From the scheme of things and recollecting the past of the wizard dribbling General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, in a poll conducted via the internet, was denounced and denied the presidency in the event 2003 presidential elections holds. This is quite interesting as Nigerians are beginning to understand whom to pick as their leader. For Babangida, it will be another error. -------------------------------------------- P.M. The dream of erstwhile military dictator, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd) to rule Nigeria for a second time appears to have suffered a setback as Nigerians roundly rejected him in an opinion poll conducted on the internet.
The poll was conducted by a group, Committee of Patriots, seeking to know from Nigerians via the internet if they will vote for IBB in the 2003 presidential election. Signed by Alhaji Shuaibu Badaggi, its Chairman, the committee's web page is on www.ibrahimbabangida.com.
The page titled: "Presidential Election 2003, IBB For President 2003", was designed with the Nigerian Coat of Arms, flanked by two portraits of the former military ruler. It also has the Nigerian flag. Beneath the pictures is a column designed to test Babangida's popularity. Web users were asked to indicate Yes or No against the candidature of Babangida for the 2003 Presidential Election.
According to the result of the poll, 60 per cent rejected Babangida, while only 36 per cent approved of him. The remaining 4 per cent were indifferent. By the result of the poll, Nigerians, it appears, have rejected the presidential bid of the former military head of state. Considering this low rating IBB recorded in the internet poll, political watchers believe he remains unpopular among Nigerians and has a long way to go if he is to win the 2003 elected.

First and foremost, Babangida, in all, shouldn't be part of the 2003 election discourse. It is not even necessary to talk about his mandate. Not really necessary!

Why is it a big deal? We all know Babangida has the necessary tools to turn things around especially when it comes to Nigeria polilitcs where most of the politicians are vulnereable and gullible. Don't be surprise he buys his way out to the presidency, come 2003. Besides, in the event Babangida is implicated, Obasanjo and the rest would be victims, too. In assumption os that said event, where would Nigeria be heading to?

Bature: If you believe in "democracy and the rule of law," a trademark you have instituted in this forum, knowing quite well that Babangida has more questions to answer; thus, his tenure as head-of-state coupled with his atrocities which infinitely was so, how then do you go about his mistakes toward and the total deenial that nothing went wrong in Nigeria?

