Umu Biafra,
Have you realized how this greedy, jealous, and phobic anti-Igbo tribalist (Areaboyz) is acting out lately?

Since he reluctantly admitted that he had no excuse asking the progressive and genetically superior Biafrans for continued stay in Nigeria, he has resorted to cheap tantrums every chance he gets.

A little while ago (in another thread), he whined that his one Nigeria Rulers had not ruled his country well and was begging the Biafrans to stay and jump start his wretched economy for him. Ignored by all the Biafrans, he got rankled.

Now, in his signature "dog in the manger" genetic trait, he's going from thread to thread, attacking, insulting, and jesting at Biafrans.
Chima Njoku is his latest victim.

Fokls, watch out for this rabid dog. Let's side-step him wnenever we can, until we reel him into the Nigeria dog pound where he belongs.

Sister Amanda,
There you go again. Who did that to you? Why do you always have to insult, even people you have never and will never meet? Why are you so angry? The Igbo say that no matter how hot your anger may be, it cannot cook food. A person who sells eggs does not start a fight in the market. It is a stupid dog that barks at an elephant. Finally, sweetness attracts more flies than sourness. You need therapy sister.

Bababoyz did not initiate the above, but bababoyz is beginning to think it could not be farther from the truth. If you do not have enough fund for the THERAPY, I will contribute my widow's mite, if it will help your ANGER MANAGEMENT.

somebody, CSE I think it was, challenged me to make a case for the continued existence of Nigeria. In faith, it is a difficult exercise. It is much easier to make acase for some untested Utopia than it is to make one for a failing Nation. That indeed must be why a few crank idealogues are having a field day on this board.
In the end, it is more a question of faith than reason. You believe that with a new ethnically-driven sovereign state will come all the solutions to the problems which have entangled the Nigerian state. I do not share your belief. Biafra and Biafrans have been part and parcel of the Nigerian state for too long, our failures are your failures, our evil is your evil, our backwardness is your backwardness. Biafrans have held high office, made national decisions, shaped government policy - They are products of the Nigerian system. THEY WILL NOT CHANGE WITH A NEW STATE.
Unfortunately I can hold no one to this, not being clairvoyant. This will for now remain the topic of abstract ruminations and engaging myth-making.
On the other hand, I choose to believe that Nigeria is not iredeemably bad. We have all gotten something out of the state no matter how much we may want to deny this. We at least got an education, if nothing else, that has allowed us to flourish(relatively) in our foreign abodes. And what have we given in return? Zilch
We have done nothing positive to change our communities. We instead sit around in the comfort of someone else's civilization hoping for angels from heaven to deliver us, and when that doesn't fall through, egad, we dream up an entire new country. Talk about entrenched negativism.
If we can not save Nigeria, we can not create a better Biafra. It is just not possible. I believe that Nigeria's failures are my failures and I will try in my own way to turn it around. Every little step counts.
I will rather face the reality of what is than be steeped in daydreams of what may be. That is where we differ.
So CSE, in answer to your challenge, I do not support the continued existence of Nigeria, what I look for is a better Nigeria.

LONG LIVE THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA

Never saw this thread. I see it now. I am however glad that there are some reasonable brothers and sister? making commentaries.

Bababoyz Kudos.

Mustapha? kudos. No mind dem. They will soon realize that " if wishes were horses, beggars would ride".

I would one day tell my biafran escapades. Then they will know that talk is cheap. May be some think that this the grass will stand and fight rhetorics. When they see the real deal, they will squirm.

By the way, it is fun reading some of the attacks. Its fun. The vultures are descending. Come!

What cowardly tales have you for us ? I hope it won't be Aremu like tales out of Yenegoa.
If you had any worthwhile experience in Biafra you would never be doubting it's actualizatiion. What grown man goes around proclaiming a failed nation like Nigeria with such impunity and expects to be taken seriously.

As for you Mustapha, better go and learn how to grow beans, the Biafran freedom train has left and with it your meal ticket to a lazy life.Yeah right, every tribe wrecked Nigeria just like every tribe has ruled Nigeria in the last 32 years.

Why don't you guys get a life and save your selves the miserable existence of coming here to argue with people who are hallucinating. Have you paused to ask yourselves what your mission over here is or are you just not gainfully occupied.

