In this thread I ask the audience to site specifically what they deem as important. Hopefully we can later amass these opinions for presentation in a booklet form. thanks,

Long live Biafra, freedom and justice for all.

" As for you my sweet Biafra, you are set in timelessness; you begin at infinity, and you end at infinity."

And there shall come shouts of VICTORY from the tents of the just.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with dreaming which you have so envisioned. Keep dreaming, that's all I can tell you.

#1.
It is the duty of igbo elected leadership to protect the rights and interests of his peoples.
#2. It is their duty to protect their constituents from abuse by the federal government of Nigeria, whether this be through Abuja, or through the international organisations which are qualified to intervene in cases of genocide and ethnic cleansing.
Igbos having suffered from and continuing to suffer from ethnic cleansing by the Nigerian government, are therefore highly sensitized to this aspect of their relationship with the federal Nigerian government, and as such the peoples of Biafra, must be ready to respond in defense of their peoples.
#3. Any igbo governor, or senator who fails to respond appropriately to the marginalisation of the igbos, and fails to respond appropriately to the on going genocidal activities of the Nigerian government must never be re elected for public office in igbo land.
#4. The goal of all leaders is for resource control, and eventual complete seperation from the Nigerian republic. This is in accordance with the southern agenda of the Niger delta congress and the OPC. The biafrans find this clause not subject to debate, our eventual independence is non compromisable.

#5. all igbo leaders will use the resources at their disposal for the provision of services and industries to their peoples. With priority of the physical structures of the roads, provision of electricity, water, and telecommunications, and adequate health facilities, educational infrastructure for its peoples.

No Biafran president will claim to be above the cause, or above the common man. He will remember that he is the biggest SERVANT, with his master being the electorate, and not the other way around.

Exemplary moderation: In the face of the severe economic hardships of the Biafrans, no Biafran leader will flaunt wealth, or partcipate in activities leading to the misappropriation of public funds. Any biafran leader found guilty of such, will be forced to resign from his position.

Fidelity to the coalition:
All Biafran leaders must demonstrate not only unquestionable loyalty to the ideals of the Biafran state, but a whole hearted co operation with the finalising of our neighboring coalitions.

Ethnocentrism: No Biafran leader who espouses a belief in "ethnic" superiority should be allowed to remain in office. All leaders must be sensitive at all times, that Biafra is a multicultural and secular government, which chooses to be inclusive.
Any insensitive remarks about other ethnic groups making group stereotyping will be investigated, and all leaders participating will be forced to relinquish public office.

May the good God who hears the prayers of the weak and the oppressed, one day enable us to materialise this dream of a true and egaliatarian society, which upholds at all times and foremost the well being of the common man, which recognizes no class structure, and seeks for justice for all.
(What Nigeria could never give...)

Long live Biafra, freedom and justice for all.
As for you my sweet Biafra you are set in timelessness, you begin at infinity and you end at infinity.
And there shall come shouts of VICTORY from the tents of the just.

Coming from a nut head who has neither principles nor honor, to the likes of you there is no code of conduct, but in true Nigerian fashion, everything goes...

Sorry to say, whoever you are, or whatever you are, you are destined to be one of those individuals who passes through life without making any lasting impression on anyone.

You are truely representative of the chaff of the wheat!

Elaboration on the theme of ethnocentrism and ethnic superiority:

One of the main themes of Nigerian politics has been the continuous promulgation of the belief system that certain peoples are superior to others and also that certain individuALS within certain groups are more valuable than others;

I refer you to Awolowos theme of yoruba superiority which has since become the watchword and mark of true YORUBAISM in Nigeria. This was further demonstrated by the most honorable Dupsy Adelaja, saying in effect, that since we are their inferiors we should be content with our lot in life. I found this distasteful, to say the least, and as such we must be sensitive in Biafra to our multicultural basis, and not make THE SAME MISTAKE AS THE NIGERIANS, WHO THOUGHT THAT THEY COULD EXCLUDE ONE THIRD OF THE COUNTRY PERMANENTLY FROM ITS JUST DESERT, AND THAT THERE WOULD BE NO REPERCUSSIONS.

THE NIGERIANS THOUGHT, SINCE THESE PEOPLE HAVE LOST THE WAR, THEY WILL CONTINUE IN SLAVERY TO US TO THE END OF THE WORLD:

THEY COULD NOT FATHOM, THAT SO SOON IN THE NEXT GENERATION WOULD THE PEOPLE RISE UP TO DRIVE THE OPPRESSORS AND USURPERS INTO THEIR OWN TERRITORY.....
