Nowhere in my post have I doubted the ingenuity of the Igbo people. The achievements of the mentioned Igbo individuals is even enhanced given the dire circumstances in the post-war "Igboland". And having been priviledged to attend(for a short period) a well-known educational institution in Eastern Nigeria, I am well aware of the capabilities of my Igbo brethren. However, you all can not cloak yourselves with the glory of a few, just as you all do not want to be tainted by the transgressions of others. If you do this, then as well as being poster boys and girls for ethnic chauvinism you indirectly support the notion of class, national and racial superiority. My query was pointed and individualized and Amanda dear, I still await your answer

Mr Ebubedike, if I still remember history, your father was a member of the 1954 western house of assembly before the tribal lord, chief Awolowo came and talked this law makers into deserting NCNC just because it was being controlled "by an Igboman from Onitsha." If that was your father, he was a very enlightened man indeed. +++ Efforts by Biafran soldiers shall be vindicated in the minds of tomorrow.
I will restructure the entire health care system to meet up the 21st century standard. I help to pursue missile defence systems, nuclear and hydrogen bombs, submarines, communication satelites in the space and spy satelites to spy on Nigeria and their Britain friends. And then we will begin to connect all Biafran towns with modern rail roads and roadways.

Mustapha, I have gone back to your posting from which you referred. If you found "my latest posting rather saccharine and devoid of common sense", I'm not in the least bit concerned. What you have displayed rather, is the typical Nigerian way of thumbing and pulling down the Ndigbo ingenuity and honest hard work. None of us (Biafrans) here in diaspora would have had the encouragement to achieve what we have or would have been allowed to prosper, had we been residenced in Nigeria.
For you misguided Nigerians, whatever you embark on must solely be profit-driven...no matter how harmful or exploitative. You wonder why Nigeria is cursed! For me, I'm driven by genuine provision of services to the public for the fulfilment of needs which will yield profit in return. So I count very much on customer satisfaction and trust aka patronage which equals profit.
One of my business propositions is being implemented elsewhere. I'm optimistic that its viability is a given. Since Biafra is still under occupation by a hostile Nigeria, it is not prudent for me as at now, to do this business in Biafra. However, the minute Biafra is actualized, I'll make Biafra my headquarter.
Granted that my good business scheme(s) can succeed in many countries (except Nigeria), it is my goal to thoroughly ground them in Biafra where their benefit to my people is paramount. It is called economic patriotism.
You keep sidestepping the issue of your need to call your fellow Nigerianers to attention in order to opine ways to jump-start your moribund Nigeria. I still say, worry none about Biafrans and how they want to raise up their Biafraland. Rather worry sleeplessly about your Nigeria, the sinking ship.
Very well said, but will those bent on an onward march to primitve existence comprehend such modern thought? You see trying to educate Mustapha is tantamount to what my American friends call "hogwash", a complete exercise in futility (Dimkpa anaghi akwo aka tiere okuko aki)
The march to actualization can NEVER be derailed by any sabo's home or abroad.
Where in Jesus world is this brilliant mind someone whose perspective and debating style I like, Amanda Wekson? Lately I've gone way back to read most of her posts any need to repeat how impressive they are? Anyone with information on how to reach her should please PM me so I can reach out and say Ndeewo and hopefully plead for her return to the comity of friends, brothers, sisters and even foes. I can only imagine what she was like during her fearsome days in BNW.

nice thread even if it is somewhat wishfull thinking for now or kind of puting the cart b4 the horse. I also know what I will do on Biafra`s actualisation. But b4 then; Let us also not forget to talk about how to actualize Biafra. There is a lot of work to be done ,battles to be fought, a lot of sacrifice to be made and some blood to be spilt b4 we can enjoy our freedom in Biafra. And its not going to be achieved only by rethorics or armchair revolutionaries but by taking personal risks and action. The awusa and the white man will not give us our freedom on a platter of gold. We have to fight for it. Aluta Continua

Everyone who was ever banned has come back through the back door. For some of us, Amanda is missed here the same way that mad cow disease and Othniel/AfroEuro/Pidginboy, etc. are missed.

