I say Yes. After reading the article below I know most will join me.
It seems that Nigeria can't get anything done right especially under the leadership of Obasonjo. He seems to let the religious fanatics run wild unchecked. If this was to occur in Biafra Land, Obasonjo will not hesitate a minute before sending the military to killed off the Igbos.

Twelve killed in Miss World riots

At least 12 people have been killed in the Nigerian city of Kaduna after protests against next month's Miss World beauty competition descended into bloody violence.

Many more are also believed to have died, after thousands of Muslim youths rampaged through the suburbs of the city, erecting barricades of burning tyres, setting fire to buildings, and attacking churches.

The authorities in the northern city have declared a curfew with immediate effect.

Protests started after the newspaper ThisDay published an article which said that the Prophet Mohammed would probably have chosen to marry one of the contestants if he had witnessed the beauty pageant, which Nigeria is hosting next month.

Kaduna is one of Nigeria's most volatile cities, and has been largely segregated into Christian and Muslim areas since clashes two years ago, in which more than 2,000 people died.

NO

They should move the venue to Zamfara. Let the sky fall.

"ALLAHU-AKBAR" , No way. They would be giving in to their goddamned demand. I know some would fancy the move because we are not sensitive to their pride and prejudice. It would not be for the best interest of humanity to give them any slightest taste of victory. I agree with the writer of THISDAY , it will not be the proudest day for Mohammed if the beauty is canceled. Infact, he will rather they move it north. 92 beautiful girls is enough to make him squirt and exhale. After all, what do you expect from a Prophet whose idea of manhood is taking in more than 10 wivies.

Note: Isioma is a journalist not a story teller. Whoever blames her for the satanic incident is an injustice to freedom of expression

I say HELL NO.
Cancelling the contest will only give these satanic people (muslims) more power than they deserve. I'm getting sick and tired of these bastard muslims murdering people from Isreal, Sudan, Pakistan, India to Biafranigeria whenever they feel like.
I can careless if they are against the contest afterall Biafranigeria is not a muslim state and the muslims were never born to rule and control us.

I hope the Christians in Kaduna will retaliate with full force. Nothing whatsoever should justify the slaugtering of innocent Christains going about their business just because the Hausa/Mulsims are unhappy about the Miss world contest or the funny statemet made by Isioma. If Biafrans as usuall are among the dead then I suggest [Mad] that our youths from Aba to Akwaibom start getting ready for reprisals against the parasitic bloodsucking retards.

Abeg, let the damn thing go on. The Hausas can go to hell.

No way! Those blood-thirsty muslim bastards must decide if they want to stay in the same country with non-muslims or if they want to join their relatives in the Sahara Desert where thay can cry Allh Akbar all day. They have now slaughtered more than 100 people because a reporter said something about some Arab guy whose descendants were sent to conquer and enslave the North.

Here is the latest from BBC, on the Miss World riots.
quote:
A Red Cross official in Nigeria says at least 100 people have been killed in riots in the city of Kaduna started by Muslim youths angered by the Miss World contest.
A heavy security presence has been imposed on the streets of the northern Nigerian city after two days of protests.

We should prepare to teach these muslim barbarians a final lesson through military defeat.

What a crappy joke of a country. Not too long ago, Miss World, Agbani Darego, said that the contest would boost tourism in Biafranigeria.
quote:
She was optimistic that the country would be able to hold a spectacular show that would prove to the world over that Nigeria is a beautiful country, contrary to the bad impression people have had about its past
Spectacular indeed. Was it not two days ago that Al-Qaeda threatened that there would be a "spectacular" attack? Now, we know.

NOOOOO! It was not religion but God-given beauty which was well exploited by the little queen from Buguma, Rivers State that brought the event to goddamed Nigeria.

Haven said the above, Isioma like each and every one us should learn next time to practice her proffession with DECORUM and RESPONSIBILITY.

Even in the freest empires (like the good old US), freedom of speech like all other freedoms comes with a PRICE and with RESPONSIBILITY.

That much Nduka Obaigbina, the envy of most Nigerian and foreign journalist admitted in his recent interview with the BBC.

Nduka was talking for his own skin and wallet.

