Folks,
We do not in any way condone the violent assassination of any one, but just follow the Nigerian newspapers and notice the hypocrisy of Nigeria.

Every western leader has come out to condemn the violent death of Ige, emergency cabinet meetings are called, the ever travelling and jet setter president has suspended a much publicised trip to Zimbabwe, to broker PEACE( laughable to anyone who knows the intimate details of Nigeria at peace!)

In the months preceding: Mass slaughters in Jos and Kano of primarily igbos, the final count in the thousands? Buried in mass graves. Kano uprisings did not even shorten a trip to Paris, where, while trying to impress "International feed the children", the buffoon of Abuja, states a lame: "People are going to react."

Wake up folks, its the Nigerian way, where 1 million igbos is equal to (maybe) 1 what?

We see pics of flowing robes, and the elite yorubas bearing the sorrieest of condolences, appalled at the security state of the 'nation", where some are born to live and others to die.

Where are the tears when my people are gunned down in cold blood? Where then are all those men in flowing robes bearing condolences?

Atleast Bola ige will get a marked grave, and a religious service,

my people must content themselves with a hurried mass burial, in a mass grave; and become yet another nameless victim of the brutality of the neo nazi Nigerian state.

This is the Nigeria we oppose: a brutal state which has decided that it ha sthe right to determine which lives are useful and which are not, which can be silently dispensed with, and which must be buried amongst accolades of the exclusive.

ijeomaannuntu,

Your posting is a deeply saddening reminder of the pathetic situation.

When the exiled Israelites went back to rebuild their city, they took it in turns to work, sleep and guard. They often had to protect themselves from ambushing saboteurs.

These attacks have been going on for a while. It wont stop without a catalyst. The horrible thing is, it is a copy cat of like the Klu Klux Klan night raids.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for all people to survive except by moving to other parts of the country.

Think it has come to the stage where we have to be ready in groups for self-defence at any time, if one can be sure the Army will not interfere. My call would be dont live anywhere unsafe without a gun or means of protection. Surrender, compromise, lack of cooperation and disunity is what got Africa in the mess it is in.

We must get rid ourselves of external and internal destruction in the form of Arab Jihads, Western oil grabbing, self angrandisement, lack of neighbourly love, chronic dishonesty and so on.

The death of Bola Ige also means we have lost an opportunity to apply human rights PR Pressure to ensure we get our own house in order before jointly pointing a finger with the other 33 countries.
