We have all heard about fantastic plans to set up an Igbo newspaper or is it an Igbo publishing house. While our Igbo journalists wait, the Hausa-Fulani have spurned yet another paper. This time, they called it "CRYSTAL."
It is crystal clear that the Hausa-Fulani are defeating Nd'Igbo in the newspaper game (sorry, I mean war). Why? What do Hausa-Fulani journalists know about publishing that their Igbo counterparts don't?

Dikeanatuegwu: "Fantastic plans," indeed. Was it not long ago the efulefus made an attempt to defraud people in the name of establishing Igbo newspaper? Amazingly, these crackpot internet traders know how to deal with the issue--run their mouth all day blaming one another.
But ironically, these efulefus cannot be trusted once it comes to any kind of financial dealings. Also, they do not know how to keep quiet. Hold a conversation with someone like Okenwa Nwosu, by the time you know it, he is on the phone with Mobolaji Aluko revealing all kinds of information. Or with M.O. Ene. Or with Uju Afulezi. Supposedly, these are the men to lead us to the promise land. Imagine.
To be honest, I have no idea where we are heading to, from what I have seen, so far. But the fact is, we the younger generation must not give up. We must continue to tell the old brigade in-their-face that their time is up, and that it is time to effect change.

Tell me about it. Nd'Igbo are a bunch of braggarts. When Rodent Abati savaged Igbo in his "Obasanjo, Secession and the Secessionists," there was a flurry of written reactions all over the place. Some of the write-ups even dwelled on the quality of Abati's written English. But, Abati had already done the damage and he had moved on. All the Igbo noises were made at lesser and poorly visited fora.
I recall pointing out at the time that Nd'Igbo lacked a platform comparable to the Guardian to make their case. When I said Guardian, I was not referring to Guardian - the hardcopy. I was referring to Guardian Internet. I do not know a single Igbo in Diaspora who gets his/her news from a hardcopy of the Guardian. We are all Internet junkies. The Internet is where we get our news.
Today, you will notice that gamji.com, the hausa-fulani caliphate's Internet address, is the Internet home of the "Triumph" newspaper, the "Trumpet," and the "Crystal" magazine. Yet, Nd'Igbo are busy congratulating themselves. They claim to be the technological backbone of that wretched country. As I write, there is neither an Igbo answer to the Guardian nor to gamji.com.
When I saw some former members of this forum trying to collect money from Igbo people allegedly for setting up an Igbo newspaper, I laughed. Who knows how much money was actually raised and what became of the money?
It is really amazing how these bunch of idiots, who have nothing to offer but to run their dirty mouths in Yahoogroups.com from morning till night saying the same thing over and over again. But when it comes to action, you see all of them dodging to save their head like in a battlefield.
Of course, NdiIgbo "lacked platform." Abati's incoherent and mischievous piece,Obasanjo, Secession and the Secessionist wasn't the first Guardian article to insult NdiIgbo. He has done it several times and has gotten away with it. Sellouts like Okenwa Nwosu who dines and wines with the Ismael Iroh guy of Gamji and Mobolaji Aluko on a regular basis, would go to Igbo Forum and expose his buca cavity telling us Abati is free to point out his views. Imagine. Or is it Josh Arinze, who in his rejoiner to Abati's rubbish would give himself a hi-five to have placed Abati where he belongs. Or is it the New Jersey based Ndiribe Ndiribe who wants to lead but does not know how to go about it. Nonsense
The newspaper thing was an intended fraud by a group of yahooligans. Who would donate a thousand dollars to someone you haven't spoken to or seen face-to-face? I have no idea how much money they raised. But I do know the Boston residents were the brains behind the money collections. Ask them.