Are you not the handle-matching freak of BNW? Why don't you use your talent to tell us which active handle is Amanda Wekson?

You have a great question however I'll disappoint you by stating that my specialty is in identifying othniel, you and other provocateurs whose goal is to insult and destroy. On a second thought, please leave me the f.u.c.k alone (lol).

This is why Biafra must be actualized and soon.
quote:VOBI 03 26 05 THE TROUBLE WITH NIGERIA?
Several times over many years expatriate and Nigerian intellectuals have claimed that the trouble with Nigeria is Leadership. However close examination will reveal that this claim does not stand close scrutiny. Biafra Foundation states categorically and without equivocation that the trouble with Nigeria is not leadership. The trouble with Nigeria is ONE NIGERIA. Nigeria is a hopelessly flawed, poorly thought out, impossible contraption, hurriedly knocked together by British colonialists without any regard to the historical, philosophical, cultural, religious, attitudinal, social, and general human differences of the people they threw into this one barrel of confusion. The result has been catastrophic conflicts and cataclysmic conflagrations that have claimed the lives of more than five million of these different peoples since this amalgamation.
In July 1953 when the leaders of the three regions, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe (East), Sir Ahmadu Bello (North), and Chief Obafemi Awolowo (West), with their entourage went to London to ask the British Government for self government they could not even agree on what they wanted. It is not a surprise that in 1955 Chief Awolowo declared: “West and East Nigeria are as different as Ireland from Germany; the North is as different from either as China.” Later he again declared: “Nigeria is a mere geographical _expression.” Ahmadu Bello also recognized the impossibility of this contraption when he declared that the amalgamation of North and South Nigeria was “a mistake.” Fredrick Lugard who amalgamated North and South Nigeria and whose girlfriend gave Nigeria her name noted the same problem and stated: “The North and South are like oil and water, they will never mix.” Many other people have said essentially the same thing, this house of cards called Nigeria has fallen, tear it down.
Why have we refused to listen to wise counsel and quietly and peacefully dissolved this unholy alliance? Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe (EAST) was an exceptionally bright and effective leader. So were Chief Awolowo (WEST) and Sir Ahmadu Bello (NORTH). Dr. M. I. Okpara (Premier, East) was another exceptionally talented and efficient leader. So were Dennis Osadebay (Premier, Mid West); S. L. Akintola (Premier, West); Sir Ahmadu Bello (Premier, North); and Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa (Prime Minister, Federal) yet they couldn’t put humpty dumpy together. Why could they not get Nigeria to run efficiently and as one entity right from self government in 1957 through Independence in 1960 to the first coup of January 1966 and even now? Why is it that in over fifty years the Federal Government of Nigeria has never been able to unify the people, organize free and fair elections, national census, a sensible federal civil service, cite federal industries based on economic consideration, grow the nations economy, guarantee citizenship rights and obligations, fundamental rights and freedoms, respect private property, etc. Why? Even under the so called true federalism as existed from 1960 to 1966, the Federal Government still could not organize these basic functions or guarantee these basic rights. The Regional governments functioned effectively in the regions where the Federal government was not interfering and undermining them as happened in Western Nigeria. But the federal government itself was in total shambles as it tried to put together incongruous philosophies, policies, and practices that made sense to one people (Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba) but made absolutely no sense to the other group (Igbo, Ijaw, Ekoi, Ibibio, Anang), (e.g. Revenue Allocation Formula). Things have remained like that till today.
