>>As for coziness, I'm surrounded by it (lol).<<

Not the impression I get from the TV or from bro Nkem Ejiofor's account!

Another thing, How the heck am I gonna muster the financial resources to fund my trip? (lesson 101 in 419)

Paul,

Thanks. You're a gentleman. I look forward to reading your poems.

Mandy,

"Mberegede nyiri dike" That's why I dread surprises. A guy I know once told me a story about a guy he knows(lol) This guy had meant to surprise his girl with a visit, but he was surprised when he walked into the room and beheld two pairs of jointed lower appendages sticking out through the duvet.

I'm told he still hears the sound he heard that day everyhwere he goes. poor man!
Don't worry, there aint gonna be no surprises except my midgety frame. I'm actually shorter than 5'2"!

Who will pay for my flight????

I've never been to america
I'd like to be in america
Everything is in america...etc etc

Forget about flying. Didn't you say you'd swim the ocean? (Lol)!!!

Swim the Atlantic, huh?

That one na poem O, we're back to the real world and like mallam bature said you can't take love to the market and buy things with it.

"I know say i don't enter trouble be that."

"please my sister Amanda reason with me, don't be angry"

PS: As per the sound, since she is a Brit, my guess is that it must've been the national anthem "God save the queen". You have any other idea?

Hmm....I see you're not impressed by the mysteriously romantic ocean. In that case, let the good Mallam Bature usher in the donkeys. Remember, do not look the gifted donkey on the mouth.

Anu Nti,

It's well past midnight here and you're making me laugh so hard.

That bit on reparation is very funny. Actually, I know a Ghanain chap who's been going round and putting oyibo girls in the family way. his argument is that the British government should use the money they stole from africa to maintain the mums and the many kids. he's quite passionate and missionate(sic) about it. The problem is when he does some other bad things, he'll claim Biafranigerian nationality.

About Jandon and credit card, I'll pass the question to the our Yoruba brethren as yoruba is the lingua franca at areas such as Peckham and Brixton. The annoying thing is that they spend the money on "naira" spray at the useless owambe parties. Infact now the in-thing is to spray the weaker dollars which they could exchange at the rate of 1:1. And all these are inhabitants of council flats(project for you guys)!

I can't remember saying I'm a war dancer as you need a decent chest to 'do it', but the other vital statistics are "true" mandy says she's more concerned with the inner beauty which you're now trying to raise doubts on. Abeg no put sand for my garri O!

Fleece is a very strong language and my sensitive British sensibility cringeth! Our people like to say that if the first born doesn't have money for the father's burial, then the younger ones who have should 'do something' since it is not the first born that killed the papa. I think Mandy actually feels quite happy that I'm liberal and humble enough to ask

Chei! I need to crash as I should be up in the next 5hrs. Good night America.

OU,

God forbid bad thing! Put sand-sand for your gari? Afraid no let me do that one. In any case, e fit you and Lady Mandy. From what I have seen, im hand fit be araldite, and justifiably so, mind you.

Ndi ofe nmanu dey useless. I no see wetin dem dey see for all the miliki. Yeye people, even for their home towns kpakpa, inspite of all the control they have wielded over corporate Nigeria, what have they got to show for it? Yoruba man dey earn 10 dollars but im go claim say na 1,000. See how different we are. The more justification for your tents, O Israel.

Anu Nti,
I hear you o. However, my "financially challenged and midgety" OU need to conserve all the energy he can muster. Since I'm hosting him, I doubt he'd ever want to go back to that empire where the sun never shines. Therefore, I believe he deserve to fly the "concorde", first class.

Dear forumites,

The reason why this board has recorded such giant strides in a very short space of time is its tenacious and unfettered crave for truth. The Bible teaches: " ... and they shall know the truth and it shall set them free". Our elders also teach that "Eziokwu bu Ndu".
My simple advise to the administrators of this forum is to make the pursuit of truth and justice the unbending and uncompromising principle of her being; Then it will certainly be guaranteed that this forum will always bubble with "Life" or "Ndu" according to our Elders.

Ohafia, Dr. B,

Folks,

I just sneaked in to have a wee anonymous peek and there was OU's posting suggesting I was keeping this elavation kinda low key (may be to avoid shacking you guys). I never realized it, folks. But thanks to each and everyone of you for making it happen. It takes 2 to tango, they say. One makes postings in response to other exciting posts. Man dey craze small, small but e never reach to dey soliloquize.

Mandy,
I hear you. I have my ears glued to the ground. Me, I dey like gist well, well!

Lady Mandy,

Just as well that I had thought about OU's insinuation. I knew you'd be in tandem with him. Never mind sha, me I no dey begrudge my guys the opportunity to get pleasantly tipsy.

But magarita, no, I can do better than that. For that, anyone can cross over to the Mexican border (as GW and I hear the twins are wont to do). The main ingredient is tequila and for the rest, one has some really wide berth to improvise. I will get you some EZIKE-OBA, the real thing, undiluted. The way things are going, some one is going to have a job in hand pretty soon. And he would have the privelege of downing the dregs.

Odili,

Thanks, my brother.

OU,

Welcome back from work. Hope you had a good day. As for me, I'm deep up to my neck in it: 2 presentations 'morrow. Anyway, nothing spoil.

Sue me kee? Before you use a certain part of the male homo sapiens' pysiognomy to terrify an old woman, you should first determine what aged her so. Make you chill a-beg. Now that I am aspiring to get those stars also, though it appears that I goofed in that regard ab inicio!

Is it not our forebears' ardent wishes that we get to have "a job in hand"?

Anu Nti,

The qaulity of your posts has deteriorated O.

I hope your presentations go well. I had a so-so day. It's all doom and gloom in the hiteck biz and like they say, when yankeeland sneezes, the rest of us will catch cold.

Adios!
