Forumites,

This thread is dedicated to the owner(s) of BiafraNigeriaWorld. The webmaster, Administrator & Technical crew.

Firstly, let me start by expressing my profound and heartfelt gratitude for the effort, time and financial resources that you've put and continue to put in to keep this site afloat.

I also noticed recently that you've provided links to Biafranigerian newspapers and other important news sites. Please accept my congratulations on this milestone.

The love and altruistic sacrifice that motivated the founding of this wonderful board is simply stupendous. It is delightful to note that those twin towers of altruism and love, contagious as they are, have come to be the hall mark of the true and regular participants in this board.

Two days ago, I had the opportunity to browse through some of the earlier transactions when the board was still in infancy. I saw a letter (unedited) which was a threat of a legal action directed at the the owner(s) of this board. My heart melted as I read the offer by our attorney sister Adaeze to take up the case, and another two brothers who offered to share the financial burden of a possible legal action. Considering that they hadn't been to "Atlanta" or the "prelude", I thought that was remarkable.

I have since seen that repeated when the incoherent and misguided Tiv handle started musing on a "law suit" after his 'maybe'ID parade et al. And lately, in my esteemed friend and counsellor Amanda renouncing her membership of a forum in solidarity to those that have been wronged. For me a Biafran, I'm chauffed because that is the original Biafran identity: "Onye aghala nwanne ya" which was why there was NO beggar in Biafra land before the civil war and why inspite of all we've been through, wealth is still more wide-spread among the Igbos than any other nation in Biafranigeria.

Again, I also like this place because of the freedom of expression that it guarantees to forumites of all walks of life regardless of personal creed, doctrine and persuasion. This is the only institution with the word Nigeria attached to it where I have seen Biafrans confidently and consistently express themselves without let or hindrance over an appreciable period of time. some years back when I worked for a multinational Co in Biafranigeria, I had cause on one occasion to give an awusa 'oga' a piece of my mind as you sometimes do. My Biafran brother who was part of the round table stretched his leg underneath the table to make contact with mine which was a signal I'm sure you understand. Of course that encounter marked the beginning of the process of leaving the set-up. I hate fetters and shackles.

I'll leave you with the last two stanzas of Sinatra's "My way":

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now as tears subside
I find it all so amusing
To think i did all that
And may I say not in a shy way
Oh no, oh no, not me
I did it my way

For what is a man, what has he got
If not himself then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels
And not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows
And did it my way
Yes, it was my way!

Ladies & Gentlemen, I hope you'll all join me in thanking the movers and shakers of this board by telling us ...why you like this place
Stay blessed & have a terrific weekend!

OU
Biafran

It's been wonderfull knowing this board. My profound gratitude to the board master and it's participant.Let's keep hope alive, because having just returned from BiafraNigeria I can tell you that the futur is very bleak as the continued existence of whole generations is being threatend by disease and strife.

I urge a visit home for the silly apostles of Aremu and all those who continue to hallucinate about some miraculous recovery of BiafraNigeria. Folks it may be too late for our generation to see a meaningfull existence as the decay is beyond description, but we may now owe this struggle to our children.God bless you all.

Chiboy,

Welcome back my brother. I'm sure when you wind down you'll visit the other section with a low-down.
Take heart my brother. I just missed the opportunity to ask you to get us the contact of the friendly newspapers so that we can further our campaign like the kaduna trust(what an oxymoron huh?) and oduduwa people are doing. Since our journalists have refused to do it, it will still have to be done.
The world must hear.

Once again welcome and hope you brought "mouth organ" and ube to match.(lol)

Thanks for the welcome, I will endeavour to write about my visit and the general state of BiafraNigeria. My brother the task ahead is daunting. The problem has become hydra headed and it's every man for himself in Biafraland. The belief is if you make it (however that is achieved) then all will be well with you and your family, hence the shamelessness you see among the Igbo elite.

As for the friendly papers I brought a copy or two and as I unwind I will gladly share.

Forumites, more grease to all your elbows, you are changing people's lives with this forum.

I have a friend from Western nigeria who could not go to sleep one night, after reading what his father and friends did to Biafrans. He was never told!!

But he read it on this site, and other related sites.

Thanks for mentioning my precious name Waypoint 1 Biafra. My unsatisfiable quench to actualize my dream...Biafra

I have said it before and will say it again. This link is where the Biafran sun rises and the Eagles fly without perching. What we have always believed is our inalienable right for free exercise thereof. The right to be heard and speak freely without being shut down. That is one of the reasons why I fancy this link. The other is the comfort I get from real folks, the Biafrans, and the discomfort from the Oduduwa as flip flop tribe and the Arewa who are committed to One Nigeria. However, I'm still committed to separate but equal despite my business with the Oduduwas and the Arewas.

Hail Biafra

Ohafia,
Good job. I share in your delight and honor for the administrator(s) of this great board in their steadfastedness in upholding and maintaining this board and its policies.

