quote:Ayogu Wins ANPP Guber Primaries in Enugu Amid Protest From Ahamefula Ogbu in Enugu
Amidst a heated atmosphere, the All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP) at the weekend conducted a controversial gubernatorial primary where three contestants boycotted the exercise in protest before Mr. Fidel Ayogu was announced winner of the exercise.
Trouble started at the accreditation point where some people alleged that non-party members had been smuggled into the fold by the machination of one of the aspirants. A fight later ensued among their supporters which delayed the accreditation till late evening.
When calm returned, Chief Anthony Oguguo, Professor Barth Nnaji and Group Captain Joe Orji (rtd) came into the stadium and demanded that identification of delegates be done with passport photographs submitted to the party office.
This was countered by Ayogu who said there was no provision for such screening in the party guidelines and dared anyone try to do the cross checking.
At a point, Ayogu and Orji came close to fist-cuffs but for the timely intervention of their assistants and some security men.
Orji was miffed when after explaining to Ayogu the need for the cross checking of the delegates local government by local government. Ayogu refused and asked him if he was mad and Orji, pointing menacingly at Ayogu demanded if the abuse was directed at him while Ayogu dared him to touch him as stated below.
Orji: There are delegates that are the real ones and are outside. They are even more than the ones inside.
Ayogu: There is no place in the world that passports are used to accredit delegates and it is not part of the guideline.
Orji: You are causing these problems.
Ayogu: Who? Are you mad?
When Prof. Nnaji intervened, an incensed Ayogu again shouted at him, "get away, you call yourself a professor, is that how it is done in America? You don't know anything and you come here to cause trouble, get away."
Read my lips. So long as an Igbo person is anti-Biafra, any and every ambition that person nurses to carry the Igbo flag at the highest level of representation shall end in the gnashing of teeth. If that Igbo does not come to such a pass on his own, then it is our duty to get him there.
Ekwueme is only the most recent example. We are watching with interest the reaction of the Igbo Khmer Rouge and the rest of the Igbo chattering class. The calamitous end of their hero, Alex Ekwueme, and his selfish politics is certainly a failure that they must share with the old man. Those who are too good to support Biafra actualization are unfit to ask for the vote of Biafrans. From this day forward, any Igbo whose ambition to lead Nd’Igbo is premised on the godforsaken notion of one-Nigeria will end up in the trash heap of Igbo history. We did not clear Ike Omar Sanda Nwachukwu out of the way so that an aimless Hausa stooge could replace him as Igbo flag bearer.
With all due respect to the Igbo talking keyboards of Diaspora, OJUKWU could have done better than Ekwueme’s shameful showing. According to Atiku Abubakar, the North had to vote for Obusonjo because,
Those blind fools who parade from discussion group to another supporting a confused and aging politician like Ekwueme will never learn their lessons. Let them come here and shouth one Nigeria again, fools.

The ultimate lesson from the crash of Ekwueme is that it has exposed the intellectual shallowness of the clots that parade themselves as “Igbo elite.” The first responsibility of an elite is to accurately read the political barometer and articulate a prudent course of action not only for the class, but also for the nation.
The yahoo loudmouths misread, misjudged, and misarticulated every aspect of the Igbo political condition, including the likely outcome of the primaries. For them, the campaign was an opportunity to claim political victory simply so they may lord it over their own people. Therefore could not see straight and they could not cut precisely.
Thank God for the emerging Biafra intellectual class, the only sound intellectual voices anywhere in Igboland today. Thank God for I-PAC for delivering a timely message to Nd’Igbo worldwide and for saving us from Igbo riff raffs who masquerade as intellectuals. Electing Ekwueme would have been the biggest mistake by Nd'Igbo in this century. This was the best way to expose his shallowness as a politician. He lost the primaries to a moron.
Long Live Biafra!!!!

Well said. I could not have said better myself.
When I so called Igboman declares his intention to rule a dead country like nigeria in Minna outside of his home State and region, we all knew that was a losing formular. They say charity begins at home. I guess Ekwueme is too old to realize that.
I hope his man enough to apologize then put his tail between his legs and return home to Oko and live out the remaining days of his life.
Ojoto and Leo,
I'm in complete agreement with both of your views.
Can we all agree to work for Ojukwu's candidacy. Win or lose his candidacy will put Biafra Actualization in fore front of the News.

The Diaspora Igbos claims to know everything about Biafranigeria politics. The Diaspora Igbos are the political wizards when it comes to intuition rather than antagonism. The Diaspora Igbos are the smartest of them all knowing when to make the right choice in endorsing a presidential candidare they have envisioned would change the affairs of state, the way business is being run in the so-called "rocks of Aso." The Diaspora Igbos are not gullible and vulnereable, thereby would not allow history repeat itself. The Diaspora Igbos are "magicians" and can perform in knowing when not to dabble into silly poltical tactics. Baloney!
Few days ago, it was reported in the Guardian Newspapers citing full endorsement by Igbo Diaspora for Ekwueme's presidency. Who are these "Igbo Diaspora" behind Ekwueme's presidency? The Efulefu bunch who have problems grand and small dealing with reality? And now that Ekwueme has again been humiliated in the polls, what's the next strategy?
You be the judge as 'am weary of pointing out.

