Ladies and gentlemen there is an on going effort right now at Nigeriaworld tabloid to stop the proposed dredging of Rivers Niger and Oguta. This effort is been spearheaded by non other than Mr Big Steve and #2 Igbo hater Ikpatt of Nigeriaworld tabloid. As we speaking a letter is been draft by one Nsikan and Big Steve for members of Nigeriaworld tabloid to sign and sent to Federal government to stop the project.
This group have shamelessly manufactured and fabricated unfound fears to disguise their hatred of Igbos in order to stop this project. Even other Igbo haters like Kunle are plauding their phoney debate. This Group have manufactured environmental study as their concern for the project, Mr Ikpatt want Federal Government to explain to him and his group of Igbo haters how the project is going to be financed. It is now Igbo's turn to a get any atom of project in Igbo land since after the war all of a sudden Mr Ikpatt is now a Michael Millikan Financial wizard. where was this group when Ajaokuta, Kaduna refinery, Oshogbo steel rolling mills, Lagos airport, Kano airport, Calaber airport, Port at Calaber, Port Harcourt, Lagos, and many other federal projects were constructed. Where were all this quack doctors, quack, Accountants, quack environmentalists when all the federal projects were built.
Umu Igbo make no mistake about it, Igbos have lots of enemies in Nigeria, Some of those enemies migrated here in diaspora. This people will become overnite expert in every field in order to stop any project in Biafra land. I want to appeal to all members to be vigilant, I think we should start a counter letter movement to counter what this group of Igbo haters at Nigeria world are trying to do. By writing a letter to National Assembly and to all five Southeast Governors and State Assembly to not sleep on duty. The enemies of Igbo are organizing and getting ready to attack. Please I would like every bodies input on this, but we have to act fast Big Steve and his group of Igbo haters are ready to sent out their letter.

Thanks Biafra, for raising this issue. I had just finished reading the proposal and was intending to start a thread here, only to see that you have beaten me to it. I bet some Igbos are going to fall for this trick. When did they suddenly become environmentalist?. We did not hear their voices when Saro Wiwa was conducting his campaign agaist the environmental degradation of his area. When they needed to get rid of Abacha, they all jumped on the Wiwa bandwagon. Abacha is dead, so Wiwas battle has been forgotten. Now that some one has promised the construction of River Ports at Oguta and Onitsha, out come the selective environmentalist. They state the effects on fresh water supplies. Are we that short of fresh water?. Nsikan, one of the few who made a constructive contribution suggested rail link between the Major cities. This actually would be more expensive, and involve more destruction of green forests to be able to do this. Another contributor suggested writing to the world bank/imf to get a first hand report of the effects of the projects on the environment, but the big ones fearing that it might go against their agenda ignored that. Mr Ikpatt, claims to be worried about the cost and the source of funds, well I will say the same source that funds the Hajj, Funded the Ilorin and Sokoto international Airports, the airport at Minna, the Aluminium smelting plant, the refinary at Kaduna, the Defence Industrial Company which has so far only produced Common salt. The Eastern part of the Country has one of the busiest yet the worst road network. rather than welcome this attempt at openning up another avenue for mass Transit while decongesting the roads, people want to derail it under the alter of environmental concerns. Recently ,green groups in The UK were asking the government here to Dredge the canals that have existed in this country since industrial revolution. This was aimed to encouraged movement of goods via the waterways hence getting the heavy goods vehicles off the roads. This group of people in their haste to scuttle any attempt to develop Igboland, have picked up a very flawed arguement.

I cannot believe that Big Steve will join a group of Igbo haters to kill the Niger dredging project. I have carefully read Big Steve's posts on that topic at Nigeriaworld, and nowhere does he state that based on his own understanding of the Engineering and environmental issues, he has been able to conclude that the dredging project is environmentally unsound. Big Steve merely wrote about similar projects elsewhere in the world. Yet, Ikpatt is about to be allowed to shove this anti-Igbo petition through because Nigeriaworld is now made up of "moderate Igbos" and Igbo haters and those who don't care at all.