This unique policy of no censorship (and rightly with exceptions) has set this board apart from any other message board or site that cater to the affairs of Ndigbo, Biafrans, Nigerians, and Africans in general.
Because of the freedom of speech and unfettered access to this board, dissenting and assenting minds from Biafrans and Nigerians alike have rubbed together, opinions and ideas extensively and successfully. Each time, we came up learning and dispelling ideas about one another which ordinarily would have remained unexplored and unchallenged.

This trail that the board Adiminstrator(s) have blazed is an excellent attestation of "Leadership by example" which we, the new Biafrans are thirsting for. It is that which bouys us to fervently agitate for a new Biafra Republic where we can freely and demonstratively display and utilize our various talents and skills, unmolested and un-repressed.

Let me also commend my fellow forumites on this great board for their unwavering contributions borne out of the assurance that their opinions will be allowed to be expressed and heard without fear, intimidations, or censorship. Thus, you were all able to express yourselves, freely, happily, and extensively. We also acknowledge that no matter how fiercely we disagree with one another, in the end, we temper these disagreements with courteous camarederie.

Therefore, let us guard our loincloths and continue as we have been, inspite of jealous distractions by Nigeriaworld. Success comes with envy and nothing good comes easy.

Ohafia,

Why I like it here? You kidding me? This is home, man. This is FAMILY, ndi nze n'ozo, village square, town hall, palm wine / beer parlor, school, archive, museum, ahia mgbede, etc. all rolled into one. Where else would you get the forthrightness, the no-holds barred posture, the incisive dissection of issues, etc.? Where else is as prolific? Where else do you have as divergent an opinion base, this much tolerance and accommodation? No other place, man. Those and many more are why I like it here. It’s the place to be, the rush, the adrenaline surge, the sheer energy and commitment. Those are unrivalled.

Reminds one of the Flying Antelopes, The Indomitable Enugu Rangers International after the failed attempt at the annihilation of Ndigbo. After a good day on this forum, I get the same exhilarating feeling tinged with a bit of everything: fever, headache, release, light headedness, euphoria, gratitude etc. that suffused my old man, my brothers and I after Dominic Nwobodo and co. had done their usual magic. Boy, do I cherish those and how I look forward to the return of those days of glory!

To give honor to whom it is due, as distinct from the charlatans and carpetbaggers, I join OU in saluting the ingenuity and unmitigated patriotism of the owner(s) of this board.

Ifeanyi, I'm humbled, but this place has metamorphosed into the place to be, thanks to us all. It couldn’t have been without the concerted efforts of us all. As usual, we have become the envy of the rest to the extent that they are now manufacturing Igbo Ph.D.’s to counter the momentum here. Odi egwu, really!

Anu Nti,

Methinks you type your postings in MS word, cross your T's and dot your I's and after going through your punctuations, you'll then copy and paste. Please don't tell me you ejaculate grammer just like that. Mba, don't tell me that.

BTW, is it true that Dominic Nwobodo once hit the ball so hard that it tore through the net? I remember an occasion where he had to play with a bandaged head which made people call him "Alhaji" because it looked like awusa turban.

Honestly, I cherish all of you my siblings. There is indeed a certain buzz about this place. I'll never forget the day the Tiv jungle man showed up here and ran into a heck of fire-power which made even a stubborn Tiv to scurry back into his hole at egbeOmo.com.

Seun, Wale, Obaseki, onabanjo, Ade, Funmi and all soldiers of principle, equity and justice, please, accept my appreciations for your insightful contributions in this board. You've made the life of this humble Engineer a lot more exciting and richer.

And to our Attorney Adaeze, you make me/us "possible". And Joy???, you're one in a kind. You had the wonderful insight to see through the facade of the impostor and egbeomo.com activist parading as an Igbo Reporter from the word go.

As for Damian, I think he first of all pumps iron and then psyche himself up before taking up the pen to write. He writes with fury and uncanny forthrightness. I'd hate to be at the receiving end. No way!

And Biafra and waypoint1;, there names say it all. They're so single-hearted, it makes you blush. Don't forget Biafra is a mobile encyclopaedia on music of the 70s and 80s!

ICO, Amucha & Paul: These have perfected the art of pungent, concise and incisive one or few liners. And they do inflict a lotta damage as mallam Bature would attest.

As for osetutu our man from down-under, he is simply an inventor. Apart from the N recommendation, he has since come up with the "ota pia pia".

Wind is a tornado that will blow the fulani oligarchy away--he loves Orkar and co a lot!

Odili(the real one), Eby, Patrick, Jude, Nwokeoma, ojukwu, kabaka, Vitalis, Ojoto, Ambrose, Dr B,and Ben are all tried and tested warriors. God help you if you get on the wrong side of them. They shoot straight!

