Forumites:

Please pardon me for bringing up such a silly story into the Main section.

As far back as October 2000 when I went to BiafraNigeria news was making rounds that a major Obasanjo one of the many "wives" of the BiafraNigerian president was using her husband's office to extort money from BiafraNigerians.

Now, she doesn't even want to wait for the law like Abacha Junior.

quote:
The wife of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Major (rtd) Mojisola Adekunle Obasanjo has reportedly escaped from detention where she was ordered detained by an Ebute-Metta Chief Magistrate Court. Mrs. Mojisola Obasanjo, who is involved in a case of illegal extortion of money from innocent victims of the Federal Low Cost Housing Estate in Isheri Olofin was reportedly ordered remanded in detention by the court pending the determination of the case instituted by the police against her.

So what is new, Stella Obasanjo was selling Oil license inside Aso rock. Now this other wife is extorting money. And their Husband is fighting corruptions ya right. Do anybody still think that Abacha is not a better leader than Obusonjo. At least with Abacha we only had to deal with one wife, and India prostitutes. However with Obasanjo we are now faced with so many wives and God knows how many prostitutes.

Ikemba,

What you call "prostitutes" are infact intelligent agents on special mission. They accomplished their mission with finesse... without compromise.

What would you call the "special delegate" who served "tea" to Abiola?

For now, Obasanjo is a darling, studiously carrying out his assignments. Should he cause "displeasure" he will simply go the way of his predecessors. Get my drift? Prostitution has nothing to do with it.

Sister Amanda
You know something I stand corrected, you may be right, I never looked at it that way.

In another life time I did read that Ceasar's wife should be above suspicion. Na wa oh! With the likes of these in the kitchens of power, how come we are embarking on a fishing expedition for those scuttling democracy?

Obasanjo epitomizes filth in every sense of the word. The caliber of people who have been inmates of Police cells are alien to most people on this forum, I am sure. Imagine how lowly she would sunk to have made a hapless Police Officer summon the gumption to put her behind bars. OO should be wary who he takes on his frequent junkets. With the way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised reading "Nigerian First Lady Docked for Shoplifting in Geneva".