Thank you for your comments brother. Igbos have to understand that there are powerful forces and Igbo haters who are always out to distroy any progress in Igbo land. This people will leave no stone unturned to accomplish their sick goals. They will manufacture fears and issues where non exist to accomplish their goals. This people will become expert over night in every field to make sure that their goals are accomplished.
People consider those of us who speak out against this things conservative Igbos, But check the records facts are facts. This same people wanted to hang Senator Nzeribe when he called for Obasanjo impeachement accusing Obasanjo of corruption. However when Nzeribe turned his search light on fellow Igbo and brought down Senator Wilberforce Okadigbo this people cheered Nzeribe. Yet these socalled moderate Igbos want to continue to bury their heads on the sand. yes because all the socalled conservative Igbos who could checkmate this Igbo haters on Nigeriaworld tabloid were banned, for that this Igbo haters had a field day debating how to kill any project in Igbo land. Some of these people even patted themselves on the back for doing a good in their debates, how they successfully debated and killed the projects in Igbo land.
I think it is time we wake up and realize that this group of Igbo haters will stop at nothing to accomplish their goals. These people will use phony theories like oh there is a port in Calaber and Port Harcourt how come Igbos can't use it. Even when some Igbos Like Alexie Njoku and Brother Nwa Aro the only conservative Igbo left in that forum pointed out the reason Igbo business men and women doesn't use those ports. Their concerns were swept under the carpet and proceeded to continue with why the project should be killed. This people doesn't want to hear what conservative Igbos think, all they need is that once one moderate Igbo supports their selffish and hatred goal they will say oh some open minded Igbos are my friend they support what we are doing. Tuffia kwa azi gba ihe ojoo. Ihe ojoo buru ihe ojoo na ala igbo. Lets not kid our selves these people know what they are doing, forget the fake smile and fake compliment they give to their socalled moderate Igbo sell out sometimes. This people are out to distroy Igbo land.

This morning I saw Big Steve's name (Steve Nwabuzor) as the newest member of BiafraNigeriaWorld. May be he can tell us why he joined KKK-like tribalists like Clement Ikpatt in their effort to kill the Niger River dredging project that would have given deep water vessels unhindered access to Igboland. Why, all of a sudden, are we so focussed on environmental issues? is it because Igbos are involved? Assuming that environmental issues are truly the concerns of these enemies of Ndi-Igbo, why are they relying on a bogus study to kill the dredging project?

The best thing that can happen to any self hating Ibo uncle Toms, is to change their names to correspond with the Obasanjos, Gowons, Awolowos, Enahoros,Danjumas, Abubakars, Ikpatts, and Nsikans of Nigeria.
At a certain point in a particular thread on nigeriaworld, this anti-Igbo armchair letter writing champion conveyed a delusional message that he was more Yoruba than his Yoruba debater concerning the history of a Yoruba town/village. How do you spell LOST? So this is not the first time this glory-seeking individual has atttempted his stunts. Only this time, he's attempting to pry open the jaws of the lion with a withered hand.
Obasanjo's errand boys have advised him to attempt to neutralize the MASSOB's call for Biafra based on the injustices and non implementation of the three Rs (after the war) by the Nigerian govt by initiating the resumption of the dredging of the Niger river, the upgrade of the twin aqua ports, and the serious attention to Indigenously built international airport at Owerri or Enugu, including the (federal?) govt roads east of the Niger. Where Biafra has reached thus far, only serious Reconstruction, Restitution, and Reparation from the Nigerian govt can earn a pause from her. They( errand boys, Obasanjo, Hausa/Fulani, et al) realized that the onward march for Biafra Actualization is real and unfettered and are grasping at any thing to keep Biafra within the Nigerian space. Obasanjo want to revisit the Nigeria's promise of three Rs. This one is beyond any letter writing errand boy wanna-bes as their uncle Sege is bent on being regarded as pro Igbo and not anti-Igbo. The retrogressive and anti-Igbo stance of the likes of Ikpatt, Nsikan, and Steve is pathetically insignificant.
The funny thing is that in any attempt to display leadership airs with the Northerners and the Yorubas in the other forum, this pen and paper warrior got tongue-lashing condescension, instead. Nwa evule ako said that something will happen upon him only once, before he learns his lesson. Such wisdom is elusive to some, indeed.

