I want you all to objectively consider this, keep your prejudice against Abacha aside and analyze this. We have now had four years of Obasanjo, Now considering, all the attrocities Obasanjo have metted on innocent Biafranigerians. My question is whether you all agree that Obasanjo was actually planning to topple Abacha's government.

Personally I think Obasanjo was guilty as charged.

In as much as i would love it to be otherwise, the evidence at the time CLEARLY pointed to a FRAME-UP. From witnesses recanting stories, to inadmissible evidence and so on, Obasanjo was clearly a victim of Abacha's sadism.

There is no smoke without fire, Hindsight is always 20/20. yes Abacha was brutal I agree completely, However he is no dummy either, I do believe that Obasanjo is not completely innocent, His track records and personality lend some credence to the allegation that he may have plotted against Abacha.
