I Dignitaries grace formal wedding of Ojukwu to Bianca

NGWO, ENUGU - THE traditional marriage between ex-Biafran warlord, Chief Emeka Ojukwu and his hearttrob, former Miss Bianca Onoh weekend was a roll call of who is who in the society.
Among those who attended the ceremony which took place at the father of the bride’s house, Chief Christian Onoh at Ngwo, Udi Local Government of Enugu State were the chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Justice Eze Ozobu (rtd), governor of Ebonyi State, Dr Sam Egwu, his Anambra State counterpart, Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Senate President, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, former Senate President, Dr Chuba Okadigbo, the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Avie Avidor and his wife, Chief Jim Nwobodo and his wife Pat, General Ike Nwachukwu (rtd), and former chief of general staff, Ebitu Ukiwe.
Others were former senate leader in the second republic, Dr Olusola Saraki, Chief Abiola Ogundokun, the All People’s Party Chief Whip in the House of Representatives, Chief Fidel Ayogun, former foreign affairs, minister, Chief Tom Ikimi, former presidential aspirant under the defunct National Republican Convention, Dr Joe Nwodo, minister of health, Dr Alphonsus Nwosu, minister of economic matters in the presidency, Chief Vincent Ogbuluafor, Chief Cyprian Ekwensi, minister of state for foreign affairs, Chief Dubem Onyia, the leader of Igboezue Cultural Association Chief Chekwas Okorie and Chief Uche Chukwumerije.
They also included the vice chancellor of the University of Nigerian Nsukka (UNN), Professor Gini Mbanefoh, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Chief M.C.K. Ajuluchukwu, Chief Rochas Okorocha, Chief Tony Enahoro, national secretary of APP, Chief George Moghalu, Chief (Mrs) Adanma Okpara, deputy governor of Abia state, Chief Enyinnaya Abaribe, Dr Hyacinth Uzoewulu, Evangelist Elliot Uko, president of Igbo Youths Movement and Chief Chika Okpala. Oliver De Coque supplied the music while other traditional dancers like the Abriba war dancers were on hand to provide entertainment to the guests. Chief Onoh who had not recognised Chief Ojukwu as his son in law gave his daughter Bianca palm wine which she handed over to her husband as a sign of love during the ceremony.
