Here is where we are today.

1) Biafra House is closed because it has been rejected by Biafrans.
2) The relationship between MASSOB and BF is dissolved.
3) MASSOB has broken up into factions.
4) Biafrans reject BF because it is a cult rather than a legal foundation.

Today, we are in need of people to lead Biafra in Diaspora. The new leadership must emerge through proceedings that are transparent in every sense.

L. Akpan:

Perhaps a conference of Biafrans in North America should be held. Preparatory work can be done online, minimizing cost.

For example, a website can be created where the following will be posted: (i) proposed organizational structure, rules for its function (by-laws); (ii)candidates can nominate themselves and post their manifesto or platform (no more than 1 page) etc.

People can then show up at a 2-day conference, vote, agree upon the issues or agenda to be pursued and get down to work. Transparent, simple and effective. That way, a diaspora organization, with rules, clear leadership (elected), independent finances etc., can emerge quickly.

Just an idea.

Chike:

There you go again. The last time you made a proposal that sounded sensible, you were asked to prepare the letter that you proposed. Instead of preparing the letter, you pulled a Rudolf on us; you took off. Now that the cults, fake houses, and fake radio stations have been exposed, it is time to move the Biafra movement with a purpose. We need clear-minded and vibrant people to lead Biafra, and I will support all moves, including conferences that are geared toward a serious movement. Let us not throw the baby out with the bath water. BF was flawed. But, Ekwe Nche, BLM, MASSOB, and the other groups seem to be focused.

My vote is for people like sundiatta-clerheaded no hogwash, no bandwagon, very committed and insightful.
And such others like CSE and Benbella. One is only trying to show examples that can be followed here.

Mr. Magudu:

Are you a Biafran? What part of Biafra is the name Magudu from?

Mazi Magudu:

You have not made any worthwhile post since you joined this forum. Now that you see that people are trying to do something positive, you have become a distraction. If you really want people like CSE and Obiora to lead Biafra, is it not a disservice to both men that you are the one pushing them forward.

chike:

I am interested in your proposals. But, as you can see, the discussion should not take place in the presence of people like Magudu. Magudu is not a Biafran.
