What else is left for this shameless man to do just to make him fell like God. I hope this woman will not turn out to displace Stella.

Graduate gets instant job from Obasanjo

FOR a 25-year-old unemployed graduate, President Olusegun Obasanjo's visit to Anambra State last week broke the jinx of joblessness in her life.

The female graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) was the cynosure of all eyes as Obasanjo moved towards her, went beyond a presidential handshake and singled her out from the crowd for an automatic employment.

Apparently to allay the woman's fears, the president directed an aide to give her transport fare to enable her go home to bring her credentials.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), luck smiled on the young woman when shortly on arrival at the Government House, Awka, Obasanjo broke protocol and went to a group of people waving at and cheering him.

He pointed to the woman and said, "how are you?" and she responded "fine, thank you sir."

Obasanjo asked her, "what do you do for a living?" and her response was, "nothing sir."

The dialogue continued:

Obasanjo said: "Then what do you want? Do you want a federal employment or private work?

The woman burst into tears of joy and said, "give me any work you wish, sir."

Obasanjo immediately ordered his aide-de-camp to take the unidentified woman to his chief of protocol officer, who, in turn, gave the lucky woman transport fare to go home and get her credentials for employment.

However, the nature of the job could not be ascertained but it was learnt that the woman had been on the job market for two years.

Thereafter, Obasanjo went into the state executive council hall where Governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju briefed him on the problems, achievements and prospects of his administration.

The lucky graduate, who could not hold her emotion, later said that the President's visit and offer of a job, was a divine favour from God.

She stated that she had been praying to God for a job since she had nobody in government to assist her gets one.

"In fact, it still beats my imagination that the President left all the good looking people around me and pointed at me and asked me what I wanted," she said, adding:

"When he was pointing at me, I thought he was referring to somebody behind me."

While I do not have any qualms about the Biafran girl getting a job directly from Obasanjo, although Igbo women deserve the Federal jobs more than any other goddamned Nigerian woman. All Jobs must be based on merit, I mean based on written test to eliminate the unqualified Mallams and minimize the Yoruba dependency on government welfare[Hand outs]

Obasanjo behavior was nothing but a political gesture. If I must say just another way to tell the Biafranigerians that he has the power, "na na na na I got the power stupid and you can't do a damn thing about" What a way to show it.

Hail Biafra

That girl deserved a job and perhaps two years before then through a normal means. I'd rather thank God for her. again, others like her I believe are many. Why can't the country be so functional that people do not live by the power of the president's mercy.