It is high time those rascals allowed their deities to fend for themselves. The era of converting people to your idealogy by the sword ended when Osama Bin Laden lost his grip of Afghanistan.

The BiafraNigerian muslims will NOT win the present war.

"Nduka was talking for his own skin and wallet."---Ohafia.

All,
Nduka may be saving his skin and wallet as Ohafia suggested. But to me, he may also be the best tactitian who would rather live to fight another day and with GOOD REASON and DEFINED CAUSE.

If there's anything, the hosting or not of the Miss World peageant should NOT be the REASON Igbos should allow themselves to be used as feeder-fonder by the ruling class to appease those that fill their pockets.

Be sure that when the proper REASON for WAR comes up, the foot soldiers will do the ACTING and then it will be those who now hold the Igbo nation to ransome - both the selfish local and national Igbo "representatives" and their collaborators that will be doing the complaining.

My case (and I guess so is with Nduka's) is that neither religious affiliation nor place of origin should be the criteria for stopping us from fighting our enemies from within and without.

Ekelekwam gi. Even if you don't talk, those jihadists will still slaughter you. It is all they live for. I still maintain that Nduka and his thisday team are trying too hard to keep their paper.

quote:
This is the gem:We therefore seek the understanding of our Muslim brothers and sisters and sincerely hope that in the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan, and in the interest of our beloved country, Nigeria, we would show forgiveness and understanding.

In the interest of their great country BiafraNigeria huh? What does a jihadist care about a mechanical coalition and contraption that is only great when someone says so on paper. You have to conquer your muslim brothers to make them live in peace with you. That is what the great Yoruba man Balogun did.

The Federal Government through Ikpatt's brother has started calling for heads. The same bunch that kept quiet when jihadists went on rampage because of an eclipse.

Freedom of expression is the best damn faculty given to us and NWOARA to inform, entertain and resist. This is one good reason he is here.
My view is, without deviation, without provocation, without exception, without ifs, or whereases, freedom of speech is no preservation of free mind. Nduka should know better that the liberty of which he makes a living from is the palladium of all civil rights. Isioma was not only licensed to exercise that right, she did a damn good job doing it. Nduka should simply respect that and heal his goddamned libral feelings for the Desert rats.

NOOO, Not only that the beauty competition should continue but should also hold in every part of the country, if Nigeria is one country, then, those damsels should go to any part of Nigeria they so wished. in addition, those AIKAIDA in the islamic republic should go ahead and stone that woman or else, they should bury thier faceses in shame.I hope that Mr Bush and his partner Mr Putin are watching as events unfold in a land that has the biggest number of alquaida fellowship in the world.

When Beauty Is Shunned

Once again Nigeria is making an international headline of sorts. This presents a public relations opportunity to highlight the stark differences of ideology, which augurs well for the aspirations of those who seek a redress of the chaotic status-quo.

Suffice it to say that in this heightened atmospherics of beauty and grace, Nigeria proudly displays her brazenfaced ignonimy and disgrace.

These pictures could easily be a theme for Beauty and the Beast.

Perhaps, the Sharia hoodlums have finally found the excuse they need to run Obusonjo out of Abuja. There is nothing that anyone could have done to prevent those savages from what they are doing. The Hausa-Fulani man has NEVER needed a good excuse to kill. Like his Arab brother, he just does it. Those people are animals and we need to rid ourselves of them permanently. Biafra is the only answer.

I guess I'm entitled to change my mind. hearing from differing views tends to do that to me. I now say NOOOOO! to cancelling the beauty contest.

I was speaking out of annoyance when I said yes to cancellation because I wanted Nigerian government to suffer the embarrasment. Now that I see that the girls/contestants will be the one suffering and religious fanatics would be made to look like they won, I change my mind.
However, the issue remains what is Obasonjo doing about it. Why is not sending the troops in to killed them Jahidits. Would he have waited this long is this happened in a Biafran State or a non Northern or Yoruba states? Responses please?

Is Nduka and Isioma Igbos or Anioma/Ikwere? I will hate for those hoodlums to mistake them for Igbo and kill "proud Igbo sons/daughters". P.S this posting recognizes that even in these area mentioned, we have proud Igbos. Peace out.

