Guys,
That girl is GOOOOD!

Those who come here to preach lip-service patriotism should be told that geniune patriotism flows from how you relate to your country not how your country want you to relate to her.
Moreover patriotism does not come cheap; you have to PAY (provide for your citizens) to have it.

Congrates sweet girl!!

I am happy that this fine damsel won for her adopted country, Spain. Those who want her to represent Nigeria are just being mischevious. If given similar opportunity, I wonder how many of them would represent Nigeria? Afterall, doesn't the Nigeria president represent the interest of foreign potentates than those of the country he was supposedly (s)elected to represent? You see, that is the crudity of the Nigerians, they talk about "patriotism" as if its some kind of amulet that will provide food for the family and school fees for the children, and those who are busy preaching this are the most intent in looting and selling the interests of the country to the western powers for beads, mirrors and a song.

The Gloria Anozie's and Emmanuel Olisadebe's of this world are one of the reasons the whole world most bring it's attention to the suffering of the people of Biafra on our enslavement inside nigeria, very soon, the rest of the world sporting teams will be filled by dejected Biafrans who has never been given any chance of survival inside the evil state called nigeria.
Let me be punished if I should allow any of my own do any thing for the failed state of nigeria.
Congrats sister Gloria, Biafrans love's you!

Well said.

Example of Nigeria's "patriotic/nationalist/one Nigerian" leaders and how they show it.
Ofcourse Nigerian way: "patriotic" Buhari imported suitcases filled with Nigerian currency notes; "nationalist" Babangida till date unable to account for the excess billions of dollars Nigeria made during the Gulf war (a journalist with London-based Economist magazine who made this revelation was deported overnight); "unionist" Abacha has billions of Nigeria's money stached in diferent accounts in many countries around the world; "one Nigeria" Obasanjo in conniviance with the "philantropist" late Abiola swindled Nigeria of billions in what the activist misician Fela correctly tagged "International Thief Thief (ITT)"

To these crookish Nigerian "leaders" and their equally mischievious followers, those ROUGES (to borrow Buhari's words) are "patriotic" while a poor young girl whose parents must have sweated to send to school and later discover her God-given talent should not exploit it to the fullest because she want to get a socalled presidential handshake from a leprous hand. How ridiculous!

Good that people are now wiser.
