Is this flattering or what? Listen to the dictator, armed robber and bigot who had failed in everything that he tried, save for opportunity and the barrels of the gun. He borrowed (stole millions of dollars) money to be a farmer. Yet no product of his farm featured in any Nigeria market. The question now is, who did Obasanjo's Ota Farm feed? I am no longer amazed that he continues to be clueless and ignorant.

As realities of the parlous state of the agricultural sector dawn on Nigerians, President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday, warned that food security may continue to elude the nation except Nigerians go back to the land.
Addressing a delegation of monarchs from Ota, in Ogun State, who visited him in Abuja yesterday, the president said it was imperative for Nigerians to accord agriculture top priority and stop depending on oil money.
He said that the Federal Government was doing everything possible to help farmers adding, "we will subsidise what we can subsidise. We will soon start a programme for the supply of seeds and seedlings."
The president said that the government would be able to help farmers who cultivated certain tree crops under this programme even as he reiterated that the country would only have food security if there were a massive revitalisation of farming and the agricultural sector.
The president urged members of the Ifo Traditional council, to go back to their domain and "preach the gospel of farming and agricultural production."
"The Federal Government is committed to making agriculture a dominant sector of the national economy once again," he added.
Obasanjo announced a three-day retreat for governors and state co-ordinators of the Poverty Eradication Programme, beginning from Friday. He stated that he would spend as much time as possible with participants at the retreat, to ensure those workable strategies were evolved to take the benefit of the programme to the grassroots.
The president further announced that the Federal Government had placed order for 4,000 additional transformers for NEPA to boost power supply nationwide.
He emphasised that when installed, the additional transformers would significantly improve power distribution by NEPA.
Obasanjo assured the Olu of Ifo, Oba Sowunmilola Oluomo and the delegation that with the installation of these additional transformers, all parts of the country would enjoy better power supply.
