Of all that the to be German ambasador Mbadinuju did, this must be his most reckless action. Why in the name of what will he resort to exporting the few consulting jobs that the Igbos have left in nigeria to another tribe. This guy is truelly Sabo to the bone.
ThisDay News: 4 Revenue Consultants Generate N500m in Anambra From Charles Onyekamuo in Awka
Independent Revenue Consu-ltants, Seeama Consult Limited, contracted by the Anambra State government to help boost its internally generated revenue (IGR) profile, has generated about N500m for the state government in the last five months.
A partner of Seeama Consult Ltd, Mr. Dele Ladele, who made the disclosure to THISDAY in Awka at the end of a training workshop for staff of the Board of Internal Revenue (BIR) on tax management yesterday, said the feat was made possible because Selama was able to instill confidence in the tax payers who now pay to the Anambra State government account in their own banks.
Ladele explained that the workshop, which covered courses on computer for tax managers income tax assessment, legal perspective, back duty investigation for banks, audit of companies for payee and withholding tax, was part of the technical agreement the consultants entered into with the state government.
He said that before the consultants took over the generation of revenue for the state government some five months ago, the average revenue collection was merely N20m, monthly, but it has now averaged N100m in the last five months, adding that government's revenue profile has been greatly enhanced.
The confidence expressed by the tax payers, he said was as a result of assurances that the money they pay gets to the right source, even as he stressed that the creation of revenue courts by the state government.

The most important thing should be the productivity of the consultants handling the project. The new consultants have shown their capability to raise the internally generated revenue profile of Anambra State, which is the reason for their employment by the state. It would have been a different case if a qualified Biafran citizen was refused the contract. In a situation where the agents formerly handling this project yielded less revenue than the current, wouldn’t it be justified to allow the new consultants handle this project, irrespective of their origin, owing to their contribution to the growth of the state? “The former agents tricked companies and other tax payers to write cheques belonging to the state government in personal names, while fake receipts were issued where cash was involved”. Is this what we want?
“The average monthly internally generated revenue of the state rose from N20m to N100m in the last five months”. The question here should not be on who handles the Internal Revenue of the state but who yields the highest revenue.

Tell that to Lagos State, Ondo State, Oyo State, Ogun State, Ekiti State and even Edo state not to the Biafrans who are more Nogerian than Nigerians. As you can see, the Igbo are already going outside Igboland to hire.

Of course, Biafra has got many qualified individuals in various domains. By saying

.
I mean that Biafrans have priority to contracts over their counterparts in Biafran territory. But, was there a case where a qualified Biafran was refused this right?
If no Biafran were available, shouldn’t the contract be assigned?
Don’t forget that the Yoruba name in question Mr Dele Ladele as reported by This day is just a partner of the Independent Revenue Consultants - seeama Consult Limited . The other partners were not disclosed.

There is nothing wrong in importing labour, in as much as the labour is productive. Why are there many Biafran doctors in Europe and the US?
No matter who collects the revenue, the question of accountability has to be raised- is the money recovered been efficiently utilised? Does it now mean that Anambra teachers would be promptly paid?

And not just Biafran doctors, mostly Igbo Biafrans, but other profesionals. Can you tell me why that is the case? To me, as an Igbo Biafran professional, I know that I have better opportunities and will find it easier to get a job with NASA than with the inferior (if it really exits and not government 419) nigerian space agency.

You know that i have always been a one nigeria kind of a you but I am picking up points from the way my tribe is viewed in Nigeria from these Web sites and Yahoo/MSN forums and from talking face to face with the younger non Igbo nigerian that I run into these days. I cannot beleive the hate that this younger generation learn from their parents. It was not like that when I came here in the early 1980's We were proud nigerian students. Call it internet History but I left nigeria very ignorant of her history and completely disconnected from her mordern history i.e from 1981 till 1997. I didn't read or follow thing that went on during these period. All I know about Abiola was from his ITT days in present day Enugu State and Anambra State. I saw the pits he dug for the telephone cables that never came and yet he was paid billions for that job. All I know about IBB was nothing. When I first hard about Abacha, I thought that he was Igbo because of the food, sliced cassava, that I rediscovered and found out that I love. But thanks to the internet historians, I am catching up fast and guys like me can become die hard when we finally turn the conner.

I am Africanist. I don't tell people that I have nigerian roots anymore. I just say West Africa but if they want to know more, I then tell them that I am Igbo and may explain to them about Biafra and how the world raped her for her oil. You know make them feel guilty for their part in the present predicaments of my people.

Allelua I love this new Ednut, Brothern nno o, I am glad that internet have educated you. I realized that many like you gave Nigeria the benefit of doubt, until they disappoint you. Good discovery brother Ednut.
I wish to apologise for my earlier writeup to Kadiri. That was a low jibe and it was both unwarranted and alcohol enabled. While it is not my intention to quit drinking that early in the morning or whenever I damn well fell like it, I shall make every effort to keep my jingoism in check.

Apologies accepted. Of all the loud mouths in this messageboard, you and a very few others are the only ones with juice and I humbly respect that.
It's Friday night and make sure you behave because there are too many gold diggers out there.
