As I visualize the dawn of the free and independent Republic og Biafra, I wonder waht you relentless and victorious Biafrans would do on the day of Republic of Biafra Actualization. Feel free to let it all out.

For me, Biafra Actualization is a very personal mission as well as a national one.
The very day of our feedom from Nigeria, I'll pay homage to my Creator and Dieties with heartfelt humility and reverence. Then I'll savor the delicious blessing of Biafra country visited upon us from on high, for the rest of my human life.

Okay, let's assume it happens. But how do you come about this? You have no sea port, no international airport, no sustained commerce, and still not recognized universally as a sovereign state. How is that going to work?

I cannot wait to assist in the reconstruction of Biafra, from province to province. I'll be heartily joyful to see the tears of joy, hope and optimism on the faces of Biafrans as they exuberantly work to set up infrastructures and other basic amenities that are denied them in Biafraland.
What a joyful satisfaction it will be to see Biafrans young and old, skilled and unskilled, gainfully and meaningfully employed as they take pride in rebuilding their country, Biafra.
I'm sure I'll shed tears of joy as my feet touch the soil of Biafra heartland, as I alert from The Biafra Airways at Owerri International airport of Republic of Biafra. I wonder how that day shall be!
I yearn to hear the beautiful and sweet Igbo dialects of Ndigbo Biafra. The last time I was home, I sat mute in a public transportation bus, deliciously savoring chats by other Igbos with various dialects. I was regrettably sorry when my reverie was broken off.

Mustapha, don't feel too bad. We may let you in after 10yrs of border closure. For security reasons, you'd be finger-printed, photographed and have your Nigerian passport ran for authenticity, and then stamped for 90 day visa...in accordance to ECOWAS protocol. While inside Biafra, you'd be kept under surveillance by Biafran Bureau of Intelligence, for the duration of your stay. How's that?

Sister Amanda You are too much, you just made my sunday night. Now I can go to bed and sleep through the night. It looks like Mustapha couldn't even come in with whimper much less a bang.

I will work in hospitals for no fee. In addition, I will teach my favourite science subjects. During the weekends, I will farm on rich tropical forest lands. My savings will be reserved for exchange of knowledge through research etc.. with friendly and civilised nations, not including certain parasite nations of the present day nigeria.

Bababoyz don't worry we may have to deny you visa even though you may an ECOWAS citizen. However if you slip in through the Border the Biafra intelligentia will apprehend you fast.
It's so nice to be back especially with this thread around, because I strongly believe we need to plan what we are going to do lest we become like that foolish entity called Nigeria.
Thanks ever so much my sister Amanda for initiating this thread. What will Udumeze do??
I'll shed a couple of tears. I'll then roll up my sleeves and with other Biafrans of good will embark on the Biafran power project based on 21st century clean renewable energy system. We'll go to the highlands of Biafra like Okigwe & Enugu and build some decent wind mills. Then to Aba and Onitsha outskates and install power units based on recovery of methane from disposed waste. The solar units will be mounted around the flat lands of Ngwa and owerri and coal powered steam turbines @ Enugu and gas turbines at Ukwa and egbema will be the stand by emergency system. The grid will be @ Oji river and the uninterrupted power supply will be obtainable in Biafra within 18months.
Next, we'll embark on nuclear development and within 3yrs of actualisation, Biafra will be the second nuclear power in Africa alongside South Africa.
Then, I'll erect a marble tomb stone for the first son of my father who was murdered in his late teens by the uncircumcised Nigerians.I never knew my brother, but I know he made himself a human shield so that those of us who where embryos would survive to live our dreams.
And after that I'll retire to Ohafia and become a primary school teacher in foundational Engineering courses.

A majority of the Biafrans in the diaspora will head home right away. As a welcome to Biafra, they'd utilize their diverse expertise in raising up our wonderful Biafra. By the time Biafra is 5 yrs old, she is expected to have soared to 21st century rank of a developed nation. Biafra will be on her way to reclaiming the glory of the great Nubia...her forebears.
For the starving Nigerian immigrants seeking residence in Biafra, no entry is allowed. Nigerians that will be granted entry will be those on verifiable business mission. That population will be on quota, as we can only allow certain numbers with mandatory application fees. They'd be fingerprinted and photo IDed. They must carry their IDs on their persons at all times. No Nigerian embassy will be allowed in Biafra...only consulate office. All these measures are for Biafra national security as Nigerians are world renowned criminals.

Wow! Brother Ohafia, Well said. Now that is a Biafran Visionary talking. Gwam Okwu! A nam anu!
I'll definitely build a solar Home in my homeland, and as one who'll be on industrialist mission in Biafra, I'll certainly need the abundant energy generated by the Risen Sun for cost effective running of my businesses. Can't wait to put the smile on the faces of other fellow struggling Biafrans. A landmark monument for my Dad whose precious blood was also spilled by the blood-thirsty uncircumsized Nigerians, is also a given.

I will go back to my place of birth Oji River and help rebuild the school for the Blind, Deaf and Hard of Hearing which I understood has been abandoned during these past years by the "stealing nigerian" army rulers. I will pull the students off the motor park and once more make them proud working members of Igbo community.

My fellow Biafrans I am with you. Within six months of actualizing Biafra. I will connect every High school in Biafra from cross river to Delta to the information super high way. Biafra will have a top notch ISP provider. I will work with some American Technology which I have been in contact with to build a fibre optic network in Biafra. Dialing Biafra phone lines will be like dialing your next door neigbor. There will be no more "all trunks are busy please try your call later". That phrase will be history in Biafra land.

This is a very important topic. We should really pause and think of areas where we are deficient, and then get people to train to correct those deficiencies. The only area where I can think of is in the areas, of food production. This area has been abandoned since the end of the war. I know that in the areas of Healthcare Delivery, Science and Technology, IT, Industrial Production and Commerce we would not be found wanting. Our fight for Independece should go hand in hand with indepence in other areas.

I agree with you. We need to re-visit the glorious days of MI Okpara when we had farm settlements and plantations scattered across the more arable part of Biafra including cattle ranch around the Afikpo axis. I learnt Sam Egwu is trying to revive some of the palm projects in his state. Part of the Mbakwe legacy was the Avutu poultry built by our Jewish brothers, and from where Aremu was buying day old chicks before he went to prison because of his lust for power.
Yeah, we shouldn't have any problem once we set our mind to it. I remember when students at Umudike came up with the uncomplicated formula for multiplying seed yams which was an achievement in its own right. Even my little cousin was involved in a degree project based on "eju"
We need to get out of this evil and backward system ASAP!

Wacko and Ebubedike both of you are right on the money. I remember Ohaji farm settlemet at at Umuagwo near owerri. The exploit of Umudike was well documented until Federal government of Nigeria took it over and distroy it. I remember the vegetable research in Enugu. We can revive those agencies once Biafra is actualized. what about our palm oil mills scattered all over Biafra before the war. We can revive those also.

We must not only bring back those glory days, but we must exceed our past achievements in an ever evolving world. It is only Nigeria and Nigerians who believe every little thing is "rocket science". It is only in Nigeria that citizens will have to pray for ordinary concrete to be poured on the roads. I'm glad we won't have anything to do with that place in a short while.

Biafrans, You have all spoken very well and wisely.
I have a deep reverence for the land and its cultivation. My simple and natural soil fertilizing and rejuvenating technology will be sorely needed in food production, especially in those areas where the soil has been stripped of its nutrients by erosion. No chemicals or other artificial additiv
