Thankyou Rudek for consulting your crystal ball on Nigerias future...
I do not pretend to have the gift of prophecy, however, if there is one thing that Nigeria is, her want is predictable. Just as her tale of wanton destruction, genocide, tyrany, is an ever recurring tale, and democracy continues to be a figment of the imagination of the caring few. An elusive dream on one of those hot sweaty nights of which there are many.
I would like to add the following predictions,( and hopefully at the end of next year we can all exchange notes at a new years Biafra bash!) ( Ooops, I forgot, its kinda dangerous to socialise in Biafra right now, lest I be accused of fornication and adultery!)
Chevron and Shell will post another year of bumper crop profits in the Niger Delta, to the tune of billions. CEO for chevron will get a bonus of 20 million dollars, and they will hold a Xmas bash with Dom Perignon and Caviar.
Some villages in abia and rivers will be the grateful recipients of a 1.5 kilometer road, and 6 classrooms furnished with desks and chairs. This all from the goodwill of Chevron for host communities after 40 years of oil spills and flare burning.
The biggee belly of Abuja, will increase the girth of his stomach, as he continues to live off the fat of the land...( No new years resolutions for an exercise program there!!!!) ( Money miss road!)
20 new yoruba instant millionaires hit the jackpot in the oil industry sector!!!! CONGRATS, and you didnt even have to purchase a lottery ticket!!!!( Just be the right tribe man we know how that works!)
And then the endless pics of the upper crust Lagosians in the guardian. Where would we be without those pics????
Sharia is taken to new heights in the North and the West. It is greeted with accolades whereever it is established.
Lagos state passes law requiring all females to ambulate in Burkas, Osun and Ogun and Oyo quickly follow suit.
Nigerias crime rate plummets to 0.05% with institution of sharia. It is now possible to walk two blocks in Lagos without getting your fake gold chain ripped off your neck.
Along with religious fervor, unemployment continues to soar to new HEIGHTS( as if it were a positive thing!) . It hits 99% in Biafra and her territories( up 19 %), in the rest of "Gods" country, it hits 40%, despite fanatic appeals to Him that why is he not listening now that we have set evrything straight?
Increased militarisation of the Niger delta and Biafran territories.
Hey folks where is the good news?
The only good news I can think of is Rudolf, at least he makes us laugh!

In a way, I must confess that i have become quite fascinated by not only his writings and their total lack of substance( now thats an art form to master!), but also by his quick footed agility, his innate ability to appear and disappear, just like a little he goat running amok in my village.
I have also had the fortune or misfortune of viewing his pic on Nigerworld, there he is peering over the rim of his sunglasses, quite the model of the gentleman, a journalist who has reached the pinnacle of his profession, and this without ever having any set purpose, nor original ideas! well at least he "looks" good? We dont care about the pic Rudolf! Afterall, you are not a model, or are you?? Or was that looking over the specs an attempt to convince us that you are infact as a"spy vs spy", or into investigative reporting?
No matter how one looks at it, you provide a welcome diversion and good cheer over here, even if it is at your own expense; no wonder you like Nigeria so much , truely you are a man impervious to insults!
Happy new year,Rudolf.

As we move into a brand new year pondering what it will bring, and the struggle for self-determination enters a new and ever interesting phase, I leave you with the quote below:

I predict that in the coming year 2002, more people on the web will come to understand better the immeasurable values of brain-storming issues for a more feasible path to our common goal, than attacking individuals.

Well said, I predict 2002 will be the make or break year for the actualization struggle. We will have to back our words with our heart and wallets. We will need to define what we truly want or continue to be blown around by the wind.
Effective and dynamic leadership will have to emerge to unify and lead the struggle in diaspora. I urge everyone to think of one project you can accomplish for the struggle in the coming year.
Happy and prosperous new year to you all my brethren.
You deserve to be commended for your dedication. You, Amanda Wekson, Ohafia Udumeze, Anu Nti, and many others. Any of you that emerges as the leader will have my support.

Hopefully, the new year will bring better Igbo and Biafran leadership followership. One thread started by Kabaka at BiafraNigeriaWorld has thrown everything into disarray. Something must really be wrong. Evidently, Biafra Foundation thought it was in control of everything and was manipulating everything, including the members of this forum, until Kabaka struck with a few simple comments.
It is time to go back to the drawing board.

A happy new year to y'all. If the first working week is anything to go by then it promises to be a very busy year for me on the work front. Not bad in itself so long as it brings prosperity. Abi no be so?
Cheers boys and gals!

You did not predict a damn thing. Stop dribbling and go back to your post and tell me how you predicted with near certainty events that would unfold in 2002.

Tijani, I can see, so you are so self centered that you can not acknowleage a simple fact.
