Nigerians still retain a painful memory of how the police, under Sunday Adewusi, used the armoured tanks they were given in the eighties to help subvert the will of the people in the general elections of 1983. As the Tribune pointed out, tanks don’t stop robbers. Only good intelligence and good communications do. - MOHAMMED HARUNA
Does this mean that the adewusi man is a blockhead?

awusa boy idi bin daud is that you or the son of the embezzler pretending to be you? You know that I still retain the capacity to run you two stooges over without batting an eyelid. littleboyz must be into gay stuff because he's always talking about it. Could you be the other missing nexus?

littleboyz, I already said let the so-called minorities of the south take over as long as idi bin daud and his smelly lunatics do not get close to that office in my lifetime again. Speaking for self, I do not give a rat ass damn about 2007 and Igbo efulefu presidency. Give me Biafra or nothing. Hehehe!

quote:
*That we are shocked, and therefore condemn, in its entirety, the clear attempts at polarizing Nigeria into North and South, which we understand are indications of stiff arrogance carelessly exhibited and indeed directed at elements, groups and institutions in Southern states of Nigeria in the last few weeks;

*That we are baffled by this unbecoming stance and insistence of some political leaders from the Northern states of Nigeria that national political leadership, and indeed power, should be taken back to the North just after a mere eight years of a Southern Nigerian holding the power in over 45 years, an attitude we understand to represent a certain Northern position to keep the Southerners in perpetual political servitude;

*That while the South, particularly the South-South, produces over 85 per cent of the national resources, it is surprising that the North objects to the humble and modest demand of a mere compensatory share;

*That in effect, it is clearly known to all Nigerians, and indeed any interested party or observer, that the North held the presidency for 35 of the 45 years of independence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and cannot be justifiably asking for a return of the same power after a mere eight years (by 2007) it has been held by a Southerner;

*That restated historically and anchored on unimpeachable facts, the presidency and ultimate executive leadership of Nigeria, had been held as follows: North-Central: 18 years; North-West: 11 years; North-East: six years (total of 35 years); South-West: nine years; South-East: six months; South-South: Nil (total of nine years and six months).

Wouldn’t it be nice for once if our in-house terror mastermind, the awusa boy; idi bin daud could tell us the basis for the brain killers from his side of the divide to want to be given another hundred year free reign at the collective expense of the entire southern nigeria? His northern arab/fulani ants might well kiss good bye to governance as they’re used to cause it ain’t happening again. You betcha!

He [obasanjo - MeB] mentioned four of his appointees [all Igbo - MeB] that have “excelled”. This, to him, meant that he was operating at above average! If it is above average for only four of 35 ministers to have performed, it means that in a class in which only four of 35 students pass their promotional exam, their wretched teacher must be promoted to school principal. In Nigeria failure leads to reward. “Baptism of fire” - Chuks Iloegbunam .
Mazi Iloegbunam said this in reference to the impending elevation of the awusa man who ran NFA underground and out of next year’s World Cup to chairmanship position despite his laughable performance as director or whatever. How many times will the Igbo remind people that the dawadawa land is a place for mediocrity?

After Jonathan Gooodluck bent over for the ingratitude alami when he should’ve brushed the thief aside months ago as popular opinion reflected, his pay back is the gibberish you’re about to read. It’s unfortunate that Goodluck could not smell chaff when one in the person of the thief, alami creeped closer. alami the six months internet dokinta is a quack by every means.

orji kalu's dull brains in action:

quote:
Anybody who wants to violate the law, I will help him the more. Nobody will violate the law. “This is the truth, and I want you to quote me correctly. Nobody can declare himself president illegally. If you do an illegal statement, we will support you with an illegal statement. “I want to be a man that respects whatever that is good. So, if anybody thinks that he can disrespect the law, he can disrespect the orders of the Supreme Court, I will help him to do it. I will mobilise the people against him. Rigging election is like looting my property. If you loot, I will also loot.” – orji kalu
"If you loot, I will also loot.” If obasanjo steals money belonging to nigeria as a whole, orji's response would be to steal Igbo/Abia money? This is what a commentary from someone who wants to be respected as a serious presidential contender amounts to. And I'm not expected to be offended?

quote:
Why is it, that Governor Kalu Orji is frequently visiting the United States to tout himself as a presidential candidate, when the local government council in Aba, Governor Orji’s domain, cannot remove garbage from the streets of Aba? Why is it, that Governor Orji has support for his Sun newspapers and Slok Airlines, when erosion has taken over major roads in Aba, roads that are municipal or local government roads and NOT federal roads!

