Thanks Chi boy for that post. I had read the report which seems to have been quoted verbatim from the ministers speech. To say the least not only was I horrified but also filled with disbelief that a government representative could speak to his constituents in a manner which can only be categorised as ABUSIVE.
But then this has been the general tone of the Obasanjo administration and his hand picked cabinet, who are following the tone of the leader:
In effect, when the President addresses his constituents in an abusive manner, then the ministerial cabinet pick up on this and follow the same tone.
The tone is one of our superiors addressing their inferiors(us), and that we dont really deserve their attention nor respect, and infact as per Obasanjo when he visited the blast site that he is infact doing the public a FAVOUR of the highest magnitude by doing this.
Needless to say, not even the British monarchy takes it upon themselves to abuse their constituents, and they are in a much more spotless position than the tarnished past of the Nigerian leaders.
In short, the Nigerian leaders are no leaders! These overstuffed individuals are egoists, men with no vision, nor empathy for the common man, seeing themselves as belonging to some class above the citizens.
In Biafra, we seek for the equality of all men before God and to restore the dignity of the common man, something which Nigeria has unfailingly taken from her peoples, treating them little better than beasts.
In the final analysis, it is this mistreatment of the common man which will end this corrupt country and the pervert men who have lead the country into ruin.
