it is important to note that that the nigerian army has killed at least 100x the number of people killed through out the abacha era. we have to look and understand that the army killings should be taken seriously as it could be your village tommorrow. this is the reason law has to be enforced and no one should be above the law more so the law enforcement officers them selves areinvolved where is our senate and house where are the judges and gani this is genocide. it needs to be punished.

the reason the muslims in the north can come out and kill at random is the mere fact that no one is arrested and convicted of these crimes against humanity.

shame on the nigerian government and all its officials for not investigating and bringing the guilty to justice. instead we hear the nonesense about dele and bola just 2 individuals when whole villages and thousands of civilians have been slaugthered in cold blood and buried in unmarked graves.

this is a grave injustice and is being covered up by those in the highest caders of government.I am shocked that the US and all the western countries have overlooked this because the present nigerian government is a supporter in the war on terrorism.

my heart bleeds for the poor people who where killed needlessly and have been forgotten by us because they are poor

The heading of your topic is grossly misleading sir.

The difference between the killings in the Abacha regime and the "killings" currently is that the former were mostly pre-meditated and state sanctioned whereas most of the "killings" you refer during Obasanjo's tenure have been brought about by communal violence and the misguided efforts of some to undermine constituted authority. Agreed, there have been a few excesses in the understandable effort by government to restore law and order.

There is no comparison here, it's chalk and cheese.

Have a nice day sir.

You are either being intentionally mischevious or completely brain dead. Only a moron will justify the killing of innocent people in Obigbo, Okigwe, Odi,Zaki Biam etc.on the orders or that ape with the excuse of opposing constituted authority.

In your idiotic world communal uprisings are resolved by mass murder orchestrated by government right ? I hope you get what you prescribe for others.

Opon Ifa:

You are a sick man. In fact, the rubbish coming out from your dirty mouth is really nauseating. So if the Abacha era killings was premeditated which describes him as a demon, Obasanjo is then justified for his diabolical acts in Odi and Choba, right? Fool!

Was the attack on Odi not pre-planned? Moron!
