Biafra,

What was the nationality you claimed in your application for the citizenship of the country you now carry her passport. Currently, there is no country called Biafra in the map of the world and I don't see that materializing without a reoccurrence of 1967-1970 war.

It is the same “ugly” Nigerian passport that paved the way for your new “glamorous” passport.

Go ahead and reach an accord to fight for Cameroon against Nigeria, and thereafter Cameroon can annex Biafra.

Bababoyz

Just to let you know, a lot of Biafrans came abroad with documents issued by the Peoples Republic Biafra and holding a Nigerian passport is like holding a foreign passport (although there are far more benefits of the foreign citizenship than Nigerian) it is just a thing of convinience.

So even if brother Biafra had a Nigerian passport initially it was only for convinience, the truth is that his loyalty lies in Biafra.People even change nationality just for sports but everybody is loyal to one cause, for me it is Biafra.

Biafrans are on exile in Nigeria so they have to carry the Nigerian passport. Obasanjo once told off some of his errand boys who came to ask for permission to hold Igbo day that "they should be gratefull Nigeria tolerates them after all they have done". Now does that not confirm that Nigeria is not our country? You only show gratitude to be tolerated in a foreign land when you are on exile.I am glad that he reminded these sabo's of that basic fact.

The only fight we want is to free ourselves from the shackles of Nigeria, not to be gratefull to any illitrate general. So if you want to fight cameroun don't count on us, you can go hire those Chadians you used to fight Biafra.

Bababoyz,
Why are you too concerned about Cameroon annexing Biafra? Check the Cameroonian/Biafran interactions. You'll realize that its amicably cousin-like.

If you have anything to say about Biafrans and their continued stay in Nigeria, Waypoint 1Biafra has provided a link for it.
Use it.

I don't think that bababoyz has been able to formulate his thoughts yet on why Igbos should remain in BiafraNigeria. It is not easy for any person with intelligence to sincerely formulate such thoughts. On the other hand, such thoughts are easily formulated by empty-brained people like Obasanjo. Go figure.

Obasanjo's reasons might include such blasphemy as "God put us together," or such idiocy as "we have to share the oil, since we went to war for it," etc.

Somebody stop this sinking ship and let us out, or we shall blow it to pieces on our way out.

Damain, you're right. Bababoyz has taxed his brains and couldn't come up with any tangible and intelligent reason why Biafrans has to be in continued bondage under Nigeria.

One can't help but observe that those Nigerians with same Obasanjo's idiotic reasons are those who fear and envy Biafrans of their Creator-endowed gifts. They shudder at the thought of moving on without the aid of Biafrans.

Meanwhile, they are so self-destructively suicidal in their ignorant steer of the sinking titanic Nigeria ship that they want the Biafrans to perish with them.
God forbid!

The Wada Nas article speaks for itself. Now, has anything changed with Obasanjo taking over the affairs of state?

Ndi Biafra ndewo nuoooooooooh!!!

Amucha 1 & Joe Onwuatuegwu,

Welcome to this great board and I'm sure you felt the way I did when I first tapped into this treasure of great price.

By the grace of God we will not let the labours of our heroes past to be in vain and we shall all match shoulder to shoulder and pass the touch of freedom to our children. I've just started another thread where Aremu and friends are now going to small Burkina Faso to buy food. We cann't carry on in a set up like this.

Once again welcome.

More on why the service chiefs were fired:

This Day (Lagos)

ANALYSIS
May 14, 2001
Posted to the web May 14, 2001

Kingsley Nwezeh
Lagos

When the service chiefs were shown the way out in the form of "retirement", the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Professor Jerry Gana told Nigerians that the three service chiefs were booted out for security reasons. Only recently, the reason was further expanded to the fact that Malu and company were standing in the way of ministers and contract awards.

Malu, specifically, was opposed to the training agreement which Nigeria entered into with the United States of America in addition to the aspect entailing access to military installations in the country.

