We now learn that IBB has admireres in Africa, including Jerry Rawlings. Does this mean that the Yoruba press propaganda had no effect outside the country? Rawlings Praises IBB Does Rawlings speak for you.

Rawlings indicates that if Obasanjo could become "civilian president," there is no reason to oppose IBB. After seeing what Obasanjo has done, I am starting to think that IBB was misunderstood over June 12. Do Nigerians really hate IBB or was it Yoruba propaganda? Who would be a better leader, IBB or Obasanjo? It looks like IBB saved the country twice: first from Buhari, and then from Abiola whom IBB knew better than most of us.
