Look What I found at egebeomooduduwa.com.
quote:
Now, Ibos have almost all stopped going to school! At least 90 per cent of illegal drug sale in Nigeria is by the near illiterate Ibos in Docemo market, Idumota market, Mushin market, Daleko and Alaba all in Lagos. Not to talk of the Head Bridge market in Onitsha. Or Ariaria Market in Aba. Or New Haven in Enugu or Sabongari market in Kano. They colonized my area in Ikotun and Agege Motor Road in Mushin.

Pharmacists (Ibos and non-Ibos alike) are out of business because of the activities of the Ibo traders. I am a pharmacist. I know what I am talking about, and right now, there is move to legalize drug markets in Nigeria in order to accommodate the activities of the medicine hawkers. It is rumored that the current Minister of Health, ABC Nwosu, is sympathetic to the illegal drug marketers who plan to bank-roll his campaign for the position of Anambra State Governor in 2003! Governor Nwobodo with his government was rumored to have killed the effort of the PSN to raid the Onitsha head-bridge market in the 80s. The Nigerian Association of General Practice Pharmacists has broken into factions of those who support illegal drug markets (Ibos) and those who do not (non-Ibos) in the PSN. The break-up manifested itself in the convention of the NAGPP held in Ibadan in early 1999. Ibos in the PSN are now saying that Alhaji Budah, the PSN president is campaigning against the drug market proposal because it affects Ibo business! It should be stressed that pharmaceutical service is not an Ibo or Yoruba business. It is the business of a registered pharmacist all over the world. Except, of course, Nigerian Pharmacists!

They are involved in spare parts for vehicles to fridges. And wherever they are no other ethnic group is allowed in! This is why you cannot find Yoruba settling anywhere in Ibo land. An example will suffice. There was a patent medicine seller in Iga Idunganran (Obas Palace Area) in Lagos. He was the only Yoruba man in rows upon rows of illegal medicine stalls both right and left. Six times in one year, his stall was robbed of all the contents. Six times he replaced everything, until he finally got the message. He was forced to close down! An Ibo took over his stall and the larceny stopped!

The hatred of Awolowo has now been transferred to Obasanjo. There is nothing Obasanjo can do to get the approval of the Ibo. He has been labeled a tribalist. And Yoruba, who did not vote for him are now criticized for showing some support for him.

What do the Ibo want of the Yoruba?

My hunch tells me that our infamous professor X knows something about this article. Never mind that the

author’s name is given as Tunde Adenodi.

I clicked on the email link on this article which was next to the author's name in order to respond to the reckless statements but my response apparently went to another person's email address and not that of 'Tunde Adenodi'. I received a reply within minutes from this person to whom my response apparently went. He said he was not Tunde Adenodi and repudiated the views expressed in the article. I advised him to make a formal complaint to the webmaster at nigeriaworld.com

Obiora:

I am not surprised that your e-mail hit a dead end. Unless there is someone out there teaching Yoruba people to always write the same thing about the Igbo, I don't see how that article could have been written by one other than the Son of Sam exemplified in these two threads,

One

and

Two.

Once gain a Yoruba man has clerified what every goddanmed Nigerians already know, The Yourbas and Hausas as a whole are unsatisfiable mad dog envious tribe whose only means of support is government welfare. All the bank robberies in Lagos is a trade mark of bunch of Yoruba hoodlum demonstrative of hopelessness and joblessness at an all time high in the western Yoruba. Bank robbery and trading of human flesh has become their way of life. I see a disturbed race with the worst in the future. What is wrong with Nigeria is not about Igboman but few Hausa however the root of devil Nigeria comes from the Yorubas.

This article is a spokesperson for all the Yoruba race from what I make of it...The Yoruba man will rather steal from hardworking people than deal in illigal drugs or smuggling of goods.

Yorubas have no family life. The family is the building block of any progressive society. So, there are crises in their society. Crises of lack of responsibility in motherhood and fatherhood, extreme banditry and fetishness. Many of them have no means of livelihood. They have no work ethics. They are not industrious as the Biafrans. They are not prosperous. And they will never be.

Yet they want to enjoy life. In spite of their hopeless and lousy attitude to work, they are still siring children from their abodes under Carter, Eko,Ojuelegba, Oshodi and Third Mainland Bridges. In their primitive culture, all you need to own a child is to appear on the day of naming ceremony and give the child a name. So, from Ogbomosho, to Oshogbo, Ibadan to Ilesha, Akure to Abeokuta, Okitipupa to Owo, Ile Ife to Ikene, cosmopolitan Lagos and wherever you can find Yorubas, the whole place is littered with miscreants, without any means of livilihood. At night these Yoruba urchins become robbers, killing , stealing and raping. They steal from our hard-working folks.

From their intellectual class, to which the yeye Professor that posted the jealousy-inspired piece belongs to, the story of their work attitude, legendary laziness and light fingered-ness is the same. BNW is worst off for it. From National Shipping line, Nigeria Airways, in fact wherever the Yorubas have managed BNW affairs, they wrecked it. Stealing runs in their blood. Thus, they steal the whole place bare.

Naturally, they are jealous of Biafrans, with their enviable family life and industry. In fact the fad in Nigeria now is that every young Yoruba girl wants an Igbo husband. They are consulting Babalawos and Church ‘Miracle’ Workers to achieve their aim. Are they succeeding? I don’t know. This yeye Professor who posted that material is better advised to embark on a social revolution in Oduduwaland. Their claim of being the “most educated” black race is not supported by facts and figures and by their attitude to work and family affairs. They must take a clue from Biafrans today. They should stop chasing shadows.

I blame Chuck Odili for not deleting that nonsense or even reviewing it before posting it on his website unless of course he shares the same ideas with the author. Instead of writing the author, I suggest that we write Chuck himself and attach or point that article out to him with the understanding or assumption that he probably didnot read or browse through that garbage before posting it.
