International Campaign for Elections Cancellation

quote:
According to the source, the team was mandated to convince the international community that the elections of April 12 and 19 did not hold in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States in the South-East; Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Edo, Delta and Rivers States in the South-South while election results were manipulated or changed in favour of the ruling PDP in Ogun, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba, Adamawa, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Plateau, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Katsina States and the FCT.
The team would also mobilise Nigerians in the countries they would visit and the governments of those countries not to recognise President Olusegun Obasanjo of the PDP as president of Nigeria beyond May 29 this year.

quote:
In the resolution, the enlarged ANPP NEC said: "The National Executive of the ANPP salutes the European Union Observer Mission (EUOM), the Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), the International Republican Institute (IRI), the Catholic Church of Nigeria through its Justice and Peace Organisation and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) for their exemplary courage in standing up for the truth in the conduct of these elections. We salute our Nigerian journalists and several domestic observer groups who have spoken up in defence of free, fair and transparent elections in our country.

Anybody who wishes Nigeria/Africa well should support the cancellation of the April 12 and 19, 2003 elections. It is just, it is the best way for a better future and because we should not accept dictators any longer. It is also the best way to reclaim Nigeria/Africa from foreign powers.

This new kid on the block is talking too much to himself. It doesn't look like anybody is listening.

70 Post between April and May is a sign of idleness, and we all know what the cliché about that is.

ANPP, 17 Others Seek Patriots' Intervention

Coalition justifies Buhari's call for mass action
By Boluwaji Ikumawoyi in Lagos and Ahamefula Ogbu in Enugu

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and 17 other political parties which fielded candidates against President Olusegun Obasanjo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the April 19 elections at the weekend took their complaints on the alleged malpractices which they said characterised the polls to The Patriots, a group of eminent Nigerians led by Chief Rotimi Williams (SAN).

It is essential that the elections be cancelled, a government of National unity set up to organize another elections. INEC should be replaced by the representatives of the political parties. If the last elections are not cancelled, it would be difficult to ask that elections be cancelled when Atiku rigs the next elections. He would ask why it was not the case in 2003. All that is needed is to communicate with Nigerians, explaining to them the future consequences of allowing anybody rig elections in Nigeria.

It would also spell the end of democracy because many Nigerians will not recognize Obasanjo as a legitimate president of Nigeria and he, in turn would be afraid and be suspecting everybody.

I wish to congratulate you for having the vision to see the international aspects of the efforts to overthrow the illegal Obasanjo regime in Abuja. Soon, that man and his illegal government will be sent back to Otta.

Any general that has organised a coup before can easily rubbish any election.

Yet in some states, it seemed that young children participated in the vote. It is very surprising how Obasanjo thinks he could be in power with the people's mandate.

Ednut,

I think I provide enough evidence in my posts, if you pay more attention, you will notice that I provide links in most of them. You have to read a little wide, visit other websites and check Newspapers.

Okwy,

What disturbs me about Ednut is his claim that he is Igbo. I do not see how he could have Igbo blood.