Hear me that there is a difference between attention deficit seeking disorders, inuendos and opinions expressive of one's own conviction or belief. For the fact that this link represents unprecendented freedom of expression does not imply that we should respond to all comments and statements not relevant to the best interest of Nidigbo. We should carefully and selectivly press the ignore button to some jackass comments. The more we respond to their comments the more dignified they become. I have always said on this board that every enemy of the state of Biafra has the right to be stupid but you don't always have the right to be heard espcially when your loud and have no sense of sensibility.

Brothers Chiboy and Waypoint1Biafra: The beauty of BiafraNigeriaWorld is that though the forum has a liberal policy, members here are sophisticated enough to know when to push the "ignore button" and when to squash the insect, whether the insect is "Adojohn," "Ndigbo," or "nasounabe." Adojohn is frustrated because he has been largely ignored since he joined this forum. That is unlike the attention he received on the Jemibewon thread at Nigeriaworld. If we keep ignoring him, he will disappear. This will be my last response to that illiterate moron and buffoon from the lagoon.

It is nice to discover this “New World” of my lost brethren’s, the Seuns, the Ednuts, the Biafras and the rest of them. People who choose to desert a broad and disagreeable forum, for the comfort of an agreeable one.
I have gone through most of the postings and surprisingly have found little or no representations for the other side, and that to me will make the discussion boring and unfascinating. I have come to join this interesting siblings of mine in order to dissuade those hardened minds that there is still hope for Nigeria as a united country. I hope my disagreeable stand about Biafra will not earn me an immediate expulsion from this forum.

However what we don't tolorate here is people coming in with an agenda to distroy our forum. Disagree make your points for one Nigeria it will be welcomed.
You will find so many pro one Nigeria here and you will also find hardened conservative Biafrans like yours truely. BabaBoyz welcome. It is very noble of you to join this board which you have acknowledged have people , majority of whom you do not agree with their views about the salvageability of the entity called Nigeria. It always refreshing to hear the otherside. No, most members on this board joined not because they they found people who shared their views but because they were not allowed to air their views on the old board. No group of people will make progress by stiffling views not to their taste. The clamour for Biafra and the dissolution of Nigeria, arose because for years people have complained about injustices and have either been ignored, labelled trouble makers or belittled. I have reached the stage where I have realised that I cannot get justice and equality in Nigeria, so i want to get it in Biafra. Perhaps if people had behaved like you, by joining the debate rather than stiffling it, we would not have reached this stage. I say welcome again. We may not agree but we have to talk. ps; Notice how most people on the old board seem to think that all is well in nigeria.

bababoyz: Welcome to BiafraNigeriaWorld. We did not "desert a broad and disagreeable forum for the comfort of an agreeable one." Disagreements are welcome here. We were banned and barred at the other forum because we were found to be "disagreeable" to the status quo. Some members of this forum left the old place voluntarily because they became bored or they got tired of ALWAYS watching what they say for fear that they would be banned or otherwise censored. You can see that many of the members here who seemed tame at Nigeriaworld are writing more freely and more boldly because they feel at home here at BiafraNigeriaWorld. That's the way it should be. People like Ednut, Damian, Biafra, Ambrose, and even yours truly are starting to seem rather mild compared to some of our brothers and sisters here who may have found that Nigeriaworld was a hostile forum in which to express their views about Biafra.
You must admit that many of us here have NEVER been the types to look for "comfort" or "agreement" with those we debate. You will see that since we left it, the old place has turned into the type of "agreeable forum" that you complain against. But for the occasional interventions of Benbella and Nwa Aro, the motto at the old place seems to be "don't rock the boat" as everyone seems to be marching in lockstep, tripping over each other, as they agree-never-to-disagree on anything. Now, at the old board, you get the impression that all is normal and wonderful in Nigeria. Therein lies the deception that will cause BiafraNigeria to implode and give forth Biafra. Your disagreements are welcome here. Welcome aboard BiafraNigeriaWorld.

