A few days ago, Al-Qaeda struck in Saudi Arabia, next door from Iraq. This shows that Al-Qaeda was not as damaged as we have been told or that it has regrouped. What is the import of these new bold attacks by Al-Qaeda? Are we about to pay the price for declaring and fighting a war against the wrong enemy, Iraq, while Al-Qaeda was regrouping and rebuilding?

With one attack in Saudi Arabia and another in Morocco, the "terrorists" are reminding us of the folly in suspending the so-called "war on terrorism" to pursue a family feud in Baghdad. Interestingly, the threat levels have not been raised in the US. May be Bush/Cheney are waiting for the last few weeks of the 2004 elections to once again begin using "terrorist threats" as a political tool.
