This man lost the election to Dan Imo for the Abia North Senatorial seat

This should be a good indication as to what would be the results of the various cases against the PDP in the electoral tribunals. Not one single case against tha PDP has been concluded by any of these tribunals but Wabara gets express treatment from Abuja. Now I know why many said the courts would be a major waste of time.

Only that bad British experiement can something like this happen. At Least US the supreme court declared G.W president, But in Nigeria, the more you look the less you see, Abarakata abara.

Remember we are a people under occupation. Our masters appoint our representatives. And the best way to potray Igbos as disorganised is to select the worst of the lot. Everyone agrees the most blatant rigging during the April elections took place in the South East. 'Losers' have been asked to obey the law and go to election tribunals. Our masters write the laws and chose when not to apply it. If this wabara nuisance does not play ball, he will be removed just as Okadigbo and Enwerem. That sets the stage for our masters to question the ability of Igbos to share in leadership of Banana Republic of Nigeria.

You hit the nail on the head. Aremu being illegitimate simply wanted an a co illegal to man the senate. After congratulating Wabara's opponent he appoints Wabara senate president virtually letting him know he is illegal and must do his bidding. Another 4 years of blackmail.

One thing certain in the Wabara saga is that Obasanjo is directly involved in the fraud. After sending a message of congratulations to the winner, Dan Imo, Obasanjo and Wabara bribed the court because Obasanjo wanted Wabara to become Senate president.

I know that people cheat sometimes. But, the way Obasanjo is going about it will bring serious consequences to him and his Yoruba people. Now, where is that simpleton called "Manpikin?" Surely, reading Manpikin's take will give us insight into the mind of that moron, Obasanjo.

Nothing is gonna happen to the man. He will remain a senator and the President. INEC is too weak when it plays by the rules and great impact when it is deceptive.

Speaking of "Politics Unusual," this is How the vote was rigged in the Ebonyi South Senatorial constituency, the home of Anyim Pius Anyim,

As we were driving around town, we noticed that while eager voters were standing in line waiting for the voting materials to arrive, a lot of the PDP guys were hanging out at various local bars (beer parlors) drinking and looking like they were already celebrating their electoral victory even before the voting started. We got really concerned and decided to visit some of our party elders. We learned from talking to some of them that some of the electoral materials had already been provided to PDP members who were already at some secret locations thumb-printing the ballots for PDP. That information sort of explained the delay in commencement of voting and the lack of anxiety on the part of PDP people who were already celebrating their victory before the election started.

When at 3pm the electoral officials finally showed up with their materials at the polling center, our people demanded to know how many ballot papers were available to ensure that the officials had enough materials to ensure that every eligible voter that wanted to vote had the opportunity to vote. The polling center where I was registered to vote had about 960 registered voters. This meant that the electoral officials should have brought about 960 or more ballot papers to the center. The electoral officials informed us that they had only 400 ballot papers. This meant that once 400 eligible voters had voted, the remainder of the eligible voters will be unable to vote due to unavailability of voting materials. Because our people suspected that the missing ballot papers which constituted the majority of the ballot papers intended for the polling center may have been given to the PDP to ensure that no matter how the people voted the PDP will win, they insisted that voting will not start until all the 960 ballot papers were produced. This led to a heated argument between our people and the PDP people who were insisting that voting should be allowed to commence with the available materials. As the argument continued, PDP thugs came to the scene and started shooting into the air obviously to intimidate our people into allowing voting to start on their own terms. When our people would not budge, a fight broke out between our people and the PDP people and in the midst of the confusion, somebody picked up the ballot box and smashed it on the floor. This caused a lot of the people who have been waiting for the voting materials to arrive to leave the polling centers since it became obvious to them that the PDP was not willing to allow normal voting to take place. --- Dr. Ndukwe Azuewah, former Candidate for BiafraNigerian Senate for the Ebonyi South Senatorial constituency