You guys are always heaping abuses on some other people and none of you gets banned. It is obvious that you guys are in a clique and do whatever you like because you all formed this site or party to the idea. Where is Ndigbo, Nasounabe, et al that would not back down to your whim and caprices? The beauty of every discussion is that opposing and constructive views are allowed to be aired. Muzzling opposing view is dictatorial and that is not my idea of Biafra. For your information I believe in Biafra! I hope this is a passing phase.

In any case we have not heard your opinions on anything why don't you try representing the other sides view.

people we are getting distracted and losing focus of what this particular thread is all about which is to counter the effort going on at Nigeria world right now to derail a project in Igbo land. As we speak Ikpatt and his group are putting finishing touches in their letter to Nigeria Government protesting the dredging of River Niger and Oguta. Now few people came in here people like Adojohnsule and Heis to make post that have nothing to do with the thread and we started chasing that.
I would like to redirect this thread back to what is all about which is to debate what is going on. We have to understand that Igbos still have enemies in that space called Nigeria lets not lose sight of that. We have to understand that this people have used and will use every thrick in the book to derail any meaningful project coming to Igbo land. Now the issue here we continue to talk about is this since Nigeria doesn't want to see us succeed or for any good thing to happen in Igbo land. Biafra is what is addressing that, that is to leave us alone to go our seperate ways. If Nigeria leaves us alone to determine our own future we will dredge the Niger and Oguta by our selves. We build the two airport in Biafra land Enugu and Owerri without help from the vandals. We can build the port at Onitsha and Oguta just leaves alone.
people Like Clement Ikpatt will stop at nothing to make sure that light doesn't shine at Biafra land. He will employ an outdated statistics to back up his phony ideas. So brothers and sisters please lets not lose focus. Please lets not be what our people call "Dike no na Ulo Ewu Amuo na Obu"lets keep our eyes on the big pictures.

Egwuatu Ozoemena, Ndigbo gave a lot of constructive criticism. He urged us to channel our energy into the future and forget about what transpired at Nigeriaworld.
Chiboy, The more you look the less you see. Ndigbo was banned because he repsonded when he was attacked. Open forum? Hahaha, you're right. It is an open insult from the inner circle.
Biafra, The discussion on the dredging of the Niger at nigeriaworld was a good one. Inasmuch as I am 101% behind such an undertaking it is imperative that enviromental assessment is carried out to find way to forestall some consequences of such a project. There is no way all the effects of such will be eliminated but we must as good neighbours and brothers to the south-sotherners (some of them fought with us) call for measures to arrest any harsh enviromental impact. As you know the area is currently been polluted by the Nigeria govt and its allies and I am of the opinion that we should not be party to an action that will help exercebate their already precarious existence. Many discussants who are not Igbos like Orem, Colo, Nsikan et al were objective. As for one Ikpatt, something is eating him up. Maybe Igbophobia.

Biafra, Well said. Those who registered to be nothing but monkey-wrench wedgers on important issue that are being discussed on this board can be laser-spotted at once. Conscious effort should be made to ignore their baits and concentrate to what we have at hand.
I also saw (in the other board) that the arm chair letter writer himself, got so disillusioned with hesitant members that he resorted to blackmail by threatening to write a personal letter, instead. I tell you, enemies of Biafra freedom, justice, and progress shall know no peace. They shall tear their hearts and skins in vain.
