Gradually information appears to be filtering out on the proceedings of the southern governors meeting in Benin, and once again Obasanjo is being indicted as the negative force behind the opposition to resource control and restructuring of the federation.

As usual guess who is the errand boy for the dirty job ? "Pius Anyim".I am pleased with Nnamani's speech and Egwu's stand, no mincing of words.I hope the Niger Delta indigenes are paying close attention, the drama playing out here is not in line with what their elders have been claiming.

The sad thing here is that this is a meeting of only southern governors yet there is no unanimousity on a basic things as resource control. Why would a southerner oppose this basic right of his fellow southerner? By the time Obasanjo and Ige are done will there still be anything as south or will it go the inevitable way of the greater entity Nigeria?

Obasanjo is an area boy Turg. All he knows is bully tactics,. He doesn't know any thing about democracy. if Obasanjo can't bully you he sends the auditor general to accuse you of embazzlement so that he will get rid of you.

What ever happened to Kuta Report, did anybody ever heard of it once Okadigbo was removed.

Excellent link. I hope that that warlord Ikpatt is reading this. The trouble is that a few years hence, some history revisionist will fabricate stories about how Igbos did not support minorities in their quest for resource control. The minorities should speak up now. Who is your enemy when it comes to resource control?

What exactly can be done about this Pius Anyim guy? Does he realize what he has been doing to his own people? The Southern governors had a good meeting, and with it's prospects in reestablishing their demands regarding the oil sales to which Obasanjo must provide an answer within a period of time means Obasanjo's days are now numbered, and his tactics, to disorganize the South, in whole, is well recognized.

So the skeptical ones among us who think the South cannot work their differences out should be rethinking, because the time has come. And it is now.

Ifeanyi

The truth is Ndigbo never did anything to the Ukpabi Asika's of Igboland and untill we begin to ostracize such people there will continue to be more Anyim's.

I see the so called southern solidarity already collapsing, the FG has too much money and there are just too many souls for sale.