Enobong and TB are multi-talented artists who bring so much creativity to this board. Another thing, don't mention Enobong to Ikpatt (Aremu's errand boy)!

Ejiofor and Ukaoha are the voices of balance and reason. We couldn't go wrong with them aboard!

As for Amanda our lady B...coughs..coughs.

Aure voir!

For all the encomiums, I thank you.

Dominic Nwobodo is legendary. Your narrative may well have been the case. What I know is that he continued to play even after the combined effects of his motorcycle accident and bad orthopedic facilities had rendered one leg shorter than the other. In any case, mentioning him alone was not to trifle the roles of the likes of Dominic Ezeani, Kendo Ilodigwe (who had to be flown in from the US to make sure that Mehala saw Wahala), Damian Odo, Harrison Mecha, Johnny Egbonu, Ogidi Ibeabuchi (RIP), Christian Madu, Emeka Onyedika (and brother Ifeanyi), Chairman Christian Chukwu, Aloy Atuegbu (and brother Christian of Mighty Jets), Ernest Ufele, the one million naira goalie Emma Okala (and brother Patrick, RIP), etc. etc. Those are men and they made us walk with our heads held high.

And the combined team of Ernest Okoronkwo (RIP) and Sebastian Ofurum made sure that we heard it as it was. Bless them all. Those were icons. How we huddled around my old man’s Pye Radio and strained on every word from those gems. How else would we have learnt about ICB (Intercontinental ballistic missile) etc.? Never mind that they couldn’t forgive Godwin Odiye!

As per okwu bekee, nwa nna, hapu ihe edere na moto, banye na moto, you hear? But not if it bears Laa n'udo and its a Friday. That would too much of a coincidence.

Mais, parlez-vous francaise aussi? Abientot!

Folks,

Those pictures that welcome one to Nigeriaworld.com, hm, na wa oh! I recognize Wole Soyinka, Onyeka Onwenu, Kanu Nwankwo. Somebody, please assure me that one of the rest is not the devil incarnate, Sani Abacha, starring back at me, please, please.

If indeed that were the case, then why the heck are folks talking about censorship? If Orji Uzo Kalu closes all the schools in Abia State for as long as he is in Umuahia, would any one be surprised considering what Jubril Aminu is to him?

OU, one of the multitude of reasons why I like it here. Oiste?

Osetutu my bro
I'll like to say thank u for your own compliments. Thanks very much. People shouldn't worry about all these anti Biafrans in this forum. Biafra will be actualised and it will be a big dirty slap in their faces.

Guys,
I'll like to congratulate everyone for the efforts that they have been making in keeping this board alive. This board is not as old as Egbeomoduduwa but look at what we have accomplished in such a short time. THE ONE Nigerians keep on coming spewing their usual trash but that hasn't stopped us believing in Biafra. That is the true attitude of Biafrans who believe in freedom, self determination, prosperity, etc. Amanda (Queen of Biafra), Osetutu, Paul Ibekwe, Ohafia, Enobong Umuoren, Chima, Chiboy, Joy, Wind, Biafra, L.Akpan Waypoint and everybody, thanks for your contributions to forum, u all are important in this forum. Keep it up.

As for the one Nigerians and our confused Eastern brothers, get some one to congratulate u. I'll congratulate u people when we actualise Biafra. Your Nigeria is cursed.

Ednut,
If u want to congratulate the One Nigerians for the so called One Nigeria syrup and Juju they have been making to bring out Nigeria out of her sorry cursed state u can go ahead . This board has been made for Biafrans and Nigerians so the Nigerians can congratulate their fellow confused Nigerians. Biafra has cursed Nigeria kpomkwem

I'll like to thank the Board master and the people who helped build up this forum. U have done what others wouldn't have been able to do for the Biafrans. This forum is the best. The freedom of speech is one thing that makes this forum better than the rest. Both Biafrans and Nigerians are allowed to make their opinions without any problem.

Just imagine what the physical Biafra will be when it is actualised. This is a very democratic forum unlike Egbeomoduduwa.com.

I hear u. Thanks u very much. Whoever thinks that the struggle for Biafra is a lost cause is confused and needs help. (spiritually, mentally, etc) The 3 million that died, died for our freedom (we must remember them).
Were we created to be slaves in Nigeria?
Wa (mba).
We are too smart to be traeted like slaves. BIAFRA will be victotrious.

Odili,
You are the "bomb" and the beamer of the Biafran light. Thanks. I'm well pleased. Please keep it up.

OU,
Appreciated.

Ednut,
Odili answered you very precisely.
If you need praise for being a one Nigeriana sell out, petition Chuck Odili at his onenigeriana.com AKA egbeomoduduwa.com. I'm sure he'd be impressed. While you're at it, try gamji.com.

All,
Your unwavering support for Biafra Republic is a gleeful joy and is appreciated. Let's continue to perform our ritualistic sacrifice so that the guilt remains with the spirits.
