Once Upon a time
There was a man
Called Great Britain;
He lived in a small land,
He had no resources
But he was wise
He picked up his garments,
And he left his land
Because it was infertile;
He discovered and explored
Many nations became his domain;
One day, he arrived
Yes, indeed he arrived
To the African continent,
He found treasures,
He exploited the owners of the land,
He recommended how they should live
He christened the place Nigeria
On the counsel of his wife,
They were different people,
They spoke many languages
They had different cultures
They had different religion
And they were made to live as one;
The were ordained by their masters
As one body and soul
But the found out
No body and soul existed as carved
They wanted out,
They were urged to stay put
And there was bloodshed;
And there was bloodshed
And they drowned along,
To make body and soul one
But it was not so;
They were different people,
And it was thought so
And all came to pass
With new reawakening
They tried again
But history repeated itself.
And they learnt their lesson
And history repeated itself
An no one nation emerged
And they do not belong;
They are a different people