The more tragic situation is that the character, culture, philosophy of life, values, attitudes and behaviors of the Igbo, Ibibio, Efik, Anang, Ijaw, and Ekoi have been polluted and disfigured by being immersed in the culture of the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba. Look at the leaders of the people of Eastern Nigeria from 1960-1966: Dr. M. I. Okpara, Dr. Akanu Ibiam, Dennis Osadebay, Omo-Osagie, Alvan Ikoku, Oyibo Odinammadu, Dr. Chike Obi, Margaret Ekpo, Dr. Okechukwu Ikejiani, E. O. Eyo, Janet Muokelu, O. U. Affiah, I. J. Fiberesima, D. C. Ugwu, A. G. Umoh, Dr. Kalu Ezera, Mbonu Ojike, J. O. J. Okezie, C. Abangwu, M. O. Ajegbo, Nwafor Orizu, Louis Mbanefo, R. A. Njoku, Pius Okigbo, Jerome Udoji, Jaja Wachuku, A. G. Umoh, W. O. Briggs, F. U. Anyiam, A. N. Aniagolu and many others. Look at our leaders in Biafra: General C. Odumegwu Ojukwu, General Philip Effiong, Dr. M. I. Okpara, Dr. Akanu Ibiam, Col. Achuzie, Col. Nsudor, Col Achibong, Col. Iheanacho, P. I. Okeke, Louis Mbanefo, J. I. Emembolu, N.U.Akpan, Prof Kenneth Dike, Prof. Eni Njoku, G. C. M. Onyiuke, Dr. S. E. Cookey, P. O. Nwkoby, Dr. Ifegwu Eke, James Udo-Affiah, C. C. Onoh, Emmanuel Aguma, Frank Opigo, Prof. Eyo Bassey Ndem, I. S. Kogbara, Prof Michael Echeruo, Col David Ogunewe, Captain Anuku, Sam Mbakwe, and thousands of others. Think of all these people and one thing that strikes you is their honesty, genuineness, and commitment to serving the people of Eastern Nigeria and Biafra.
Now look at the people who claim to be our leaders today: Adolphous Wabara, Prof Fabian Osuji, Venetius Ikem, Ojo Maduekwe, Arthur Nzeribe, Anyim Pius Anyim, Evans Enwerem, Edwin Clark, Don Etiebet, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Orji Uzor Kalu, Chris Ngige, Chris Uba, Arthur Eze, Emeka Offor, Ogbonnaya Onu, Arthur Mbanefo, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Chimaroke Nnamani, Alamesiagha, Achike Udenwa, Chris Adighije, John Mbata, and hundreds of others like them. Look at all these people, what do you see? Do you see filth, corruption, rottenness, moral depravity; do you see looting, stealing, lack of concern for their people, insatiable greed, blind avarice, selfishness, and stupidity in the extreme? Is that what you see? Judge for yourselves!
In forty years of being sandwiched in the Nigerian culture of stealing, robbery, corruption, and unprecedented evil many people of former Eastern Nigeria, Biafra have lost a sense of who they are and adopted the decadent, stinking Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba culture of corruption, embezzlement, looting, robbery, “ogwu ego”, etc. The leprosy of Nigeria has now fully infected these people. Senate President after senate president is disgraced out of office for corruption and stealing; Chris Uba and Iwuanyanwu conspire to rig all the elections in Igbo land and Biafra in favor of Obasanjo and his gang of thieves; Ngige takes an oath naked before a fetish shrine and lies and lies and lies like an alcoholic; Orji Kalu takes the revered Ohafia War Dance Troupe to Katsina to dance and urinate on top of the mass graves of his fellow Igbo including people from Ohafia who were slaughtered in 1966 and from 1980 to date. Who was he dancing for? He was dancing for the same people who organized and continue to organize the mass killing of Ndigbo in Northern Nigeria. Can you imagine the anguish of the spirits of those dead Igbo and other Biafrans as Orji Kalu and his Ohafia war dancers urinated on their mass graves? At the end of the day one of the murderers of Orji Kalu’s brothers ties a red and black cloth around Kalu’s head and he goes home happy. Ewu Awusa has committed abomination!!
See what has happened to all those who have gone to bed with One Nigeria – from Ekwueme to Ngige to Wabara they all have been plastered with excrement. All those who keep pursuing One Nigeria will equally be plastered with excrement.
We salute the courage of the 53 MASSOB football players who are being persecuted by the government of Nigeria. The free world is now fully aware of your plight. Persevere and do not shake for the spirit of the world is with you. To our brothers in South Africa who showcased Biafra in an unprecedented public rally we say may God continue to guide you. We urge Biafrans all over the world to stiffen their resolve because Biafra must become reality. It is our only hope.
Every Anang, Igbo, Ibibio, Efik, Ijaw, Ekoi who is a soldier, policemen, immigration, customs, prisons officer, banker, civil servant, intellectual, student; every security man, driver, taxi and okada cab; every businessman and woman, and trader, must realize that he or she is a Biafran. You must find other Biafrans near you, watch each others back and be each others defender and protector against our collective enemy, Nigeria. Our unified effort is what we guarantee our survival for you no longer need anyone to tell you how much Nigeria, the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba oligarchy hates you all and is determined to destroy you. Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
May God guide and protect you, the sovereign Republic of Biafra and all those fighting for her freedom!

