January 27 and 419 Fundraisers

Too many 419 people and groups are using the January 27 incident as an excuse to demand money from unsuspecting people. Even the Nigerian Liars Foundation is twisting arms at egbeomooduduwa.com in an effort to separate people from their hard-earned money.

Folks, there is more than enough money in BiafraNigeria to take care of the people affected. The effort should be channeled toward forcing the thieves in Aso Rock to release the money. If anybody asks you for money for January 27, ask them for their IRS registration.

These 419ers who parade themselves as "Biafra Foundation" never cease to amaze me. Would someone who cares ask these fraudsters about their tax identification number?

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me

419 in the making. If you want to send money to the victims, send it directly to the Red Cross. NO NLF " CONDUITS " ARE NEEDED.

You should do your own fundraiser and send the money to whomever you wish instead of just complaining about what others are doing. The Liars Foundation may be a fraud, but to do nothing in times like this may be an even bigger fraud. For your information, any fire that burns through a market in Lagos is as likely to have killed Igbo as it did Yoruba or Hausa.

What you should do is keep track of those Igbos who are willing to donate money and contribute to Nigeria and Yoruba, but are unwilling or afraid to help Igbo and Biafra. Any money handed over to Nigeria or even to the Red Cross is likely to end up in Yoruba hands. Those Igbo efulefu giving money over there should keep that in mind. When was the last time you saw the Red Cross in Igboland? If the disater had occured in Umuahia, Obasanjo would have insisted that it was the internal affairs of his country, and no foreign aid would reach the victims.

We can ask Amanda how much money she received from people like Joe Onyeocha, Le Figaro, etc. for Biafra House. How much did they give for Odi and the other disasters that happened in the East? Would Yoruba people and the half-Igbos at egbeomooduduwa.com, e.g. Kenn, donate money to help the Igbo? Joe Onyeocha was in charge of co-ordinating a fundraiser after the attack on Okigwe in 2000. Did the Yoruba members of egbeomooduduwa.com not kill the effort by claiming that nothing happened in Okigwe? How much money did Laolu Akande give to help the victims of Odi? Those are the questions that you may ask. But, please do you own fundraisers.

Igbo people should stop being stupid. To raise money and give it to people who will in turn murder you is just stupid. Soon, Laolu Akande will take the manufactured story to the Yoruba Guardian.

Ezeka:

God bless you my brother. I became enemies with ebe of egbeomo.com after the massacre in Kaduna in 2000. ebe could not even bring himself to condemn the atrocity. But, ebe volunteered to take the money to the Yoruba cab driver in Lagos.

Yet, it is the strange Igbo at egbeomo.com who spearhead the Yoruba Cab Driver fundraiser, the Yoruba child surgery fund, this and that Yoruba pet project. Something is truly wrong with our people.

If you organize a successful fundraiser here, count me in for $100.00. The money must be taken directly to Biafrans affected in this disaster and no one else.

If the money is going to Lagos, count me out. If it is going to Biafra, including the non-Igbo areas, count me in. Now, let us see how many of the Yoruba and Awusa people in this forum will give money to the fund.

I agree with Lanre. Anyone who wishes to give money should do it on their own. People do not like to be badgered for donations. Badgering is exactly what Kenn is doing. Poor CSE. Next thing we know, he will be accused of some crime for his involvement in that bogus fundraiser fraud that Kenn is perpetrating.

It appears the sons of the soil are already staking their claim to the land (Lagos). Serves Sam and Kenn right.Let's see them preach about Lagos is Nigeria to the area boys when they eventually hijack the relief as they did to the redcross.
Lagos is Odua territory

"Yes, it is time to defend decency and It is your time to wake up and do so. The Yoruba land is gradually being devastated and you guys are here talking about Nigeria"

Bad things have happened in Nigeria. But, just raising money and giving it to people in the middle of all the confusion? That will not help anything. It is actually quite foolish.

Some people are trying to use this opportunity to become heroes. Nothing will make me happier than to see all the Hausas leave Yorubaland. Enough is enough. Every indication is that the explosion was hausa sabotage.

What disgusted me about the involvement of people like Joe Onyeocha in that stupid Yoruba fundraiser at egbeomooduduwa.com was that they seemed to have answered a call to Igbo efulefu made by the Ngwati Laolu Akande and the Yoruba-Igbo, Kenn. As Laolu Akande saw it, the crisis at MASSOB and BF was an opportunity to rally Igbo efulefu[/] to yet another Yoruba cause.

The basic strategy was to keep the [i]efulefu-in-chief, himself (Steve) in the background. Hence, there was to be no bold comments by Steve, the prime-mover of NLF. Onyeocha was to come out and make some positive comments about NLF's involvement in the fundraiser, and CSE would be prodded to participate in the farce. Under their scheme, CSE, the lone-ranger that he has become at egbeomooduduwa.com, would be isolated if he refused to play ball. Kenn was to propose a meeting or a phone conference and announce a time for the conference even though CSE had not committed to such a meeting.

A few bombs blow up in Lagos, and a bunch of Igbos are sending money to Yoruba people. Now, Obusonjo has attacked another Biafran town, and 60 homes are said to have been razed. Let us see the compassionate egbomooduduwaites conduct a fundraiser to help those folks in Liama, Biafra.

By the way, Obasanjo has promised to compensate and re-settle all the Hausa-Fulani displaced in the OPC violence in Lagos. While those fools are busy sending money to Lagos, they should ask themselves, why the Igbo victims of Kaduna 2000 have not been compensated.

Dream on. You expect those guys to raise money to help Igbo people or Biafrans? Have they even mentioned what happened in Liama?