How does Governor Kalu Orji, alias “blabber-mouth” plan to be a good president? When he currently presides, over a state, his small domain, where garbage collection, removal and disposal is not tackled by the local government or municipal authorities, and the state government of Governor blabber-mouth does nothing? – Paul Adujie

Will orji kalu attack dogs go after the author of this quote too and when? We’re all ears and anya anya! While on it, I’ll like our brother markus whom I bear no grudges against as my beef is with orji kalu to tell us if it was really necessary for the area-boy to invite ibb and buhari to Umuahia to further rubbish the memories of those who died in the Biafran war of survival?

The end of year will be incomplete if highlights of some comments are skipped. So here are for you to tinker with as we hope for better years for all the different nations of nigeria.
quote:
The northern military establishment brought Obasanjo and made him representative of the Yoruba nation in the share of the spoil of the war effort. Hence his second- in command position to Murtala Mohammed after the change of baton with Yakubu Gowon.

When Mohammed was paid back on his atrocious behavior and his devilish activities in Asaba during that genocidal war against Ndigbo, on February 13, 1976, again the northern military establishment felt that they should make him (Obasanjo) the titular head of state ( to keep the Yorubas as the junior partner) who can only act when the defacto military leader Yar' dua, ordered him to do so. Then on October 1, 1979, an opportunity came for him to escape being murdered by the untrained, uneducated and corruption infested northern military, he quickly handed over to Shehu Shagari. He had no choice or else he would have been finished. As a trade off, he was allowed to take home his own share of the loot from UPE contract of 1976, the contract from the laying of oil pipes from Port Harcourt and Warri to the northern Nigeria including the establishment of oil refinery in Kaduna, to operate his farm at Otta. – Chidi Eze

What follows is statement by a brilliant mind, Okey Ndibe:
quote:
The Daily Independent of Tuesday, December 27, provided some corrobation for Adedibu's account. Hosting Adedibu at a communal event in his hometown, President Obasanjo described the man who has instigated bloodshed in Oyo as "a force to reckon with both in Ibadan and the whole of Oyo State." The president's constitutional mandate is to uphold law and order. By admiring a man like Adedibu, the president not only betrayed his oath of office, he raised disturbing questions about the location of his soul vis a vis the mess in Oyo.
Paul Adujie comes in;
quote:
I suppose that most Nigerians have during the military government administrations in Nigeria, has gotten Nigerians accustomed to expecting a unitary form of government actions, in a purely federal setting and systems! For decades, Nigerians expected and received federally mandated rules and command-performance of military administrators and so, we now expect the same in a democratic civilian government in a federal system?

This complete misunderstanding, misperception and even ignorance, probably explains why the federal government of President Obasanjo is blamed by so many Nigerians for matters and issues that are clearly state matters, that are clearly local government or municipal province and exclusive preserves, even mundane municipal issues such as garbage collection, garbage haul and disposal.

Little wonder then, that so many Nigerians are unwilling or unaware, that they ought to hold their governors’ feet to the fire for local issues, and further hold the feet of their local government councilors and ward members and local council chairpersons accountable for the existence or provision of local public infrastructures and social amenities, instead, we have Nigerians always accusing the federal government, when in fact, the issue is just a mere failure on the part of a local government or a state authority to live to its bidding and responsibility. – Paul Adujie

Excellent point however Adujie forgot to also explain why the obasanjo led government at the center always encroaches into the domains of state governors to bark unending orders. He should tell us where in the constitution that an ordinary party chairman in obasanjo’s party secured the power to order governors around. Please Paul tell us also why it’s ok for obasanjo to dabble on security matters of states (Anambra) despite the constitutional provision for such to be under the governors as the security chiefs of their individual states. With aremu’s constant stepping out of bounds he invites the perception that he’s responsible for things as little as garbage collection in all areas as Paul pointed out.

