Chevron-Texaco Give up oil search in Benue/Gongola

It is disappointment galore for expectant investors in the crude oil resources of the Gongola/Benue trough of Northern BiafraNigeria. It is terrible news.

Chevron-Texaco BiafraNigeria Limited, the remaining multi-national out of the three that began the search for hydrocarbon in the area 12 years ago has packed its equipment from site. Reason: There is no crude oil in the trough. Did you read that?

Out-going Managing Director of Chevron-Texaco, Ray Wilcox who stated this at a farewell luncheon with media chiefs in Lagos yesterday, said the company carried out all the necessary work and technical tests on the area and still drew blank.

"We have done all the technical test and I will say that we have relinquished those blocks to prospectivity." There was no hydro-carbon resources there. We don't have intention of going back to the place," Wilcox said.

Why have I bolded all those statements? I did it to make sure that people in the so-called Niger-Delta know that the North will not leave them alone soon. The North is dry. It has no oil, and it needs your oil. If you want your oil back, prepare and fight for Biafra.

Imagine the billions of dollars wasted on this wild goose chase for oil.

Patrick,
Now is time for the so called NDELTANS of Eastern BiafraNigeria to prepare for their fight for freedom. The unfortunate thing about these our siblings is that they find it hard to differenciate between an enemy and a friend. Rather than using their energy fighting for freedom (Biafra)the Ijaw, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Kalabari man will waste his time competing with eachother over who owns this land or the other land.

They've fought each other more than they have fought their real enemies, the Talakwas and Amajiris.