While the present service chiefs are strongly advised to subject their actions to civilian authority in the spirit of the present dispensation, it is becoming increasingly suspicious the way the nation as a whole is being ripped open by the present administration. Malu had maintained that the diplomatic refrain of "Permanent interests" as against " no permanent friends" should be applied in the Nigeria-US military assistance programme.

Gana's security reasons were not enough reasons since requests for a nation's military strategy is never a sine qua non for training and professionalisation of the military in any nation . In fact, the posture of the Federal Government on the whole matter just as in deregulation, premature privatisation agenda among others are major security threats in themselves! Bromillow Jack's Outrage The other day after receiving a delegation of Association of Tourism Practitioners in her office, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Miss Boma Brommillow Jack for the first time since she assumed office lost her cool.

Reason: the press has not been fair to her in spite of her efforts to move the culture and tourism sector out of the woods. She specifically accused POST EXPRESS AND THISDAY of not been fair with her in their reportage of her ministry's activities. The POST EXPRESS, she retorted, lied when it reported that the photocopying machine in her office was not functional for a period of time (which is true). The paper, according to her, again lied when it reported that Culture and Tourism commissioners from the 36 states shunned her invitation to a meeting ahead the African-American Summit. She claimed that over 31 commissioners were in attendance as against 8 reported by the paper. (While both figures may not be very accurate, commissioners in attendance did not exceed 9) The case of THISDAY was that it rendered a lot of innuendoes as regards her activities. As a lawyer, she argued, she could read meanings into such write ups. Her friends, she noted, have had to call her to demand what was happening with her publicity profile.

In fact, as a result of the development, the press secretary perceived as releasing classified information to the press, sources say, has been placed under intense surveillance. His file is said to have been called up even though the said press secretary could be very annoyingly stingy with such information he is being accused of exposing! The truth of the matter remains that at a time like this, highly placed public functionaries should begin to see such things as a wake up call. Such criticisms at best is designed to encourage such persons to tow the right path. Besides, there are never protests when there are what you may call a 'good coverage'. The truth is, bad news is not just good but great news to the newsman. Want to avoid him? Keep walking straight, we are not saying that you don't walk straight, you hear! Enter the Adviser...

After the minister's outburst, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), Mrs. Omotayo Omotosho rendered a piece of advice to the minister. Hear her: "Ah why now?", she asked the man from the POST EXPRESS. And to the minister: "You see, I don't deal with these people, I deal directly with the Guild of Editors! Besides, the worst nightmare you can experience is from this print media people. I don't get such things from the electronic".

Adamu Bello's Tutorials Last week, during an encounter with reporters covering the ministry, the Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Adamu Bello in his office, he expressed reservations on what he termed inadequate coverage of the ministry. For instance, the national conference on agriculture which was held in Owerri penultimate week was not reported in the media. The other matter was the need to crosscheck with the ministry on any issue concerning the ministry that we intend to report . This, he argued, would contain instances of proceedings with negative reports about the ministry. "You know two sentences can cause more damage than two full pages of praise so we really think you should consult us before you go to bed or whatever you call it" . In addition, he would want coverage in prominent pages probably pages one and two as against consigning such reports to say pages 5 and 7. A lesson in news reporting, you would say.

A Tale of Two Honourables One was the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, the other, a member of the Lower House and Chairman, House Committee on Gas, Honourable Nicholas Ukachukwu. The latter, prior to his election into the House was a notable money bag known in business circles as "Sinekon". His other notable attribute is his "ofor" or mobile phone. At the National Assembly, you could easily spot him sticking the damn thing to his ear even when he is having a conversation with his colleagues.

On this fateful day, he was billed to travel with the Minister of FCT, Engineer Abba-Gana who was billed to represent the Vice President at a function at Onitsha. While other members of the delegation, having arrived the airport, shook hands respectfully with the Minister, the legislator raised his cellular and mumbled something to himself. The idea was to create an air of importance by blabbing to nobody in particular. The minister, familiar with such antics, ignored him (legislator) despite his mobile-driven attempts to effect a handshake. The minister seemed to be saying "This man self, is he more important than others". Cheap men in power!
