Sometime ago, Rudolf Okonkwo informed us that what happen at the "secret" Igbo forums are high caliber productive debates. I got this from a friend a few minutes ago. It is from one Ejike to another at the same high caliber forum that Rudolf told us about.

No shaking at all...... with regards to Drop Out! if not for America, you probably would have been at Ogbete or Udi Market selling palmy. Thank God for america, you now have some diploma. i went to school in nigeria before i came here and i never went back. i am a proud Nigerian graduate because i have demonstrated that 1+1=2. i practice my profession in US with nigeria education. i am happy to be a DROP OUT but i am sure you will never win an academic or speaking debate with me in any forum.
for your information, i am a drop-out. but i did my NYSC in 1983/84. i was originally posted to Niger State but i later worked my way to PH. i worked as an estate surveyor and valuer in PH before coming to America. you can check with the followimg companies: Dennis-Jude Nworgu and Company, Anozia and Ofoma and Partners. these firms are the prime real estate companies in PH and each time i go home, i still go to exchange ideas with the principals. as far as 1980, i worked on Nigeria biggest oil spill compensation valuation - TEXACO Oil Blowout that resulted in the highest compensation ever paid by an oil company in Nigeria - $12 million then. i was still a student when i was rescruited because i showed knowledge. mark you my dad owned an estate management company in enugu before the war. i did not study estate management by accident. so what is your family background? please state. if you check the original layout plan of a section of Uwani - Enugu, you will see that Okpa Real Estate Company was one of the early developers. i hope you know how to research the archives.
i was a member of the team of estate surveyors that acquired the permanent site for Imo Airport, Imo University, NAFCON site, Onne Ocean Terminal, and a host of other notable acquisitions. i worked on the right of way acquisition of PH-Enugu Expressay; the stretch of it in PH. i was the one that negotiated the sale of property that Justice Onyema owned in PH and delivered the contract to him when i worked for Anozia and Company. do i need to go on. i have plenty of mileage in my profession as a 'drop-out'. i am happy i make people like you squirm even with your so-called degree. mark you, less than 4 years in US, i headed the biggest asset liquidation exercise in US bank failure history. i did not study real estate in US and was the regional appraisal manager. these are verifiable experiences. i spoke to African Housing Minister in Brazzaville Congo in May 1995 at the invitation and sponsorship of UN Center fo Urban Settlement and Shelter Afrique. has any institution ever paid you to discuss what you know; Mr College Graduate? please tell me when. and on April 1, 2002, i will be speaking to UNT Business Students on Enterprise System in Denton. you are welcome to come. this is my second year and i am paid to speak. i am a drop-out!
no one who did not graduate will do NYSC. i am sure you never did such program because you came here with WASC and because of old age, NYSC will grant you exemption. i have my certificate of service and graduated from UST PH with second class Upper Division. i finished my school certificate at the age of 17 and had all my papers 8 of them in one sitting. i was the only waawa person at Merchants of Light Oba class of 77 that made Division One and was among 20 out of a class of 125 that passed WASC with all papers. i was admitted to UNN to do Geography but since i wanted Estate Management, i had to wait until 79. i did not go to school to simply get a degree, i went for something i have interest in. i was the first nigerian in US to join AIREA and first to start an appraisal company in Dallas. many that are in that profession today got some counseling from me. ejike, i trade where many will be afraid to venture. i was prepared by my parents before coming to US and that is more valuable than degrees.
when i came to US in 85, you were still going to school and when i headed the FDIC Appraisal Department from 88-90, you were still no where near corporate america. for your information, i started FDIC Appraisal Department in this region. i was so recognized in that psoition in the late 80s that late Congressman Micky Leland of Houston wrote me a letter of appreciation for what i was doing. i still have a copy of the letter. i was one of very few blacks at managerial level in FDIC and if you understand the importance of real estate in US economy, you will know that it is not easy to have a foreigner head such a function. when i started my appraisal firm in 90 and was the first nigerian in Texas to be certified as an appraiser - General Practitioner - 1992, you hadn't accomplished anything with your degree. so where is the 'DROP OUT' thing coming from? please state what you do? if i am a drop out, i am sure it makes you that spent years acquiring degree look silly.
ejike ene you know of me and hardly know me. on academics, you will not see my brake light and on professional arena, you are no where in the radar. i need not say any more. the records speaks for themselves. when i left corporate america in 1990, many nigerians in the Dallas were still going to school and acquiring degrees. degrees are fine but i want someone that has done something with it. show me the RESUME or CV! always thank AMERICA for what it has done for you. my dad paid my school fees and i never used student loan - you get it!

