I would like to direct all the forumites to the continued biased reporting by the BBC in its coverage of Nigeria and the recent riots, most recently in a piece by Dan Isaacs termed "Reflections".
""You go away and have a long think about it, dear," said the fatherly voice of the Irish programme presenter.
And she, and her fellow beauty queens, did just that. And left. On a flight, chartered at very short notice, back to London.
I suppose it's harsh to criticise beauty queens for being in any way responsible for what happened. After all, they're just beauty queens and not politicians.
But there are real politicians here who could and should have known better than to bring an event here that was so evidently provocative to Muslim sensibilities and liable to lead to protests, most particularly during the most holy Muslim month of Ramadan."
In effect, Mr Isaacs, who enjoys all the freedoms of civilized society in the UK,
HAS THE DAMNED AUDACITY OF AN ENGLISH MAN, TO PRESUME TO SUGGEST TO US THAT WE HAVE NO RIGHTS IN OUR OWN HOMELAND,( WHICH WAS FORCIBLY SUBJUGATED UNDER HIS PEOPLE DURING COLONIAL RULE, THEN FORCIBLY ANNEXED WITH THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE AT INDEPENDENCE, THEN FORCIBLY REAMALGAMATED WITH THEM After the Biafran war WITH AGAIN THE AID OF HIS PEOPLE.)
I really feel that all forumites should write letters of protest to the BBC and request for the removal of Isaacs from Nigeria.
In short, we must continue to pursue these individuals who dare to suggest to us that our own rights do not exist, what an insult!

It is a matter of record that the BBC only sends Igbo-haters and Biafra-haters as reporters to BiafraNigeria. After they withdrew that rude idiot, Barnaby Philips, who blamed Igbo people for the Biafran war, they substituted Dan Isaacs, another idiot.
Until Biafrans learn to play the type of "fatwa" politics that Mr. Isaacs is afraid to condemn, the BBC will continue to send Igbophobes to BiafraNigeria to the chagrin of the victims of those Hausa-Fulani barbarians whose criminal behavior the BBC always covers up.

Ijeoma: Mr. Isaacs and bbc network represents the standard British policy on NdiIgbo in particular and Biafra in general, it is as simple as this, they hate you beacuse they want to continue stealing your resorces, because your resources sustains them, beacuse if you rise Africa will rise.did you hear the British goverment say anything about the "FATWA" on Isioma Daniel, have you forgeteen when Mr. Bliar was on visit, while the country burns, he delibratly looked elsewere, posing on camera with Mr.Obasanjo on flowing agbada like a man giving out his daugther to a spouse and having a closed door chat of what Fela of blessed memory will say(they begin to yab themselves). a grand plot only GOD Himself alone can unroot.

I think it will be a good idea for members of this forum to draft a petition letter to BBC as you suggested to have Isaacs removed as their Biafranigeria correspondent.
I would suggest you and Ike draft the letter as soon as possible so the biased jouirnalist and BBC would take note and realize we've been paying attention to their rhetorics.

Thankyou for the responses and the suggestions. I have already sent an email to the BBC in protest in regards to the article by dan Isaacs.
This is the duplicity of the British at work; he has in one blow removed our rights for freedom of speech and expression: vis a vis in the form of a beauty pageant, implicitly supporting the western notion that we are an Islamic state!
(This guy is not only pitiable, but laughable; obviously not a reporter at all!!!)

For those who suggest that the BBC only sends Igbo haters, I would like to remind all of the wonderful human being Frederik Forsythe that reported the truth of the progroms, and subsequent politics leading to the war. He resigned because they REFUSED to air his reports and has always maintained the innocence of the slaughtered (us Biafrans), writing his book which was very straight and true. Kudos to him and ALL who haven't read the book HAVE to!
Well organised ijeomaannuntu. May your Chi guide you onwards!
BY ALL MEANS NECCESSARY
