All, I had wanted to start a thread called "Yuletide sermon". On second thought, I felt this thread will do just fine.
While we celebrate it is the yuletide, permit me to submit these few lines. I’d like to address metaphorically the "Bacon and Egg".
For starters, it has been said that for you to have your bacon and egg, it takes a commitment from the pig, and involvement from the chicken. We also know, for the longest time, the Igbo’s of Biafranigeria have been made scapegoats or whipping boys in that country, hence when ever or wherever a part of the country coughs, they are slaughtered. In other words, at the Alter called "Keeping Nigeria one" the Igbo’s are always committed, while the other ethnic groups only involve themselves. So much for keeping Nigeria one.
This past year, I cannot help but notice in this forum the commitment of some of my Igbo siblings in their resolve to re-actualise an Igbo nation. Great, I dare say. However, some observers probably also have noticed, there are some non-believers too. There are two categories of non-believers. Some of the non-believers are indeed core Igbo’s while others come from Nigerians. My prayer for the year 2002 is that both groups should agree to disagree in a civil manner. More importantly, that the believers remember one cardinal rule when one has committed oneself to a cause, which is Vulnerability.
As any political observer must have noticed lately, in today’s Nigeria it is "Situation Normal, All Fucked Up". Therefore, my good people – watch out for Vulnerability, we must learn to live, after all life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans or while you are committed to your struggle.
Although it has been said many times before and in many ways – Merry Christmas to everyone and the best wishes for the New Year from Copenhagen.

Nkem, Good talk. Thank you and may the new year bring to you and your family showers of blessings; and to all Biafrans the deliverance that is very much needed from the "Pharaoh" no matter how much the Pharaoh resists. May Biafrans sit back this holiday season and develop the right spirit for unity and tact in the quest for the well deserved freedom. Yes, vulnerability is a factor to be aware of. It should be of concern to everyone. Therefore we must guard against detractors and fire on. We must succeed if we work deligently and smartly. There is no going back but we must be tactful. When Moses fell God brought Aaron to continue the journey to the promised land. Let everyone remain a Moses or an Aaron of some sought. Right under our noses we see what is going on. Everyday that passes by shows us more reasons to continue the struggle. If we give up we will only have succeeded in presenting ourselves as the sacrificial lamb for the alter of rituals for one Nigeria. Our children deserve freedom. God bless you all.