The subject, thrust, and delivery of the above article is absolute excellence. The author is a man after my own heart. Let all Biafrans speak up and claim that which is their right, and let Nigeria perish.

Folks The march continues!! Those of us in USA and Europe must join in this noble march/struggle. It is the only hope for our children yet unborn. We can not just sit and watch. The attention of the world must be brought to Biafran's struggle.
Umu Biafra, We are sorry that we missed your call and have been trying to reach you. We need your Leader to call Prof. Enekwechi 319-400-3190 as he has been trying to call him back. He may have written down the Phone number wrong.
Biafran Baby wrote: Great Biafrans!
On 16th of March 2005, Biafrans marched to the Union Buildings, which is the seat of Government of the Republic of South Africa. Prior to this date, The Biafra National Congress (BNC) the MASSOB aligned movement that projects Biafran actualization agitations secured airtime with Kaya FM one of the most prominent Radio stations South Africa to sensitise the very large Biafran community in South Africa about the clamor for a free Biafra. Nigerian Government through their agents quickly learnt of the situation and tried to ambush Biafrans on air through questions that aimed at rubbishing the Movement as a secessional tribal grouping, but lost on the radio debate, the movement in a show of strength went ahead through a road walk and face to face campaign with leaflets reaching almost all Biafran peoples in Johannesburg and notifying them of our Freedom march to the Union Building. This move alarmed and angered the Nigerian Government who used all dirty tricks trying to get the Police not to approve our peaceful procession. But South Africa being the Democratic Country with Democratic values that allows for freedom to a peaceful protest permitted the march.
On the March day, BNC mobilised over 600 Biafrans, from Johannesburg, Kempton Park, Germiston and other cities outside Johannesburg and descended on Pretoria. We serenaded the streets with Freedom songs and got coverage from several South African Media houses. This was a great achievement for the Biafran People. and we got support from the Locals who also joined the processions. Later on that date, Nigerian Government went on air again through S.A FM claiming that 50 militant disgruntled Ibos that are bent on distabilising the Nigerian entity held the march. BNC also learnt that the Government rolled out over us$250,000.00 to discredit and gag the Biafran freedom Movement in South Africa.
On Saturday 19th March the Anti-war coalition also invited the BNC to their worldwide anti war demonstrations which also signaled confidence in the BNC as a Non-Violent Freedom Movement, there were over ten freedom movements in that march from Congo to Burma and the BNC distributed over 150 'Free Biafra Now' T shirts to other freedom organizations and we also serenaded with full media coverage with other freedom campaigners and used the occasion to enlighten people about the plight and aspirations of Biafra.
I want to let use this medium on behalf of the Biafra National Congress let all Biafra actualization groups that we have really done a lot here to bring to the notice of the free world about the injustices being meted on Biafrans by Nigeria and we will do more. We also know that Nigerian Government is rattled by our determination and resilience. They will come out in their usual style and fashion to stifle the Biafran Uprising, but their efforts will NEVER come to fruition.
Biafra is marching on!
Biafra is marching on!
The Enemies are defeated and Biafra is marching on!
