Biafra Nigerians,

Six months ago, this message board was born. Sinve inception, it has thrived, gained an unshakeable foot-hold and has succeeded beyond the norm. Biafranigeria forum, thru it's existence, has offered hope, freedom, feeling of self worth, and soothing respite to board members and non-board members, alike. The saying that "success is the best revenge" couldn't have been truer, especially to our boardmembers who were banned and deprived of freedom of expression at Nigeriaworld.com.

As we witness the repressive tyranny and gag measures employed by the increasingly paranoid Chuck Odili tomurder freedom of opinions and expression of ideas at egbeomoduduwa.com, we remain immensely grateful and privileged for our free and unfettered access, contribution, and speech here at BiafraNigeria (BN) board.

We've debated with vigor, both in opposition and acquiescence, in anger and in joy, to our individual/collective satisfaction or dissatisfaction. In the end, we have been able to move on (with our wits intact) to never-ending debatable issues.
We have squabbled and bickered like siblings under the same roof, yet, remarkably, the greatest majority of us hardly know each other. Expectedly and understandably, we've stepped on each other's toes and ruffled some few feathers. There could be a great opportunity for soothing and mending.

The one year anniversary of this great board is coming up in March 2002. I believe it will be most wonderful for us to gather and celebrate the successful anniversary of freedom of speech for Biafrans and Nigerians in cyberland. Speaking for myself, I'm very much looking forward to meeting many, if not all, of you (my fellow forumites) in six months (March 2002). I'm looking forward to wringing Ikpatt's ears and waltzing our reclusive Bature off his Islamic feet.

So I ask you, (1) would you look forward attending a future get together, in celebration of BN'S one year anniversary?
(2) If so, where do you think the venue should be? (3) How should we celebrate our anniversary?

Bamidele,

This (one) BiafraNigeria world anniversary get together will be in a league of its own. Every board member is entitled to holding on to his her pen handle(s) and don't have to reveal their true names, if they choose.
The atmosphere should be that of relaxed camaraderie. Lest you forget, we are not seeking any "Nigerian leadership Fellowship." Hahahaha!

I would have supported this idea if only is going to be for Biafrans only. I am not sure if I am ready to mingle with some enemies of Biafra and some Igbo efulefu's. Sister Amanda regardless is a very good idea a way to pay tribute to the founders of this magnificient Board.

It looks like I will be busy that day, according to my calender.

Biafra,

Don't you think that you will be needing our resident journalist to cover this event?

Good idea. Let's start the planning. Pick a location, decide some issues, and go from from there. Let's not repeat the mistakes of the Atlanta Owambe.

Paul,
thanks for the concern. I dey Ojare! I was very busy planning to give Obusonjo! a good reception here in Australia as I previously promised but it looks like the conference here might be cancelled....unfortunately..

Since he will be in Washington instead, I trust you guys will make sure he gets a good reception.

Somebody should send a journalist to ask him about the Terrorists in the North and also ask him about Biafra. Just any question to guarantee that he embarrasses himself again!! pls somebody..

All Please Note:

Just before somebody jumps in and starts to accuse the administrators of this site.

For clarity sake!

It should be clear to those who don't know much about the web technology, that anybody can create those links that Yvette just published.

Brother Osetutu Thank you, for clearing that point. Plus the owner of those site in that link will probably like to see some traffic their way, knowing fully how much traffic this site generate.

My take is, it sounds very much like someone is trying to set Biafranigeriaworld up. They have made a very big mistake. Biafra is alive and well. It is just a matter of time.

The question is, why have you Biafrans decided to post BiafraNigeriaWorld link on a Hausa site? This is a provocation. Mr. Biafra is talking rubbish because I know that Gamji.com is not responsible for putting that link at Hausanet.net.

Pray, tell. How did you arrive at the conclusion that HausaNet is a "Hausa site?"

Adamu

This thread is about a BiafraNigeriaWorld anniversary, I hope you are not trying to disrupt the thread.

If you have a problem with the link on Hausa Net tell your boardmaster to remove it, if it stays unremoved then either he likes it being there or knows something about it's origin. So take your complaint to Gamji.com.

Great idea Amanda, I insist people use their real name. This is a free country, given the events of of September 11 and the fight to keep our way of life, its almost an insult to say people should hide who they are in celebrating freedom of speech.

If you do, you would have dishonored the millions of life sacrifised so that you and I are able to freely express ourselves for the past year. God bless the free world, God bless America.

Just Post the Where, When, and What, I will be there! Save a dance for me too!

Biafranigeriaworld forums's one year anniversary is now around the corner and how do you extremists go about this as earlier suggested by Amanda? Would this be another picnic as we saw in the egbeomooduduwa.coms's Atlanata beer parlor talks? You all should be real.