ON IBB (EVIL GENUIS AND PRINCE OF THE NIGER) THIS ARE THE NAMES HE IS ALWAYS LIKED TO BE CALLED.
THESE TWO NAMES POINTS TO THE DEVIL HIMSELF.
SO, WHO WANT IBB AGAIN IN THIS COUNTRY? THOUGH BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT CACUS SET WE ARE HAVING. HE IS THE MAIN PART OF KING MAKERS IN NIGERIA WITH ALL HIS STOLLEN WEALTH, THE POLITICANS ARE PAYING HOMAGE TO HIM ALEADY IN MINNA. MY VENDOR DROPPED A MAGAZINE THAT SAID THAT AREMU HAS STEPPED DOWN FOR HIM.
LET US EXAMINE THE FACTORS WITHIN, WE CANNOT BE SAYING THAT WE DON'T WANT HIM. WE NEED TO GET INTO ACTION SIDE TO STOP HIM. BUT IF HE REMAINS UNSTOPPABLE, LET OODUA REPUBLIC EMERGE AND THAT'S MAKES IT EASIER FOR BIAFRAN REPUBLIC.
HERE ARE THE FACTORS:
1. HIS WEALTH 2. THE DISHONEST POLITICANS 3. POVERTY LEVEL 4. MOHAMMED BUHARI'S STATEMENT ON MOSLEM PRESIDENT 2003 5. NO NATIONAL ID CARD YET, SO COWS CAN STILL VOTE IN THE NORTH. 6. HE PLANTED OBASANJO, ONE GOOD TURN... 7. THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ARE FULL OF HIS BOYS BY CROOK OR OTHERWISE. 8. HE IS SMART THAT SO SOUTH - WEST CHAP ARE ALREADY CAMPAGINING HIM.
CAN YOU UNDERSTAND ARTHUR NZERIBE? HIS MONAC? AND ACTIVITIES.
WE ARE JUST WATCHING THEIR MOVEMENT, SO WE CAN ALERT STUDENTS AND OTHER YOUTHS. THERE IS NO FUTURE IN NIGERIA. OBASANJO'S GOVERNMENT IS ALREADY A CURSE TO NIGERIAN PEOPLE HOW MUCH MORE THE "MARADONNA".
THE BIAFRANS SHOULD NOT JOIN THE SOUTH-WEST TO FIGHT THIS, LET THEM CONTINUE.
AREMU PLACED THE "OFE MMANU'S" ALL THE STRATEGIC PLACES NOW. LET'S SEE IF THEY WILL LEAVE IT OUT FOR "MALLAMS".
LET'S NOT WASTE OUR TIME IN SOLVING THE NIGERIAN PROBLEM, WE NEED TO BE FREE FROM THIS FRAUD CALLED 'NIGERIA'.
SINCE THEY CHANGED THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IN 1979 BY THEN GEN. OBASANJO THINGS HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME.
REMEMBER THIS PHRASE IN THE ANTHEM. "THOU OUR TRIBE AND TONGUE MAY DIFFER BUT IN BROTHERHOOD WE STAND" TO " OUR HEROS PAST"
THE QUESTION NOW WHICH HEROS, THE ONES THAT SUCK THE BLOOD OF THE BIAFRANS (WIDOWS, ORPHANS, MOTHERLESS, FATHERLESS, HELPLESS PEOPLE). THAT ANTHEM GENERATES CURSE FOR THE FRAUD CALLED NIGERIA.
STOPPING IBB OR NOT IS NOT THE BIAFRA PRIORITY. ALL WE WANT IS TOTAL FREEDOM.
The "internet vote" is a farce. How many people Northerners even know what a computer looks like not to talk about voting on one be it an opinion poll, survey or what have you. You all know that the southweat stuffed/voted many times from different computers just to register their disgust for IBB and as a sign of support for their prodigal brother/son OO. I can say confidently that the East(Biafran) never even paid any mind that that exercise in futility.

Eby my brother, I am with you right there. Let's not concern ourselves with Nigeria and its curse, we are only concerned about Biafra Republic. The more the Awusa?Fulani group square off with the Yoruba connivers, the better for Biafra. Biafrans should never ever jump in to interfere with either side. Let them set their Nigeria on fire, while we quietly exit.
The education of the Biafrans about their rights, the causes for their desolate conditions, and how to come out of it, is the thing the Biafrans should concern themselves with. Knowledge is the power between continuing bondage and freedom, retrogression and prosperity; and between life and death.
Again, those Biafrans who reside and make investments in those Nigerian hostile territories should start (if they haven't already) relocating their investments to Biafra. Biafra is a market unto itself. Let no one be caught unawares. The signs of time is at hand.

Amanda and Eby: I salute you. First, why is Babangida still a case in Nigeria politics? After all that he did in destroying the country, ain't it amazing he continues to make headlines when under normal circumstances, he is suppose to be standing trial for his nefarious regime.
I mean, here is a criminal and murderer of scores of innocent citizens who cannot be querried about his era of atrocities. And he is being talked about becoming a president in a democratic set-up. Why are Nigerians not seeing the true picture?
Before Babangida is considered president, would he be made to truthfull tell Nigerians the mysterious circumstances on the murder of Dele Giwa, Newswatch founding member? Would he tell the nation about his drug smmugling network that made Lagos world's number one transit in narcotics trafficking? Would he tell Nigerians what happenned from the proceeds of oil during the Gulf War?
When we mention Babangida or consider him as a potential to 2003, it means we do not believe in democracy which as well could be understood why Obasanjo is president.

Bature No offence, but I think u need to checkin yourself in Psychiatric Hospitals because I think u are mentally challenged.
Igbos and their fellow Easterners are not worried about IBB at all. We all know that whether he comes to power or not it doesn't concern us. We are interested in the actualization of Biafra not IBB for 2003. That battle will be between Arewa and Odua Republic.
Eby I don't understand why Igbos and other easterners are still living in that hostile territory called arewa republic. Even my own father's half brother is still staying over there doing his business. They pack up and go back to Biafra before 2003.

