Ndigbo and indeed the people of Biafra
Here is my story,
I happened to reside in the northern state of kastina in Nigeria. In the year 1999 there was a riot (reasons i could understand) but we found our selfs(Igbos and other Christians) BEEN KILLED by the militant islamic hausa/fulani and thier alamajeris.
Our people were killed,maimed and our properties destroyed and lotted by this religios holigans.
We did called for the assistance of the fedaral goverment of Nigeria for an intervention to stop the carnege, and for intervention and possible evacuation since we could not be able to march fire by fire but met our greatest shock. We recieved no assistance from the goverment of Mr Obasanjo, then we were left to the mercy of the holigans who has no pity for any thing IGBO or CHRISTIAN to continue on thier killing of our people Ndigbo.
I Edward decided to find an escape as this will be the only way to save my life, I was lucy (for most of my people lost thier lifes) enough to find my way to the republic of Niger from where i procedeed to my present abode.
It was very clear to that we Ndigbo were not wanted in Nigeria and our lives and properties are always at risk then to find my self a place of refuge since my life was not save in the country that we call our own.
I am presently residing in Santiago, Chile. by the help of the united nations and the good will of the goverment and the people of Chile and at last i have found future.
Today i am filled with joy for it seems to me that our people the Ndigbo has found it nessasry to take our destine into our own hands as we clamour for own country the Reppublic of Biafra.
I am always filled with tears of joy because the Almighty GOD the GOD of peace has heard the outcry and the pains of our people the Ndigbo for he has once agian made us to come togethere as one people and speak in one voice on our agiation of the state of Biafra, so that we and our future generation will live in a state of our own where human right is guaranteed irespective of creed and tongue.
We thank God that today he out of his mercies has touched the heart of our couragoeus ledears like Chief Uwazulike and his exellence Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the former Biafran head of state to lead the people of the new Biafra Republic into liberty by non violence.
Even as we Biafrans are very few here in Chile, we are making every nessasery arrengment tobring to the notice of the people and the goverment of the Republic Of Chile for us to be recognised as Biafran citizens here in Chile and by the special grace of GOD ALMIGHTY we hope to establish a biafran peoples office in the nearest future here in Chile.