Those Muslim hoodlums are jealous because they could not get their uncircumcised penis to any of those beauty queens. I bet if the light is turned off those same Muslims will begging to get a piece. I support the author of the article that Mohammed could have gotten a bride out of those beauty queens.

The BBC reports that
quote:
Hundreds of Muslim youths have gone on the rampage in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, following Friday prayers.
The BBC's Haruna Bahago in Abuja says people armed with sticks, daggers and knives set fire to vehicles and attacked anyone they suspected of being Christian

If Islamic “youths” (substitute “murderers”) are always going on a rampage following “Friday prayers,” it does not take a genius to know what the imam told them during those "prayers." It has been said before that Islam is a violent and evil religion. Allah is a violent and evil god, and it is criminal that some of our people continue to think that we can work out any meaningful relationship with these murderous nomads.

Look at this building that is the symbol of Abuja, your country's capital. Does that not look like a picture from Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan? Biafran oil money paid for that building.

As we have said before, those Igbo people who ignored previous warnings to go back to Biafra should blame themselves for whatever happens to them during this madness.

Meanwhile, while that Islamic architecture still stands in Abuja, they have razed this Church to the ground.

I don't know where you are coming from saying what you said about me. I have always preached non-violence. That is why I believe in the ACTUALIZATION OF BIAFRA BY NON-VIOLENCE MEANS. Did you see me say anything different anywhere?

My question to you is where were you when Igbos were killed and when Obasonjo sent the troops to kill those innocent civilains. Did I hear you speak out against those lost lives? If anyone is a hypocrite it is you!!

There will be no Miss World Contest in BiafraNigeria

The issue of this thread has become moot because the organizers of Miss World have moved the venue to London. Obasanjo has failed the country, and he has shown that he is incapable of maintaining order in the northern part of the country. And, this man wants a second term as president? He will find himself in a body bag if he persists in that blind ambition.

But for the unfortunate loss of lives involved, we have dicovered through unintended circumstances that there are some other strategies to use in breaking that country to smithereens in order to achieve Biafra.

The worst strategy for a fighter to wield is hot temper. The intolerance and hot temper of these Nomadic degenerates has made them prone. Let us study them now as they embark on a self destructive path. This orgy of violence has become addictive for them, they can't help themselves anymore and are doomed.

The clock of Biafra actualization ticks closer. I say hold more paegents like this. In fact let us begin to organize more attention getting schemes for these idiots, it does not take much to spark them off.

Shame on Genocide Matthew Aremu Obtusanjo, A Coward in the North, and a thug in the South. While Obasanjo is responsible for the deaths of more Southern BiafraNigerians than any other peace-time dictator, including Abacha, IBB, and Buhari combined, Obasanjo is now singularly responsible for establishing once and for all the principle that the presidency of a southern BiafraNigerian is an empty post, so long as the Hausa-Fulani army is not disbanded or destroyed. That is something that those clamoring for an Igbo presidency should keep in mind. Obasanjo is the ceremonial president of BiafraNigeria. Atiku is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, while a collection of forces in the north retain all executive powers. So it shall be until the South, the East, or the West raises an army to defeat the Jihadists once and for all.

Obaseki:
You beat me to it. Thanks though for the breaking news.

All,
what this saga teaches those of us who will be quick to call for "war" is that war is not a gymnastic exercise. Hence, no matter the temptation, it should be considered as the last option.

I had be glad if those who want the Nwaaros to carry the gun had told us what the Igbos and Igboland had to gain - economically, socially or politically were the beauty pageant held as scheduled. Because the last time I checked out, the damsels arrived in Abuja (non Igboland), were hurriedly piloted to Calabar (non Igboland), and from there to the reigning Miss World's home city of Port-Harcourt (non Igboland) and the grand finale was billed for Abuja (non Igboland). Now tell, what consideration was given to where most of us come from that we should be fighting for?

For those who use Bush's "war on terror" as reason why the Igbos should fight to keep the pageant in Nigeria, I challenge them to go to the American achives and tell me a single war the Americans has gone into without their ECONOMIC and POLITICAL interests as the supreme priority.

It pays to think BEFORE acting than to act and think later.