quote: Okpa ii,
I've warned you to stop wasting my time reading your resume. I am not hiring. You should go back to school to learning how to make your point without repeating yourself over and over again. You gave your readers headache with such boring self angradizement. I called you a college drop out and that is exactly what you are. You have an associate degree and that is how you got into youth service program. You can list everything you think you are but it will not change the fact about your academic background.
Anyone reading your endless resume will come out with the impression that something is wrong with your thought process. I asked you to give me an example of an organization that discusses its matter in a public forum, your response was a senseless lecture of how a city government works. I called you a college drop out, you responded with a long resume as if you were looking for job. That was why you drop out from a bachelor degree program and fell on associate degree. Your instructors got tired of reading the senseless responses you gave to the questions they asked. You got frustrated and settled for an associate degree.
EJIke, thank you for dignifying me by telling your readers that I am from Amokwe, Udi local govt., Enugu State. Also thank you for reminding me that if it wasn't for USA that I would be selling palmy at Udi. I said Amen to that. I wish I could say the same thing about you. However, I do know that you are a prodigal son of Ihe. I also know that you made a promise of large sum of money to your people which you have failed to fulfill. That is the reason why you could not show up in anything Ihe people are doing in your town. Of course everyone knows that you are not a member of Ihe organization in Dallas. It was not by accident, it was by design. You are on the run but they will catch up with you. If you dare deny this I'll expose the amount and the day and year you made the promise. You are a known crook. You lied to your people and on the basis of that lie they gave you a V.I.P treatment.
I am very sorry for people who take you seriously. They should remember that it is the same Ejike who told them that he was the first Nigerian appointed to a position by a seating president, yet his ass is still with us here in Dallas; that it was the same Ejike who asked people to send resume to him so that he could hire them to evaluate government buildings all over the USA; that it was the same Ejike who said that president Bush wrote him inviting him to take a position in his cabinet, yet he is here looking for a person he will deceive; that it is the same Ejike who is now inviting people to apply for investigative nonsense for an attorney. Ladies and gentlemen, you are premonition about this man. By their fruit we know them. He gave you all that resume to look impressive but there is nothing in him. Go look at the resume he sent me and see how many times he mentioned that he was first Nigerian in this or that. Okpa, you talked about your family, what I can tell you is that when my family sent me to the USA your family was pinching pennies to send you to school for an associate degree.
Have a good night. Since you have a full time job as Igbo forum policeman, I expect your reply within 10 minutes or forever hold your peace. Ejike A. Ene
Now I know why they want all these secret places. They need places where they can make fools of themselves without feeling any shame.

Why is it that Ndigbo's so called elites, intelligentsias, Phds, etc., take delight in exposing their acute and perpetual ignorance in progressive endeavor for mankind? We've been force-fed strings of nauseating "me, my self, and I" self-aggrandizement crap, yet not a single passable road, a twinkle of light, or portable drinking water exist in the enclave where these "intelligentsias" hail from. I ask, what have each of them done for their villages and local govt area other than the usual characteristic superficial boastings?
After the rehearsal of these strings of acquisition of classroom certificates, the so called intelligentsia still lack commonsense. This is exactly why illiterate Awusa and Yoruba will keep ruling the purported "highly educated" Igbos. I don't see it abating any time soon.
I cannot stress it enough. The disunity within is the greatest obstacle to Igbo progress and independence from Nigeria. Someone got hot and bothered at another thread where I mentioned one of the causes of deep disunity among Ndigbo. He'd rather we pretend to see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil. As long as we keep pretending, we will all be running around in this kind of shameless circle of dog bite dog, and snake swallow snake...products of our society, indeed.

Big babies, is how we used to refer to these types. None of them is less than 40 yet they yarp about what their fathers did for them. I hope they are doing something for their own kids or at least for the kids of those sensible or lucky enough to have them.

It has become very clear that it is only in Igbo land that an inverse relationship exists between degrees and common sense. The more degrees the Igbo acquires the less his/her common sense. While the smart ones are intimidating the rest of us in Igboland with their knowledge look at who get's employed in Biafra Nigeria
This is a snap shot of the recruiting patern of the oil companies headquartered in Lagos and now a trade mark of the Obasanjo regime from Nitel through the finance ministry to NEPA. Now you know why the Igbo's dominate the Berger used car market with all their degrees. This also explains why some Igbo's have developed terrible inferiority complex as they must now debase themselves to make a living.
The JAMB and Law school results have all been circulated here previously and people acknowledged the stellar performance of Ndigbo. However I have always questioned the fate of these smart young Igbo men and women in the real world. Why is the Igbo dominance of accademics not being translated to corporate success. The answer is simple, the self serving ego of the Igbo intelligentia and their refusal to understand that the hypocrisy of BiafraNigeria has no place for fair play or intelligence.
While Ojo Maduekwe is busy sacking Ndigbo at Nigerdock which they built up, Obasanjo is busy stacking Nitel and the finance ministry with his brethren. Is the same Nigerdock not today being readied to be offloaded to emergency Yoruba millionaires in the name of privatisation ? Who do you think will be employed there ? Yet Maduekwe is of the Igbo intelligentia and he can show you his degrees to prove it.
Igbo's greatest enemy in BiafraNigeria is the Igbo themselves. To think about it who is the elite in Igboland today ? Those who profited from derailng Biafra.Any way let us support emeka who is married to Bunmi and fully assimilated in Ngbati circles as our presidential candidate, it is our only chance. Tufiakwa

This reminds me of a discussion I read in the same forum some weeks ago, where some JJC guy who just started his LL.M program at Harvard was comparing his LL.B degree from Naija with JD from the US. After that discussion, I cancelled my membership of that forum. It is a bunch of old men wasting time.

THEY MOST CLOSE THIER MOUTHS AND REST. OUR FORUM IS NOT FOR SELF PRAISE, WE HAVE A MISSION AND WE FOCUSED. SHAME UNTO THESE TWO MEN, THEY NOT FIT TO IGBOS.
