Fellows, the deed is done.

 -

Now that the president has been sworn in, let us rally to support him. You now have four years to plan a better election. Stop crying over spilt milk. Let us make our nation a better place.

Kunle:

Very funny, the deed is done indeed!

quote:
According to Okotie, “for you to create the impression that you won an election and go ahead and swear yourself in, to my mind, is an endorsement of political brigandage and it cannot survive.” Directing his speech to President Olusegun Obasanjo as a presidential candidate in the last elections and a servant of God, he stressed, “anyone who is encouraging him to go ahead, does not love him and does not love this country.”
quote:
“If he likes, let him bring the whole army in the US or any other part of the world to try and intimidate Nigerians, he is going to fail,”

"Their overwhelming victory at the polls has only engendered tension, anxiety, sadness, fear and disquiet: what a way to win!...Obasanjo will continue to head an illegitimate regime after May 29 for as long as he imposes himself with the instruments of coercion purchased with taxpayers' money. The people's mandate freely given to him in 1999 expires May 29 by 10:000am. From that day, he will not be representing the Nigerian people. Those that don't learn from the lessons of history sooner than later become history themselves."---Sam Nda-Isaiah.
--------------------------------------------------

The above being a press release credited to Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, the Deputy Director of Buhari-Okadigbo Campaign organization, a few hours before Obasanjo's IMPOSITION on the Nigerian people There's no doubt that apart from the tribalsed Yorubas, the gentleman was speaking the mind of majority of Nigerians.

The Yorubas can celebrate as they want but to most Nigerians and especially the Igbos, Obasanjo will remain what he has been since 1999: A YORUBA PRESIDENT PRODUCED BY THE YORUBA FRAUD-MACHINE AND PACKAGED FOR THE YORUBA PEOPLE!

"Nigerian President" my foot!!

Ednut & co:
it may sound so nice and easy from your comfort in the west, but the Nigerians at home who have bone the brunt of Obasanjo's misrule since 1999 are not finding this "swearing-in of fraud" (according to Babarabe Musa) any funny.

Just a few hours after Obasanjo was IMPOSED on the Nigerian people, the coalition of Nigerian opposition reaffired its earlier stand that NIGERIANS WILL NOT RECOGNISE OBASANJO AS PRESIDENT and warns:

Quote:
--------------------------------------------------
CNPP wishes to inform Nigerians that we are entering into a dangerous phase of fascism and police state where their fundamental rights and freedoms would be violated with impunity as demonstrated by the police refusal to grant permit for unity rallies in support of our cause as guaranteed by the constitution of Nigeria."--Babarabe Musa.

Kunle "Fellows, the deed is done."

I'm not surprised that a typical tribalist Yoruba man will make such a statement. So as long as Obasanjo is Yoruba, Kunle and all Yorubas will see no evil even when the evil perpetrated by this hediously ugly ape looking Yoruba warlord (a typical Yoruba look) is staring right in their faces. Tufiakwa.

You guys are worse than the blood thirsty Hausa/fulanis. If u can allow such a fraud to go unchecked even in this so called current democracy then who are you to criticize Abacha or other military rulers.

It is extremely obvious that the bastard Yoruba president imposed on all Nigerians and Biafrans never won the election especially in Biafra. The poor people of BiafraNigeria ofcourse do not find the situation funny and should be encouraged to show their displeasure at the ape man. Kunle and co need to quit being tribalist and realize that this election was a fraud and deserves to be cancelled if they really love their country BiafraNigeria.

What is good for the Yoruba man can never be good for a non Yoruba 'cause were all know its based on yoruba tribalism. Why should a thief , yoruba or non yoruba get what he never worked hard for.

He never won the election never had. Period.

I am extremely disappointed that the day after the historic swearing in of the president, BNW chose to resort to Biafra as top story. SHAME!

Methinks, Obusonjo was sworn in as the Agbero of Abuja
quote:
Abuja Streets Empty
From Kingsley Nwezeh in Abuja

Major streets in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja were yesterday empty while most business premises remained closed following yesterday's presidential inaugural ceremony.

Most streets in the major districts of Wuse, Maitama, Garki and Asokoro were virtually deserted as most residents either stayed at home for the public holiday or participated in the Democracy Day activities at the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Traders at popular markets in Abuja, notably Old Wuse Market, New Wuse Market popularly called "Bakassi Market" did not open for business.

Business activities, however, picked up in the evening after the swearing-in ceremony. --- THISDAY, 30 May 2003.

Nd'Igbo left town and went back East. Hausas went back back North. It was the dogs and the vultures that attended the swearing-in ceremony.

Nwanna:

A better publicity for the waawa event would be the attendance of Ejike Okpa II, the one time mayoral candidate from texas and a pro obasanjo twat.

It will be a very sad event with all the anti ojukwu elements like your goodself and lately M O "kema" Ene. Jim-BO might just be able to make it if Nnamani decides to release him from house arrest.

Take care brother and I hope the little one is eating less now.

Ebube,

The little one is waking me up three times per night for food and usually goes right back to sleep after eating and when necessary daiper change. I go to work a zombie but I have great co-workers. Thnaks for asking. I like that your name.

As for Mr. Okpa, he needs to learn how high his hands can go up whenever he wants to hang his coat, no amount of paded support for within or without will help increase short commings. I did not vote for him. His support for OBJ has to do with benefits from Gombe State while an extended family member was a military governor.

I do not support OBJ but I think that we need to help the present adminstration in Abuja succeed. I have nothing agaist Ojukwu, after all he is our inLaw.

Buhari Says Obasanjo's Govt Is 'Illegal'
Muyiwa Adeyemi
quote:
PRESIDENTIAL candidate of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has dismissed the inauguration of President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing the regime as "illegal".

In a statement issued yesterday by Buhari Okadigbo Presidential Campaign Organisation and signed by Buhari himself, he said "since Obasanjo has not renewed his mandate for another term, his continued hold on to power beyond May 29th runs against the grain of popular democracy and therefore illegal.

"His government as we have posited earlier is consequently illegitimate and shall continue to remain so far as long as it is based on the April 19th contraption," he added. Http://news.biafranigeriaworld.com/archive/2003/may/31/002.html

Obasanjo better step down and stop compromising the future of that country. Swearing-in does not change anything, it does not give him people's mandate which he does not have.

I smell a very long jail term for the thief Chuba Okadigbo whose rantings is questionable:
quote:
Insisting that it is part of a struggle for democracy, Okadigbo said that mass action is necessary and will take place depending on the outcome of the challenge to Obasanjo's election. Such action could even "increase in tempo and scope," he said. Furthermore said Okadigbo, frustration could cause the political pendulum of mass action to swing "from nonviolent to violent." Asked whether he could be considered a future presidential candidate, Okadigbo answered with a straightforward "yes."
Now what is all these rantings about for a man who could not take charge of his own command?
