Look Odua Republic is already a doomed republic. For the Hausa/Fulani minority to be incontrol of Illorin and even trying to take over Ibadan tells me that the Oduas are in big trouble. Big time. Their numerical advantage won't even make a difference. It's about time that we start calling Odua republic, Arewa Republic. The so called owners of Lagos the Yorubas are already forced to pay levies by the Hausas. Ketu is already owned by the Hausas. The last time that the coward and criminal OPC clashed with their Northern masters and they couldn't eject them. After that the Hausas started claiming that they were the owners of Lagos. THEY'VE DEFEATED THE oDUAS AND ARE NOW CLAIMING OWNERSHIP OF LAGOS. One of the cattle rearers even claimed that his own father but many of the lands in Lagos around 19 something. Let them try it in the East. Posts: 615 | From: Houston, Texas | Registered: Jun 2001

The Arewa ppl are rearing to go. This one will be very interesting with the yoruba jagonmolu(war commander) aremu in power. I don't know what they are wasting time for. They should hurry up like the Tivs and give us some action. At least Gani Adams should start by eliminating the hausa fulani emir. Let mortal combat begin!

Postexpresswired Category: News Date of Article: 08/07/2001 Topic: Saraki Leads Anti-OPC Team to North
Author: Tunde Sanni,Ilorin Full Text of Article: Strongman of Kwara politics, Dr. Olushola Saraki, said at the weekend that he would lead a seven-man delegation to all the Northern states to sensitise them against the threat of invasion of the state by the militant Yoruba ethnic group, the Oodua People's Congress (OPC). Saraki's disclosure came on the heels of rumours around the Kwara State capital that the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has risen to the challenge of the OPC by allegedly recruiting 5,000 militants for the Arewa Peoples Congress (APC). It could not, however, be confirmed the other members of Saraki's seven-team, but the name of a former Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Muhammed Dikko Yusuf, was mentioned. Yusuf, it was gathered, is to lead another four-man ACF delegation to Ilorin for consultation with some eminent personalities which included the Emir, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and some of his chiefs, apparently to prepare the ground for the alleged newly recruited APC members. The APP chieftain told his ardent supporters that he would lead the delegation to intimate Northern power brokers that Kwara State has nothing to do with OPC. As the ACF girds its loins by recruiting 5,000 men to counter the OPC impending invasion, heavy security presence is now noticed in the state capital. Reminiscent of the October 14, 2000 action, the police now guard all entry points to Ilorin with their armoured tanks to ensure that the ethnic militia does not gain entry. It was gathered that vehicles coming into Ilorin, especially from Ganmo, were thoroughly searched while commuters too were screened. The vicinity of the palace of Emir of Ilorin was with heavy presence while posters denouncing the OPC invasion were pasted round the town. The state Coordinator of the OPC, Mr. Bayo Ifabiyi, who confirmed the searching of vehicles and commuters to our correspondent stated that the search was just cosmetic. "It is true that they are now searching everything. Even I was searched but what did they find on me, nothing. Ifabiyi in a circulated press statement titled "Let My People Go" reiterated that Obaship in Ilorin is a foregone conclusion. "We appeal to all sons and daughters of Yoruba in all ramifications to be more determined in this struggle to liberate our people from the shackles of economic subjugation that has affect our people for so long. He added, "we have to struggle to fight for a just cause, we must work together in unison to reclaim our father's land from the tenacious grip of foreign and local exploiters."

I want to suggest a thing or two for the Oduduwa people. Hire some Biafrans as mercinaries to make the invasion more exciting. Just the thought of it [Biafran Soldier]will make the Arewa strike a deal. Hail Biafra Posts: 1672 | From: Minnesota USA | Registered: Mar 2001

Yeye people. They will pretend not to notice that the news is suffused with the Israelis making the UN release the tapes related to the abduction of their soldiers in Lebanon. And of course, they can't draw any parallel between that and getting Kofi Anan to say what he knew or at least saw about Abiola's death. Dem no get liver. Shout, shout, and end up with the mouth agape. Typical ofe nmanu - slaves in their own land.

Waypoint 1, I love your suggestion a lot. The "Biafran soldiers" worth recommending and enlisting are: Ednut, Ikpatt, Colo, Rudolph, Steve Nwabuzor, Onuegbe, Sam, and the whole lot of our "one Nigeriana" Biafrans. What a wonderful "southern solidarity" fire crackers to behold!
Odili, You got me cracking up real bad. It's been ages since I heard the word, "iti boribo" spoken.
Folanke, I hope you are harkening to the SOS pleas of your Odua warrior, Ifabiyi. For the aftermath of this imminent showdown b/w Oduas and Arewas, will surely make you wish you were not a Yoruba woman. Better prepare for your purddah life as the tenth wife of the gworo-eating Mallam. Oduas have blinked already. Was is not your Saraki who disowned Odua before the Arewas?

With the latest OPC drama too fresh in our minds, the conversion of the Odua republic to sharia republic is a done deal. 2003 is quite far. The jihardists will yet use Obasanjo to accomplish their shariarization of the entire Oduduwa land without a wimper from the Oduas. Afterall, Obasanjo's back is already on the ground. How far down can he possibly fall? He has nothing to lose.
At the rate Obasanjo is selling out his own people and carrying out Hausa/Fulani agenda, he wouldn't mind converting to islam. Afterall, he has dabbled with Ifa religion, currently a christian "born again" which doesn't seem to be going down well for him...considering his Odi, Kaduna, and Okigwe massacres. Converting to islam can't be bad. Look at all the women and money Abiola got for being a moslem.

Amanda amanda, I pity the yeye Oduas who are worried about Biafra when Sharia is fast capturing their lands like wild raging infernor. Yeye slaves in their own land. The Odua republic has already been conqured. Some those so called hausa lands were owned by the Yorubas befoer but ones the bloodsucking vampires came the Oduas packed their bags and fled like chickens which they are. HALF CHAMELEONS HALF CHICKENS. CHAMELEONIC CHICKENS. What a wonderful combination.
Benin Republic will be their next target.
Bamidele, Foolanke, I pity u people. Wait for your limbs and arms to be amputated.
Tears, tears, tears, tears, tears. Oh my goodness.

Bature, The picture of your Nigeria is NOTHING BUT A BIG FRAUD. Ohananeze, afenifere, are representing no one but their selfish individual selves. so please shut your damn mouth up.
These group will be swept away like hurricane when time is up. No man in his right sense will play a second fiddle in this day age. The clock is fast ticking for an end to this hopelessness in BiafraNigeria.
I guess it takes some doing fathoming the workings of a mentally challenged cattle rearer's mind. Was your clueless posting in response to mine of the 7th instant?