Here’s ogbeh the double talker trying to find ‘honor’ among thieves. Where was this Johnny-Come-Lately apostle when his democratic spirit was in dire need?
quote:
Ogbeh, who said this while reacting to a statement credited to Anenih in which he blamed the former PDP chairman for the current crisis being faced over the zoning of the Presidency, said Anenih would need to check his "arrogance and dishonour, which, is killing the PDP.”
Hear Rueben Abati:
quote:
Civil society organisations cannot afford to give up. Let no one be persuaded that the National Executive Council of the PDP means well. Until President Obasanjo leaves in 2007, every group in society must begin to shout from the rooftops that Nigeria is bigger than one man, that politics should be about ideas not personalities, and that there is nothing that President Obasanjo has not been able to achieve in the last six years that he would be able to put on the ground by remaining in power against the wishes of the people…
As it were, the future of Nigeria rests on the shoulders of all right-thinking members of society. We must insist that the National Assembly and all men of power wherever they may be, who can truncate the course of history must join our ranks.
And oh, if they do not, Lord Almighty, the owner of the earth and all that is within it, who in his infinite Grace has created Nigeria and all that is in it, for the benefit of the people, and not for one man or cabal, so that we may prosper and not perish, let them, all the enemies of stability and good governance, reap the whirlwind. Our Lord and our Father, may that whirlwind come from the hottest part of the universe and may it be of general application upon their heads...Thank you Lord for you have answered our prayers...

AMEN!!
quote:
THISDAY gathered that Odu’a Investment Company Limited, the majority shareholders (controlling 40 per cent) in Wema Bank was compelled to appeal to the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayo Fayose, to release Omoyemi following the refusal of the apex bank to approve the earlier candidate the bank forwarded as its Managing Director.

the 61 year old Wema Bank ,with its age and size, has over the years been recording a dismal financial performance

Nothing new here, it’s the same incompetent types that’s ruining nigeria.

Now the bombshell!!

quote:
Senator Kuta asks justice minister to resign From Alifa Daniel, Abuja
THE Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Bayo Ojo (SAN), was yesterday accused of committing a "constitutional blunder" for which he should resign his appointment.
According to Senator Idris Kuta, the bill which is seeking to establish a Nigerian National Commission for (UNESCO) required the concurrence of the State Houses of Assembly before it is sent to the National Assembly.

Kuta, in his contribution to the bill, observed that Ojo had railroaded the bill through state Houses of Assembly direct to the National Assembly, thereby portray his "incompetence", and for which he should resign.

When an Awusa who under normal order should be taught by a Yoroba begins to point out the educational folly of a Yoroba, then things have in fact scattered apart in that clownish land of theirs.

Wishing every mind that recognizes injustice and is against it better New Year.

Continuing;

quote:
I led car snatchers to kill owner—POLICE CoRporal By Kingsley Omonobi Posted to the Web: Friday, December 16, 2005

ABUJA — “I WAS in my Mobile Police uniform. I flagged down the car just by the National Stadium, pretending that I wanted a ride. The car owner stopped and assisted me. Two of the guys with me sat at the back while I sat in the front. On the way (Airport Road), I told him (the Driver) I was a member of a Task Force and asked him to stop. I took him into the bush and committed (killed him). I then took his car to Sokoto to sell it before I was arrested.”

This was the shocking confession of a corporal in the Police Mobile Force, Mopol 21 Squadron, Abuja while narrating how he led a team of car snatchers to snuff out the life of a good Samaritan who offered him a ride in Abuja.

Corroborating the killing, an accomplice, Chinedu Eze, who claimed to be an employee of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) at Jabi, said: “I am a driver by profession. I met Corporal Mangs through Kayode who is a friend of Mopol. On the said day, I didn’t know what the plan was. We were standing on the road with Corporal Mangs and the man in a Toyota Camry decided to stop to give the officer a ride….

The so-called nigerian tripod in action, Corporal Mangs – Awusa; Chinedu Eze – Igbo; Kayode – Yoroba. Want more? Unbelievable happenings!

quote:
The Permanent Secretary and the Aviation Director may not have caused the air crash, but their failure to do their job may have contributed to the failures in the aviation sector. But must we lose close to 250 lives before the President realises that wrong pegs in wrong holes must be turned adrift? The Senate has been asking the President to fire the Minister of Aviation as well. But I doubt if Babalola Borishade would be fired. His spin-doctors are already saying that he inherited the problems in the aviation sector, he did not create them.

