Pre-paid NEPA Metres Underway

Folks,

Another fly by the seat of your pants decision (not a policy, government policy is usually well thought out).

Someone please ask this idiot what the end state of this proposal is. Will it eliminate the constant power outages currently stifling economic activities and making life miserable for millions? Or is this another lucrative scheme for Arewa and his cronies to be used in keeping Biafrans in economic bondage?

I wonder how many billions it will cost to install the meters and how many jobs that would create (eliminate) from the already dead economy.

Inquiry minds want to know Mr. Minister! I strongly suggest you bench mark proven working process/policy not one that would contibute to making life even more misrable for the poor!

I would like ask this moron NEPA guy Bisi Ogunleye, what happens to the pre-paid when NEPA took lights for days, does the consumer receive refund?. Does consumers receive refund for half current, which is a daily occurance, does the consumers receive refund when powerlines fall and keep people darks for weeks or Month. My opinion this government trying to play 419 on the people.

Obasanjo and his Minister are just throwing their hands that they don't have any idea or solution. Lets just breakup this British experiment that have lasted 88 years. This experiement that have not served anybody well.

No job will be created and no project will be carried out. This is the era of lootocracy, and you bet, Bisi is smiling to the bank. That's the way it works, folks.

Ask bababoyz.

Pre-paid meters are necessary because too often the money NEPA spent on those meters are never recouped. People just refuse to pay their electric bills.

Olusola:

Dummy, and what is the payment track record of your so called government? They need to concentrate on getting the so-called government to pay their bills as budgeted for or as stipulated on that document full of lies they call budget!

Haven't you heard of leadership from the front? This thief is interested in squeezing the life out of the poor while the big elephant keeps getting bigger. I say, get Arewa and his Cronies out of people's life and let them decide for themselves.

Am sorry but your dumb ass should have seen this as another means of government control! Privatize the darn thing, government should not be involved in retail buying and selling of anything.

The only function of government in the civilized world is the security of life and property; anything more, leads to corruption!

Ever heard of a referendum? Let the people decide if meter is the best solution for power outages. Let the people decide if privatization (selling of NEPA) is the solution to power outages. Let the people decide how they, the people want to live, in light or darkness.

So far, the crooks in government have left them in ever lasting darkness!

Insanity=Nigeria! Doing the same thing, the same way, over and over again, expecting a different outcome. Go figure!
