How often do you hear or read an article and find the phrases of the writer or speaker quite smashing,sometimes shocking and eloquently with an exclamation point? Some quotes can be very meaningful, reflecting the speakers true grit of intellectual know how and some latently and wantonly are meant to hurt like our infamous Obasanjo. We have come to liken him as a President with short circuit intelligence and unclassy attitude towards a common Nigerian. If you know of any quote from your hero, mentor or foe; however common the person, we would like to read it. Here is mine.

"Shut Up woman" [2002] Obasajo on a woman who has just lost her child as result of neglect by the Army
"If any Nigerian has evidence of looting by IBB I say come forward" [2001]: OBASNAJO implying that IBB is untouchable.
"Nice and friendly as they are, the Yorubas have no sense of fraternity with other ethnic group in Nigeria when it comes to federal appointment" Professor Nwabueze [Sec Gen of Ohaneze] reacting to Obasanjo federal appointment as pure ethnic 2002

They call her “First Lady”. Then when you realise she is the fourth or is it fifth wife of the man, you then wonder – how come she is called “the First Lady”, that is when it gets home to you she is from the Federal Republic of nigeria.
Then it makes sense, only in nigeria, will a fifth wife, be called a “First Lady”. Ynk! Ynk!!

"The impeachement against me is a joke" Obasanjo on the state of the nation referring to the House as bunch of clawns with no clout. The next day, the Senate angered by his statement backed the House to impeach Obasanjo.
If you examine the above statement by this man, it tells you volumes about his intelligence and lack of profesional conduct. He thinks impeachement is a soldiers' story. It is about checks and balances[law of the land]not from the barrel of the gun. I would have hoped he consulted God before the state of the nation address. It is not over until the MPs say so, stupid.

Well, Mr President your dead wrong, if that is the best defense you can come up with. You do not have to prove lack of delibration, profit or intent as a defense to violate the constitution. The proximate cause of most violations of the constitution that result to impeachment is not following the due process. Interpretation of the law - the due process = Impeachment. Intent is not required. Where is your Attorney General?

Obasanjo previously in 2001 denied there was no "pact' with the North as testified by Sunny Okoqwu. In 2002, Obasanjo claimed there was a " Pact" but denied a part of it.
