Bature, Why now? You didn't even congratulate me. You had a hand in my winning the awards. Have you added me to your bad list? I see you congratulated Tunde Onabanjo. Is this Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba conspiracy at work here?
By the way, Mustapha is none other than our infamous Olatunde/O/Tunde/Georges 2. Last I checked, he's still son of Oduduwa, not Arewa.

Folks: I just spoke with "Chuck" and he told me Aluko was reinstated in order to keep Nigeria one. Furthermore, he ackbnowledged even though he is Igbo, that, what the extremist like Biafra, Dikeanatuegwu, Ohafia, Waypoint1Biafra, Amanda Wekson, Chiboy, Ezeka Onu, Paul Ibekwe, Osetutu, Patrick, Nkem E. Ejiofor, Ifeanyi C. Obigbo, Chima Njoku, Nwa Aro, Chudi Sokie, Adaeze, Amucha 1 and the rest are agitating for would not help a one Nigeria. He insists he never meant to be what he was portrayed as. He blames Big Steve for wrong counselling.

TB I will rather be starving hungry free man than to be a well fed slave. Tell chuck to go and sholve his one Nigeria in his fat as--. I don't care who he reinstate. His board is going down anyway he reinstated the Alukos of the world to breath new life into his board. Howver dead horse doesn't run.

Amanda: How can I forget you. The only Biafran who inspired my Senior Advocate. You brought out the true color of the board and may your effectiveness to the worthy causes that you fight for never cease. Keep the flag hanging.

Waaaaaooooooh, I have just received another award from Chuck. While I do not know who this son of gun is, quiet frankly, I do give a damn because this award means a lot to me than all the awards I have received. In his eyes and goddamned blessed opinion, I am a Biafran extremist. You bet you life is what I am. That oughtta feel good folks. Thanks Chuck.
Paul Ibekwe: Thanks. I thought the award should have read Best scholarly work instead of best schorlar. Now there is a sense and sensibility in the phrase.
Hail Biafra

Waypoint1Biafra: I hear you my brother. Just tell "Chuck" whoever he is, that he is a man without a country. He can reinstate all the prodigal Alukos that he wants but he cannot stop Biafra from existence.

Thompson Buraimoh and the entire members of the panel of judges and Board of Trustees, Cyberworld Academy of Arts and Sciences,
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this honor done me. I am humbled by this recognition and I am sure that my parents would be proud of me (en fin) and my kids would have something to emulate from the fact that my peers found me worthy for mention in the categories of counsel and intellect. Why am I so effusive even when I have no plaque emblazoned with my name? The reasons are two-fold and both touch at the very essence of my being.
1. When I received the sacrament of Confirmation (Roman rites of the Catholic Church), the 7 seven gifts of the Holy Spirit (that using the Local Ordinary as a medium), I was supposed to have been imbued with are wisdom, understanding, right judgment, courage, knowledge, reverence, and holy fear in God's presence. I am glad that some odd 27 years later, my peers have deemed it fit to recognize that I am scoring high in all these. Without these 7 gifts, there would be no counsel and intellect, at least not in the real positive sense.
2. I am further humbled by the inclusiveness. My nomination may actually have been merely a gesture of inclusion. I would be the first to acknowledge that I have made but scant contributions to discourse these days but yet I am recognized. That’s what is lacking in Nigeria and what Biafra should be all about. Inclusion. I do not care to win (as in going home with a plaque or being in Obasanjo’s place) but I demand to be recognized as a citizen and to have my rights protected by the state to which I owe an allegiance. Me and mine have had utter exclusion as our lot in Nigeria. The list of the instances would be legion but I do not intend to spoil the festive mood. We are toasting to Biafra where we would all be included. That’s what this is all about.
And, when the Biafran ship anchors on the shores of the Treasure Island, I pledge not only to be an intellectual but also produce scholarly works worthy of an intellectual. You see, I couldn’t miss that implied chastisement. All in good spirit too.
Congrats to the worthy winners. Your commitments have been stupendous. Relish the accolades all you care now for they may not come that easily next time around.
Another insightful and enlightening piece. Unquestionably, despite your limited appearances, your contributions so far is significant. We want more of you and make sure you don't fail us.
Peace be unto you with the Biafran dream in place.

Thompson Buraimah. I am glad you spotted Uche_62 and myself hanging out at the bar talking. For the record, we weren't discussing marriage, rather, we were talking about the problem with Nigerian men who think that Nigerian women weren't good on bed.

Paul: I asked, "Where is Uche_62? What happened to her"? You replied, "Amanda: Let us know if you have a clue".
You know, there comes a time when "cheek in the tongue" rhetoric is inappropriate, and not funny, at all. Such is the case here. Please realize it and take it to heart.
Are you holding grudges against me? I do not think the rancor, if that's what it is, to be used against me. Obviously, it appears you have now found grounds to read meaning into whatever that I say. That's not the case, however. I have loved and enjoyed every part of your contribution in this forum; so, I do not know why you have suddenly made an about-face toward my contribution regarding the effectiveness of the said contract.
Talk to me; it is a struggle between you and I.

Paul, I have been a little too miffed at you today. Your later entries on the Polygamy thread from the Diaspora section was mighty provocative.
However, having read your latest entry there, I concede, and will bury the hatchet. Even as I write this, I have a tiny remnant of miffiness. Thankfully, its fast fading. I appreciate your olive branch. I've accepted it. Thanks.
This is what I like to see!! I was gonna send you PM's. I'm glad there is no further need.
"....Oh how good, oh how pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity....."
Paul and Amanda, I hope you'll dance to this music and I hope the remnant of the "mifiness" will fall off.

That's called shooting straight, justifiable or no is not the issue. At least you had the moral courage to say why you went on the war path. I salute that. Many I am sure were flummoxed. None we don't have to be anymore.

Although belated, I must express my profound gratitude for the Academy to have nominated me in four categories (Best Topic in a Drama, Best Socio-cultural topic, Best Newcomers and Best Thread starter) which indicates my presence was recognized even though I have not made any significant post--recalling Anu Nti for appreciating the kind gesture and observance of the Academy.
Good job, let's keep keeping on for the time is near and we shall overcome.

Just curious. What is going on between Amanda and Paul?

Ugali, Hmm... I know you'd want something to go on. However, I'm gonna disappoint you as nothing went on except minor sibling squabbling. You know how it goes...nothing serious. Cheers.
