All:
Ever since Obasanjo came to power, relying on the advice of Danjuma, Obasanjo has gotten rid of some high-ranking military officers. The Hausa-Fulani North has complained about some of these firings. Recently, the Abacha-loyal (i.e. Hausa/Fulani-loyal) Malu from the Middle-Belt was fired. Are these firings a surreptitous Yoruba coup d' etat? It seems that each time these top army men are fired, only the Yorubas benefit from the vacuum created. Did this also have anything to do with the recent visit of the thief IBB to Aso Rock? Is this the Afenifere agenda that Bola Ige said Obasanjo was implementing? Over to you.

In as much as Aremu and Afenifere would love to impliment an Oduduwa agenda, methinks they lack the spine to do anything that will upset the caliphate. Aremu is actually the most vulnerable comedian to ocuppy "their" sit of power when you consider that his chief security is the one Babankita gave him. That is why I think he will never do anything to annoy the North even though he has every reason to after his near death experience in the hands of mad Sani Abacha. You'll recall how he made so much noise about a council of state decision on Sharia and Sani of Zamfara still went ahead to sever the healthy limb of his fellow citizen after giving him a can of softie. After Aremu's premature pronouncement that boy Reuben Abati wrote an even more premature article captioned "the retreat of the Jihadists". Since then Aremu has shut his trap and even Bola Ige has recently pronounced Sharia legal.