To nwanem Ekwueme, I only have crocodile tears 4 U.
Sometime in 2001, a Yoruba friend – you could never guess will subscribe to OPC matter-of-factly told me he is a member of OPC. At the same time, I was informed of the calibre of Omo Oduduwas that are members.
While the OPC is supposedly getting a monthly subvention from ALL Yoruba and Kwara Governor, Igbo legislators were enacting shoot-at-sight laws in ala-Igbo against "radical" umu-Igbo, MASSOB. They take pride in making rubbish of the sacrifices by members of the organisation. In some quarters, it is un-intellectual to support MASSAOB, not even morally.
I hope all the efulefus’ will live to be sorry.

Onyema you have forced me out of my winter vacation.I was hoping somebody would address the naïve, confused and myopic “Ibo” elite while they are still shedding tears on the second humiliation of their detribalized and acceptable champion. If you go back to the early pages of the great forum you will see that pro Biafrans dealt with the issue of Igbo presidency when it was only in it’s infancy. Then, just like now we made it known to the free loading elite in their yahoo hideouts and wherever they were, that only an efulefu not worth his Igbo name will make the cut of Igbo presidency of BiafraNigeria.
First there was Omar Sanda when it looked like his hausa maternal connections would endear him the PDP ticket, we were told to forget his criminal antecedents during the war and blindly follow him to Abuja. Non cared to check if IOS stood for anything Igbo , he just has an Igbo name so that was good enough. Finally the aging Ekwueme was again fooled into thinking he stood a chance, and to those who have always lectured us on being acceptable a messiah had come. Yes, Ndi awusa have made a mugu out of Ekwueme. You know the rest.
If you as much as mentioned a tried and trusted Igbo like Ojukwu to lead, they would tell you he is not acceptable to the rest of BiafraNigeria. Don’t even talk about the foot soldiers who re-awakened the Biafran spirit back home, we were told they were troublemakers and alaigbo should be rid of them. The Abia house of assembly was advised by the all knowing elite to “sanitize” the land of MASSOB so Ndigbo could once more become acceptable to mainstream BiafraNigeria. They helped Aremu decimate MASSOB while ridiculing Uwazuruike for not having fancy degrees. Today long faces abound the yahoo message boards, but for us it is a step closer to Biafra. Those who told us to seek acceptance have now been rubished by those they want to accept them. Perhaps the elitist crowd will now descend further to supporting the Maduekwe’s and Orji Kalu’s , after all if we support baba he will build the Owerri/Onitsha road.
All we need do now is offer our condolences to our weeping brethren and perhaps lots of kleenex to go with that. Those who have finally seen the light will make the bold move to secure the future of their children without further delay by rededicating themselves to the struggle to liberate Biafra from the clutches of these leeches while shunning opportunism. Think about it, after the baboon Obusonjo is done you will have to deal with that funny looking monkey Atiku and don’t think that his now touted plan of having Kalu as a sidekick will be any consolation.
Take a closer look at some of the things this ape Atiku had to say about a man far more intelligent but obviously less streetwise than him
“it was better for them to stay with a sitting president who they know and who has apologised for his past mistakes than to vote for a stranger who may turn out to be worse in power. He reminded the gathering that Ekwueme who is now being touted as an alternative to Obasanjo has proved to be a person capable of being more lethal in undermining northern interests. The vice president pointed to the role Ekwueme played in 1995 Constitutional Conference where he canvassed regional autonomy, an idea inimical to northern interests and capable of leading to disintegration. “
Any sensible person can deduce from the above that 1. Restructuring Nigeria is a danger to the mallams and they would ensure no one with even the remotest intention of doing so would be president. 2. The Obasanjo presidency if it materializes would be a lame duck and all the silly jubilation going on in Abeokuta is misplaced if the Yoruba truly believe in the SNC.Just picture Atiku stand over the oaf while he delivers his speech.Like a master ensuring his slave complies.
3. You cannot have any progressive individual emerge as president of BiafraNigeria, which makes you wonder why the Igbo elite think it is a worthy venture.
4. Hell will freeze over before Ikpatt and co. get their resource control, meanwhile they should be grateful to the "mugu" of the year Ekwueme for the little they are getting so far.
5. Biafra is the most viable option for the whole east if they want to avoid eternal servitude.

Although the Ekwueme-Obasanjo contest is occupying everyone's mind at this time, I wish to remind all of you of a warning about Atiku Abubakar that I first issued sometime ago. Reading between the lines of the language with which Alhaji Abubakar endorsed Obasanjo, one is concerned that he is a man that persons of Igbo origin should be extremely careful about in the future. That man will not hesitate to unleash horror against persons of Igbo origin if they should attempt to get in the way of his rise to power or his access to oil.
Obasanjo's crooked win at the PDP primaries was a severe setback to the progress of democracy. Efforts must continue to stop him at the polls in April.

Ekwueme's defeat to me is the most wonderful thing that has happened to Biafrans. A toothless coward like him deserves nothing. I suggest he takes his insane a$$ back to Oko or hell fire. Who cares as long as he never comes out again to disgrace himself and the Igbos that he has been lording himself over.

You will think that those efulefus would have learned their lessons by now. Go figure.
APGA is there for them, they should all repent go to APGA and ask for forgiveness, maybe they would be admitted into the only party with Biafra interest in mind.
