Fellow BiafraNigerians:

Last night we started an upgrade of the message board software. We hope you like the enhancements. We have almost completed the process. The message board is fully operational, and all essential functions have been restored. The rest of the upgrade process is underway, and should not require us to close the forums.

Many of you wrote to ask about the error messages you saw this morning or late last night. Those messages were related to the upgrade process and not to the banning of any members, as some members have inquired.

As part of the upgrade process, it was critical that we safeguard all existing user and forum stat data. We are pleased to report that no such data was lost during the process. Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you experience any difficulties in participating in the forums. Shortly, I will be responding, via e-mail, to the rest of your user-related questions.

We apologize for any inconveniences that the upgrade may have caused.