It is also being said that the President will not fire him because he is loyal. After all, didn't the President present him before the National Assembly three times before his nomination was approved? If the President wants Borishade as Minister, there may be nothing that anyone can do about that. But let the President and everyone note this: in every Ministry that the man has served, there have been problems. When he was Minister of Education, that sector was almost completely shut down at the tertiary level. – Reuben Abati

Borishade’s claim to inheriting a disjointed aviation ministry does not hold water and shouldn’t. When this mediocre couldn’t turn around something he inherited that's in bad shape, what should follow is; resignation or be fired and perhaps tried and jailed. So sir, where do you fall?

If one fails to apply a little restraint he risks going bunkers due to the awusa distortion of all known facts. Tell you what, today being it for me for the year a conscious decision to end on a bang is therefore appropriate.

Hear Ikechukwu W. Agbor, another Igbo Great,a Wireless Telephony Engineer and the author, Kisses from America (at Borders Book Stores) on the bogus population claim of the arabists:

quote:
The liberalization of telecommunications in Nigeria, as with data from JAMB statistics and enrollment in both primary and secondary schools, do not dissuade the Northern fixation with a skewed superior population density. They dismiss the data of school enrollment and JAMB as a consequence of their late arrival into the adoption of western education. What answer would they then provide for the low teledensity of the entire North, as the rollout and implementation of the GSM networks continue?
What freaking lie would they provide for this other than acknowledge the truth that their total population count couldn’t be more than 11 million and I’m being way too liberal here. Obasanjo should then use his time in office to set the twisted record straight once and finally for these arab fulani to get it that they cannot be more populated than an area (the entire south) with dense rainforests compared to the arid northern desert.

Mz MeBiafran:

That kai-kai republic is full of bizarre, weird logic that can never allow it see the light of day. Why? Because the moment the failed banana republic begins to face up to rational thinking to improve itself, the moment Igbo/Biafra takes control and yoroba/awusa mismanagement and incompetence recede. I believe they prefer the crude status quo of governance by pay-offs and bribery, than to see the ascendancy of enlightened, progressive and productive Igbo/Biafran culture and rule.

That's yoroba/awusa backwardness and tribalism for you!

Hail Biafra!!

Nwa nnaa, the nigerian "bizarre, weird logic" continues in 2006.

quote:
According to Mbadinuju’s counsel, he told the court that Vincent Igwe lacked the locus to come to court and that the court should not only discountenance the application but also go ahead to deliver its scheduled ruling on the bail application already argued before it last week.

But Chuka Obele Chuka would not allow the magistrate to go ahead with the ruling as he said having raised the issue of jurisdiction, the court was bound to hear him and decide the fate of his application first. The development made the court change its mind and decided to hear the application. But just as Obele Chuka was about making his submission, counsel to the ex-governor rose to object while Mr Festus Keyamo, representing Anyiego, in the case intervened that the court must tread with care by ruling on the application first otherwise any appeal against its ruling would succeed.

Keyamo said even if the application by Vincent Igwe was useless, the court must rule on it and advised that the court should do that immediately. With the submission of Keyamo, the chief magistrate settled down to prepare his ruling to the chagrin of Chuka Obele Chuka who asked the court what it wanted to rule on when he had not argued his application.

The development forced the court to stand the matter down for 10 minutes to decide on what to do. But the presiding chief magistrate did not return to his seat until 40 minutes after when he dismissed the application by Chuka Obele Chuka and went ahead to deliver the scheduled ruling on the bail application.

Imagine that a whole magistrate with some reasonable exposure to law was ready to rule on a matter before the argument is presented by the applicant. Haba!

“Chuka Obele Chuka who asked the court what it wanted to rule on when he had not argued his application.”

Oh yeah? Goodmoring to you at 7 pm as my granny used to say to someone who just discovered the truth after numerous attempts to shove it in. Beats me! His one-nigeria agenda led us to the stagnated position of today.

On Nwakanma, you don't find it curious that he has never publicly identified with any of the pro Igbo or pro Biafran groups in the past even when it was clear that some of those groups would have benefited from his so called advocacy. Why did he choose to hide in the yahoo Igbo forum restricted to Nd'Igbo instead of writing his articles in vehicles where they would be seen by a larger audience? Were his articles targeted specifically at Nd'Igbo? Is he an Orji Uzor Kalu who will say one thing in Aba and head straight to Sokoto/Maiduguri to apologise? - Ochu
I know someone who perhaps was a mentor to and the inventor of orji kalu’s tactics, yasar arafat, who employed the same deceitful antics to tell the world one thing as exposed by the Israeli government then turn around and enjoin his folks in arabic to kill and destroy anything Jew and western.
