My stand is that Christianity, Islam, etc are imported religions to black countries and therefore used to antaganize us against each other.
We should therefore try not to criticise each other, thereby frustrating that antagonism, except when a religion constitutes a danger or an obstacle to peaceful co-habitation among black communities or countries.

Celine, welcome to BNW and remember to tighten your seatbelt. I believe many already know what the problem is but are not ready to speak up in fear of being branded bigots. Enough of all the pretence. It's about time that we tell eachother the simple/hard truth no matter how sweet/bitter it might be. Only the truth can set us free. There are things that are better left undebated. Religion is like an intoxicant which can do wonders to becloud one's sense of moderation. Whole countries have been torched on issues bordering on Religion. Any discussion of religion ultimately leads nowhere but the unanticipated. As a practising christian and believer in the name of Jesus, i enjoin others-be they christians or muslims to allow God be the judge between evil and good. Comparing and contrasting different religions is an academic excercise in futility.

While I may appreciate Addy's sincere and peaceful position so eloquently stated, I have to say that based on a southeastern Biafranigerian point of view I cannot claim that same luxury.
Before 9/11 The Muslims of Northern Nigeria have been cold bloodedly bestial murderers. Their records go a long way back.
It did not take 9/11 to formulate for me the belief that the Religion of Islam has lent itself to the kind of open interpretation that enabled and justified the bloodlustful manner in which our Muslim neighbors enjoyed their bestial sprees.
What has made me exceedingly madddd Celine is the total obliviousness with which the world and our so called Judeo-Christian brethren have stood by and watched innocent men and women being hacked to pieces only to overdramatise issues such as the death sentences by stoning of a single individual, publicising it through such shows as Oprah Winfrey and generally exploiting it for what its worth. Where was the world when hundreds of thousands were being killed? manually being hacked to pieces? I am madddd. I am MADDDDD.
I could go on and on but if the society wants to circumcise one of its female members in such a brutal and bestial manner and the womans relatives agree to and play a part in it, I say let them enjoy.
My gripe is where innocent Christians are being hacked to pieces involuntarilly and the Judeo-Christian world keeps quiet, only to talk to me about a Muslim man being voluntarilly amputated, or that it had to take 9/11 to discover what we already knew.
I am MADDDDDDDDD!.

I read her text this afternoon and she was talking about today not yesterday. You provided links of yesterdays western Christianity, not Ethiopeans actually, the credle of christianity. The author was only trying to convey to you that Islam is not susceptible to change. A religion like Islam which narrows and which cannot satisfy the test of modern reasoning will not survive the reconstruction of today's society or global village. Islam remains a religion with no road map to change. To swallow and follow without decent, whether old doctrine or new properganda, is a weakness still dorminating Islam. Unlike chritianity, comes a new civilization, reform, and a new order of ideas bestowed upon human beings. Tastes have been cultivated; manners refined, views broadened, humans humanized but Islam remains intolarable for change. That is what the author is trying to say. I hope you copy .

To Malcolm X I have this to reply: The sites you list describe Christian excesses and cruelties - but of the PAST. I will not defend them. However, for historical wrongs there is nothing that can presently done as both victims and perpetrators are long dead. The point I was making in my website is that these Muslim cruelties are happening NOW. There is therefore everything in the world that can be done to prevent genital mutilation of little Muslim girls (for example) right NOW.
In fact, you could start yourself by trying to get your fellow Muslims to stop being so cruel to their own children. Why should it take me, a non-Muslim, to try to defend your own children against Islam's own cruel practices. Shame on you, Malcolm X!
And the further assumption Malcolm X makes is that I am a Christian. There you are very wrong. I not Christian, Jewish - or anything else. I am just someone who hates cruelty and who has the clarity of vision to see that Islam is a cruel religion.

I just wanted to start at the beginning to show that Christianity began as a cruel religion seeing how the closer you get to the time of Christ the religion was still cruel. You are missing the point. You constantly want to tell me about Christianity but I have told you before I am not a Christian. Why are you trying to muddy the waters in this way?
I raised the issue of Muslim cruelty on my website and in spite of the fact that you are a Muslim yourself and want to 'Propagate Islam' you still have not answered my points:
1. Two million little Muslim girls are sexually mutilated on behalf of their Muslim parents each year. What are you personally doing to get this barbarity stopped? Forget about Christianity. What are YOU doing about this Muslim cruelty?
2. I have given scriptural evidence from sacred Islamic sources which indicate that the Prophet Mohammad had sex with a nine-year old girl when he was fifty-three. I have also given evidence from the writing of the Ayatollah Khomeini that nothing much is changing in Islam on this matter. What reply have you to these charges?
3. There are other examples of cruelty that I have listed: hand-severing, stoning-to-death, etc. What reply do you make to these charges?

I don't know why you are upset. When you talk about religion, it is good to begin at the beginning, then go through the middle and then the end. I have shown you the beginning. I believe I have also shown you part of the middle. My next move will show you Christianity to today. It is a story of sex, homesexuality, animal sex, and more. I will be back. It will be an interesting account. Christianity is more interesting than any fiction. All you have to do is search sex, cardinal, priest, immorality, incest, anglican, catholic, episcopal, bishiop, and you will find all the answers you are looking for about the perils of of the christian religion. If you have recently engaged in an online debate with muslims, did you notice that there's a difference in the way they react now. They seem to be confused and lost, frustrated at being posed with same questions, and again failing to answer them.
It is clear that they are so fed with Jewish - Zionist conspiracies crap in their nations that they actually start believing in them. But now, those muslims online who have had interactions with normal human beings on net feel angered to know that they are being laughed at for believing in garbage. They realize how badly they have been left behind - and are eons behind the ever speeding non-muslim society. People have given up their irrational beliefs - while some muslims still believe that Neil Armstrong saw the Earth hanging on strings when he went to moon (one muslims actually said this - can you believe it?).
Out of anger, perplexity, frustration at the loss of the belief system their lives used to revolve around till this point, they have started blaming mullahs. You can frequently see modern muslims accusing mullahs for their plight. Some of them turn to west to find an agent for their plight.
What they still don't realize is that it is their own societies, their own beliefs which is responsible for their lack of prosperity. These muslims who frequently blame the mullahs still don't find any fault in the quran.
But there is a change - and that is for sure. They are slowly, but gradually realizing the stupidity of islam, though they still don't admit it. This could lead to implosion or explosion of islam - depends upon how successful these modern muslims are in floundering out of this mess known as islam.
Your campaign is working. Your efforts are bearing fruits. You must remember that there are millions who support you, and are spreading your message in various communities.

I said it many times that Islam is a house of cards. It is just an inflated balloon. Many people see the pomposity, the bravado and the violence of Muslims and think it is impossible to get rid of this evil cult that holds these poor souls in its grip. But the truth is that all these are make-believes. Muslims are very insecure. They do not want to leave their faith but they are also frustrated that they don’t find any answers to the questions raised against it. It is just a matter of time that they will start shaking in their blind faith and will leave en masse. This will happen much sooner than you think. The key are the non-Muslims. When everyone come to see Islam for what it is, they can no more fool anyone. They all see the emperor is naked like a jaybird, but they dare not say it. So far they kept saying, “Islam is the fastest growing religion” and with this lie they felt energized.
