quote:
"He has gone again. This time to Ontario in Canada. This is the 86th travel of President Obasanjo out of the country. Earlier this week, he was away to Zimbabwe, Great Britain and Mexico. Last week, he was away to Netherlands. Week before last, he was criss-crossing Australia and Tripoli. All told, General Olusegun Obasanjo has been out of this country three hundred and twenty-one(321) days in the last three years", he stated.
I think Obasanjo "needs to have his head examined". But then again, this is BiafraNigeria, a country that feels at home with lunatics at the helm.

Now see if you can fish out a sane person from the following list:

1)Jack Yakubu Gowon
2)Obafemi Awolowo
3)Murtala Mohammed
4)Olusegun Obasanjo
5) Muhammadu Buhari
6) Ibrahim Babangida
7) Sani Abacha
8) Abdulsalami Abubakar
9) Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo

You see why I have a problem with cultured and educated Igbo men wanting to rule BiafraNigeria? The time has come when a home-grown Agbero of Igbo stock should be unleashed on BiafraNigeria. An Agbero will not accept the Jos "earthquake" lying down.

Back to Obasanjo, methinks he should stay on and go the way of Abacha! [Razz]

Ohafia:

Now you see why some of us were supporting that certificate forger in Umuahia for the presidency of BiafraNigeria until he turned anti-Biafran on us. Every Igbo man that has one cheap diploma from a university or two-year college thinks he is too sophisticated to fight the Nigerian Agboros the Nigerian way. In Alex Ekwueme's place, the Agboro of Igbere (Orji Uzor Kalu) would have unleashed thuggery on those IBB/Obusonjo thugs that deprived Ekwueme of the presidency, and he (Kalu) would have had every support that we could have given him.

How can the ocemoron accomplish anything if he can't seat his fat bott at home for a full one month. How many of us can do our work from 10,000 miles away and still keep our job. The man is star struck and he is just trying to makeup for all the bad food he ate in prison. Lets him just eat all pounded yam he wants, he is not coming back.

He should ignore the advise from that stupid Solom Lar Lar guy below.

Solom Lar is turning into a you-chop-I-chop politician. I think I am starting to see what Olugbuo was talking about regarding the monitoring of this forum by Obusonjo and his so-called "security operatives." Obusonjo has retreated to Ota in the hope that he will get another visit from IBB - the visit that doomed Ekwueme's presidential ambitions.

This time, no cigar.

If Nd'Igbo fail to support Ojukwu, we are going to make sure that Obusonjo is removed from office, even if it means supporting IBB. Nd'Igbo should send the unequivocal signal that Ojukwu is our candidate for 2003.

If you Igbo people and your governors support Obasanjo for another four-year term, you should not blame anyone for whatever he does to you over the next four years. Even as I write, it is not clear that Obasanjo will win the vote in Yoruba states. Forget the rumours that all Yoruba people are behind him.

19 Govs Urge Obasanjo to Run.

While the Igbo governors are falling over themselves to support Obasanjo for 2003, you should read carefully what Afenifere is saying about Obasanjo for 2003. Don’t come later to say that the Yoruba deceived you. There is no Yoruba governor in that list, but all the Igbo governors are there. Even the governor of the State that Odi is in is supporting Obasanjo. What a shame!
quote:
Governors present include Adamu Muazu (Bauchi), Joshua Dariye (Plateau), Abdullahi Adamu (Nassarawa), Abubakar Audu (Kogi, APP), Mohammed Makarfi ( Kaduna), Chimaroke Nnamani (Enugu), DSP Alamieseigha (Bayelsa), Peter Odili (Rivers), James Ibori (Delta), Sam Egwu (Ebonyi), Donald Duke (Cross Rivers), Lucky Igbinedon (Edo), Jolly Nyame (Taraba), Achike Udenwa (Imo), Chinwoke Mbadinuju (Anambra), Malla Kachalla (Borno, APP), and Victor Attah(Akwa Ibom),

Prominent politicians present include Chief Tom Ikimi, Dr. Joseph Wayas, Alhaji Alimi Abdulrasaq, Idi Farouk, Chief Richard Akinjide, Alhaji Waziri Mohammed, Mr. Damishi Sango, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Chief Adisa Akinloye, Alhaji Yahaya Kwande, Sir Gabriel Igbinendon and Lawal Kaita,

Meanwhile, a member of Afenifere, Senator Femi Okunronmu, has said that the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation would only declare support for Obasanjo's second term bid if he was nominated by PDP.

Okunronmu, who disclosed this to journalists said Afenifere would wait until Obasanjo emerged as the candidate of PDP before declaring its support for him.

Okunronmu who is also the vice chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking and Currency, said Afenifere had nothing against Obasanjo but 'will rather wait for PDP to choose him before we can make our intention known."

Said he: "Afenifere and AD will support Obasanjo for second term if he is fielded by the Peoples Democratic Party.

Don't come tomorrow and say that Afenifere told you to support Obasanjo.

Another Abacha show. When are we going to get Obasanjo T.V's? Nigerian leaders are shameless.
