaworld message board for the reason way them ban me. I never thought I would see the day when I would be expressing solidarity with pro Biafrans. For free speech I will make an exception. The truth of the matter is that the dictator of nigeriaworld banned me after I challenged a son of the soil. The son of the soil called me "Mallam" and I called him "Area Boy" and I was banned. I guess he was one of the FOO's in those days. If this BiafraNigeriaWorld board does not stoop to the same cheap vindictive ban-happy gimmick of Nigeriaworld, I will be a regular here and no amount of North-bashing can stop me. I was doing fine defending myself against the Southern sons-of-the-soil until I was banned.
Ndigbo: I guess the red lines are from the Biafran flag. Small inconvenience for the eye, if you believe in Biafra. Everyone of you should bring out your own copies of the flag and burn them, because Biafra is dead and burried. Many months ago, I told all of you on Nigeriaworld that we put Obasanjo in power and we are going to remove him whenever we choose. That's the way it's going to be.

Muda Kaduna: Welcome to the board. They banned you because you went against the sacred cows of nigeriaworld. That's a NO NO over there. Also, you mentioned a competing message board. Very soon, no one will be able to post the link to BiafraNigeriaworld.com on that website. The same thing was done to Gamji.com when it first started. I remember Mobolaji Aluko had a fit about that and he told off the "boardmaser" of nigeriaworld. I think that was why Mobolaji Aluko was banned from Nigeriaworld. You don't mess with the "boardmaser" or his friends, or mention the name of their competition over there. Gamji.com used to appear on nigeriaworld as "*****.com."

Despite the controversial name of this message board, I strongly believe that this board is going to command a reading and participation from the greatest diverse of Nigerians and Biafran alike.
This will be the hallmark of this board and has proved to be the undoing of Nigeriaworld.
But people let's move on now! We have a lot of issues to discuss on this board, let us channel our energies in that direction.

I don't care what this board is named as long as the owner allow us to air our views unhibited without fear of censorship you got my vote. At least if my views are stupid give me the chance to be stupid without censoring what I have to say. That was why most of us were banned at that censor margot infested Nigeriaworld message board. IG Nwafor, Cool down first, allow the dust to settle before we do that one. People are still rushing in and we will be having a lot of new members who were not familiar with the defunct nigeriaworld message board.

This is not the "BiafraWorld Message Board," and it is NOT the "NigeriaWorld Message Board." This is the BiafraNigeriaWorld Message Board. However, in the debates that led to the creation of this board, the notion of BiafraWorld was considered and BiafraNigeriaWorld emerged as the name to be adopted. I remain 100% opposed to censorship. If it happens here I will move some place else.
But, you do realize that BiafraWorld, if established, will, for sometime, be in a state of war, a war of survival. A nation in a war of survival does not install outposts for enemy propaganda within its own territory. I do not even see any particular reason why there should even be a BiafraWorld Message Board, when we have BiafraNigeriaWorld Message Board, and if all that we are doing is talk. In comments to Mr. nasounabi, I sub-silentio considered that a BiafraWorld message board might have to operate in a state of war.

I have the honor of being the very first person banned from the other place,(sometime in 1998/9) why, well for saying it the way I saw it. I was also one of the original members of that messageboard. That was during the days of DrDamages, Danladi and of course AJ.
Nice to be able to register here. I only hope that you remain as free as posible and don't arbitrary start banned people as you grow. That is what the other place did as it grew. Let the rumbles begin.

Fellows, It's great to learn of this board. Infact this board will go a long way if we have an open door policy, i.e a forum where people of ALL shade of opinions and views are welcomed. Be they the beleivers in Biafra, Arewa, Oduduwa, One Nigeria, etc. The Administrator of this board will do this board and all who choose to join it a great service by allowing these differing views be argured and counter-argured; this way advocates of each view point will know why the other fellow see things differently from him...this is what democracy means, and I wish this board should be. I do not wish to see this board being used to attack other discussion groups or people. I know that some folks here feel badly treated by the NigeriaWorld Message Board or some participants there. If so, then the only way to show you are different is by letting by gone be by gone and argure those views forcefully as you could here. I am a member of the Nigeria World and I wish to remain a proud member of this wonderful board! Kudos to the brains behind this great forum!
