Primate Evolution: The Shifting Theories

We are at the brink of another revision of the evolution theory. This time, the theory places the time when the earliest primates from which humans could have emerged at 85 million years ago. That is 20 million years earlier than the previous theory.

Remember the “Early Man?”
Could this be where he came from?
quote:
“a nocturnal, tree-living creature with grasping hands and feet.

[that] weighed just a few pounds and dined on fruit and insects.

[whose] females gave birth to a single offspring, which clung to their fur?

The authors of this new theory trace the origins of man to a pre-Jurassic period characterized by the following evolutionary tree for primates.

Six subgroups of primates are said to exist today - lemurs, lorises, tarsiers, New World monkeys, Old World monkeys, apes, humans, with Dwarf lemur being the closest modern match, and the Primitive primate ancestor said to be “small-brained”

Dr. B:

Interesting topic. But, I was wondering why you started this topic in the political section. Could it be that those early primates also reminded you of

"The Animal Called Man"

Ironically, guess who wrote a book with that title? [Razz] [Smile] [Cool]

Leo:

Why are you comfortable calling another human being an animal? Obasanjo is the president of Nigeria. If you will not respect the man, you should respect the office.

Kunle:

You should be ashamed of yourself. Your man, Obusonjo, has bloody hands. He is a murderer. He has murdered too many innocent Biafrans. He has killed more unarmed Biafrans than any other animal I know. In my book, that makes him worse than any animal. He is a wild animal.

Why did an ugly thing like that write a book that he entitled "The Animal Called Man?"

There is no greater pride for me than in seeking to humiliate and disgrace Obasanjo beyond measure for he is the every unbearable likeliness of a noble and cerebral Monkey. Of all things considered, it is my religious believe, to portray him as a Primemate and uncivilized, however christianined he cliamed to be. It is a disgrace not to be able to give him bad credit for being so cruel with helpless mothers. Just look at the protrait of his whole physiological make up and notice he is a wonderful discovery of a Primate. What we [Ndigbo] refer to as "ADAKA". His face belongs to the musuem of Natural History and the rest, the National Geography.

I will hope, that No Biafranigeria, considering the really critical issues facing them and the performance of this Primate will not waste his or her franchise and throw away a vote by voting Obasanjo.

Kunle,
You dare talk about this ape of obasanjo been a human bein, my question to you is, what is human in obasanjo and what significance does that office he occupy has on the people he is supposed to lead. I did said before that the image of that ape is what i don't wish my children to see, it's simply disgustin, the most urgly ape of a man with criminal, dubious, wicked and murderious character.a wicked man with no respect and fear for GOD and zero feelings towards man, he is not fit to head a household not to talk of leading a country, dirty from insideout.obasajo should go and bury himself at Ota where he can not make a succsses or feed ota town with all the loot of his operation feed the nation personalised

I see Doggy Style. I heard some real bad story about this man and a sixteen year old Igbo girl some years ago from the girl's family members. He is bad news to women. Do he even realize that this is someones wife, mother, sister etc.

Disgusting and in my own definition of filth, gross to the max. Now is that Presidential? Or just Obasanjo's inability to control his erogenous zone.
That was no hug.I see a President who is imposing his masculinity, brushing off his slightly endowed joy stick to a graceful/elegant and helpless Ekpo. I ask, is that really necessary? Read my input above about Obasanjo resemblance of a Prime mate.