Okay so Biafra is a dream and yet you shamelessly argue with dreamers day in day out,can you see how sad your lives have become?

Mustapha,
Despite the state of war which Biafra was forced into by Nigeria, Biafra began to function fantastically well as soon as it came into existence and continued same until it was forced to stop. Ask foreign jornalist or rather read books written by them on how Biafra functioned. Even while Nigeria was drifting into the abyss where it is now Biafrans had little or nothing to do with that. Instead they built their third airport (the first and the second being Uturu and Uli built during the war). After the war Biafra built the Owerri Airport without any help from the Federal despite peace time. Now if you go to some villages you will see roads and brigdes built for communities by Youths and individuals. Many Biafran villages have been electrified by self help of their sons and daughters. All these have been going on while Nigerians have been busy stacking the Naira in their bunkers and some in their water tanks above their houses and others in banks abroad. So why do you find it fair to include Biafrans in your "ALL of us" ruining Nigeria. Do you know how many Biafrans that were attacked by all sorts of means by Nigerians for being obstacles in the corrupt deals that were perpetrated in the government. If you can not convince them, join them was a slogan that was being hammered in the ears of Biafrans who found it difficult to participate in the looting. Some may have heeded but I tell you what it is unBiafran to be that way. The truth is that the North and the West did 98% of the desruction of Nigeria if you want to be fair in your judgement. So leave Biafrans out of your state destructive habits as nigerians. Why look for a new Nigeria if the fool at forty will remain the fool for ever.

Guys, some of the opposing forces of Biafra on this board seem to have "ou" in common in their names. Thay look to me like sympathizers of "otu nime ndi agbata-obi anyi" but from either Republic of Benin or Togo. Just an observation.

I had the opportunity to watch a documentary about the end of the old Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. One Croatian was saying that they wanted out as early as 1980's but the people of Serbia did not want to listen. They were living in a sort of Paradise at the expense of the other peoples of Yugoslavia. The rest is History!
I cannot help but notice that some contributors on this board, instead of trying to bring forward arguments on why we should remain in Nigeria, are trying to ram it down our throats that it is Gods wish that we stay together. Yeah Right!, Just like it was Gods wish that there was a Union of the Soviet Socialist Republic, Federal Republic Of Yugoslavia. If it was Gods wish that we stayed together would he not have made us speak on Language rather that 250?.
Why do we always use God as an excuse only when it favours us to do so?. I cannot remember these people using God to explain away Abacha or, the present state of the economy.

To all my foes and friends who have sent their congratulations my way on my elevation to SAN, (Senior Advocate of Nigeria) I say big thank you.

My special thanks goes to Queen Amanda and her subjects, who have kept my fingers tied to my keyboard, and in essence make it happen so soon. I am still expecting a special emissary from the queen in acknowledgement of my new status.

Thank you all, and peace always.

Bababoyz,
You are so determined to wrestle some hearty laughter out of me! Well, I've indulged you.
Why is it that all the mischief makers on this board love to pull my foot, gleefully?

Alright, Congratulations! Although you've been exceedingly mischievious through out your tenure on this board, you trully earned the title of Senior Advocate member.
I anticipate that you'll see the Biafran light, eventually.

Bababoyz, you got yourself a follower. You heard what Mustapha opined... He wants to be your shadow in helping you rebuild your country, Nigeria.

In that case, congrats again for being a Nigerian role model for young Nigerian lambs like Mustapha. Hmm....you got your impossible tasks all cut out for you in propelling your Nigeria forward. In that case, you'll need all the luck you can get convincing Bature, Muda Kaduna, Ugali Shaga, etc., of your leadership ability. Goodluck, though I don't envy you.

Congrats, and welcome to the oppressor group. I only hope you will see the handwriting on the wall that the Biafra dream, is a dream of the mind.

The only freedom that is worth fighting for, between you and me, is the total freedom for all our people.

Biafra freedom will amount to vanity if your fellow brothers and sisters in Nigeria remain in shackles and bondage. It is like one rich person in a poor family of hundred people, he will remain a poor person too.

There is happiness in wealth when is equally shared.