Odili: My good guess is, you are equally mentally disturbed since it doesn't occur to you that your empy threats would lead you nowhere. If you aren't concerned about IBB and the Nigeria state, why then are you perturbeb about Obasanjo's inept, corrupt regime?

Bature Do you sometimes treally mean what you write or are you just using this just to shoot the breeze. Although sometimes you allow your pro North views cloud your whole points. You amuze me sometimes, granted you are right about IBB's ability to manipulate things, unfortunately that will only work in Nigeria. If Biafra is actualized people like I IBB will be in jail.

Bature You must be fool. I am pertubed about Obasanjo because our people in the East are the ones suffering. You must be a big oaf to say that I am like u. I am not like u at all. There's a big difference between Bature and Odili. You are a retarded Northerner who should be more worried about going back home to educate your foolish people who are out there figting around with their neighbors. I thought the North was united. The spirit of Biafra is having her sweet revenge and that's why u fools in the North are fighting. Why don't u go and teach those devilish sons of satans in the North that they don't have to use violence every time to solve their problems but u are so uneducated and ignorant u must use violence. Bature this is 2001 not the 1800's when people relied on violence to solve their problems. Well the tivs are now getting their own punishment from God. The next time it will be all the crazy minorities in the north fighting the Awusa crooks. Your greedy leaders have turned your people into beggers who cannot take care of themselves. Your people are so backward that only a bottle of water and a small loaf of bread will send them rampaging the streets, looking for innocent christians to slaughter. I don't think u know anything about democracy and that's why u want IBB to come back. Well that's your business not mine. Whether the disgraced bandit comes back or not it is not our business. I expect u to have changed a little bit since u are now in America but that primitive norhern blood of yours is so strong and evil that u cannot be changed at all. People like u are the dark forces that drove many Biafrans back to their native homes but the dark forces came back to drag them back into your corrupt society filled with thugs and idiots who do not deserve anything good. You bandits from the North wanted us to stay because ofour oil. The second we will leave come and get us and God will punish you. There no more oil for u steal. When Biafra is done with you, you will lose 3 million lives from hunger just like u did to us. It is God that will blockade your land. When Biafra is finally actualized you'll turn on yourselves and eat each other. Sometimes I wonder whether you people use human meat to make your Suya. May be that's why slaughter people everyday. Odili: If we use human meat to make the delicious suya, I am quite sure you must have tasted it at Shagamu on your way to Lagos or on your way from Lagos to Ogbete market where the distribution takes place. There's nothing like speaking from experience and that's what you just did.

Bamidele: Not because the issue is IBB. Man listen to this Igbo adage "Ogbu nma na ana n' nma". that is for Abiola. He was involved in all the coups in Nigeria apart from 1966 uprising. The law of Karma sorted him out to the grave.
Abiola is very greedy, he stole money fron Biafra as ITT "International Thief Thief" . his brother called him that not me. How can he rule with how many wives? .
If it has been a Biafran that won, will he fight? The man was a greedy man. And the woman that was browing trumpet for him died with him in the same cause.
God is wonderful. If your case against IBB is that, I will tell you that IBB has not done anything. The Awo's tribalism is worse that the June 12 undeclared winner. Who declared Abiola winner Ogun State Radio? IBB still remain Biafran in-law, he needs are protection because of our sister. "Ogo bu Chi onye".
Keep off on that, after Aremu which of the "Ofe mmanu" man do you think that can win? Even if they cry in all the newspapers like before.
You have no point here. The military made Abiola and they destroyed him. No case.
You said civil war? Will 'owa-mbe' allow a Yoruba man go into war? The cocoayam leaves of Nigeria. You see God is not partial that why things are like this so that the African Jews (Biafrans) will learn. For 400yrs the Jews where in Egypt, they were persecuted all over Europe. Our own is not strange. "WE ARE THE SALT OF AFRICA". When we get Biafra we will be for the world. We are everywhere and making things happen. Start linking your boat because Aremu's head is empty. _________________________ Biafra Forever.
